It used to be really good. This time I went it was just average

Arrived at 8am
Ordered a pepsi it had fruit flies in the cup

I looked for smoked salmon there were none to be found

The waiter we had was scarce

Omlet station was a person who did not talk
We were not please with this visit

We love the nite buffets

This was bad food and bad service

Food over priced and over cooked for what you received. Living off the name from long ago.

Delicious! The buffet was fantastic! So much to choose from. The crab soup was outstanding!

Great food and the waitress, Sarah, was great and really made our visit great.

My husband, adult son and I went to Phillips last Wednesday and had delicious meals. I got the broiled seafood platter, my husband the fried seafood platter and my son the scallops. We all enjoyed our meals very much. The desserts were good also. Our waitress had a very friendly personality and she did a great job making sure that we had a most pleasant experience. In a normal year, we do the buffet but it s going to be hard choosing next year.

Food ok..service aweful..server spilled drink and didn't apologize or cleanup. .early evening...chaos and confusion. .

The food was flavorless. I got the seafood and it was horrible. The staff was good but the food was disgusting for it to be a lot of money. Rather have went somewhere else.

Due to covid they are not doing all you can eat, but food and service were still good

The young lady who waited on us was the only thing good about this place. Save your money.

If you worked there it holds a special place in your heart. 1955 and still as innovative as when Bryce and Shirley first opened the doors. It's tough to stay a legend in an era where Mom and Pop routinely sell out, but the grandsons are still working, the crabs are still HOT, the seafood still plentiful, and ain't the beer still cold Chuck?
Employees have become Patrons, the crabettes now bring their kids, and if the food wasn't good (and it still is), memories alone would fill the seats. Tradition is a word the Phillip's family owns and that's the only recommendation I need give. Mike, Ronnie, credit to both of you for helping the family to keep it alive.

AWFUL. As we all work hard for our money this buffet is a disappointment in so many ways. The "seafood" buffet is a buffet with barely any seafood. What one may go for, like the crab legs, is handed to you two at a time, and they are cold with No meat inside. We had many items on the buffet that we had to wait for and that were cold when eaten. Service was not the best and the place is dirty. Sticky chairs, bad smelling bathrooms. Embers and Bonfire beat this place by far. DONT GO AND MAKE ME SAY I TOLD U SO!

We come year after year after year, and this year was the first year we got seated immediately. Our server, Sydney was attentive and nice. However, while the buffet selection is expansive, I feel like they've decreased their offerings over the past few years. Although what we had was very good. I'll keep coming back for sure! :)

Went early for the all you can eat! No complaints, left the place stuffed!

The food is good, and now they offer a grwat breakfast!

I ate so much at the seafood buffet, I thought I was going to explode. But everything was wonderful and the staff was friendly.

Classic beach dinner destination. Nice atmosphere and food offerings. Filet was cooked well but underseasoned. Crab cake was tasty. Seafood sampler appetizer was delicious.
Please either remove or lubricate the antique spindle pedals that gave adorned your tables for decades. Many children insist on playing with them and they create the most ear-splitting, brain-piercing, blood-curdling high-pitched squeal I've ever heard. It gave my wife a headache and drove our children crazy until I found who was doing it and politely asked them to stop.

Phillips is an OCMD staple and it was nice to return some 20 years later and bring my husband, who had never dined here before.

Certainly not the busy, crowded restaurant I'm used to seeing due to our new age of covid, but busy none the less, which was nice to see.

Our food and drinks were great. Our server was friendly and efficient. We hope to return sooner than 20 years the next time!

People were very snobby and felt like we were not good enough to be there.

Been going to Phillips for years. I don't know what happened but it's not the same. Food was ok not special like it used to be. Wait staff practically shoved us out the door. Took food away while we we eating off the plate. I won't be back for a long time.

We didnt want the buffet but still wanted to go out with our large family group so we saw there was a menu well you have to order menu food downstairs it was quite a disaster not super impressed

First time here and the service was terrific. Fantastic breakfast buffet.

Amazing spot ,kind of sad they stopped serving mako shark though was looking forward to that. Still great place awesome atmosphere

Easy to walk to from middle of boardwalk. Crab cakes are over rated.

We ate the buffet & theres so many options especially involving seafood. 1st time 4 me but ill definitely b going back

Good food. However, the only reason we went was for the steamed blue crabs and snow crabs at the buffet. They did not have blue crabs. Despite the fact that there is blue crab decor covering the entire restaurant. When I asked why they replied with "the water is too cold". The snow crab legs were still good.

Server was nice, But, had Better food at a Cheaper price ! Disappointed !!! I won't eat here anymore!!

Best seafood I've ever tasted! Scallops and Crab are amazing! High prices, but it's definitely worth the money!

Food is Delicious a little expensive but worth every penny

Loved it!!!! Can't believe the food they have upstairs in the all you can eat buffet. If that's not for you you can dine downstairs and choose from their menu. Very nice staff.

Very good seafood/crabs and hush puppies. The chicken wasn't anything special and the buffet was closed bc of covid19 but it was a good dinner and our waitress was very nice and friendly. Definitely recommend to go when in OC

We didn't enjoy it, the oysters was over fried, shrimp had no seasoning, crab legs was over cooked

If i can give this place negative star i would. This is by far the worst experience i've had with any restaurant. Manager is very rude and uneducated. I don't know how she was able to get this job. We were asked to leave the restaurant because we asked to buy drinks and they refused too. Made us pay the whole bill $37!! Per person when we haven't ate our full meal. Very unaccomodating and unprofessional on both the managers. No customers should ever experience this type of disrespect! Don't come here! not worth the hassle and the amount of money you pay for.

Food was excellent. It came out hot and fresh, and didn't take long after we ordered. The prices were higher than average, but the quality was great.

Would give them zero stars if it allowed.

First lets start with the restaurant itself. It is so outdated, unclean, and smelly.

The only good thing on the buffet was the crab legs. Everything else was lukewarm. There are actually 2 sided to the buffet seating area. The back area is where we were. It was sloppy and the front buffet area had WAY more to choose from. Nicer salad selection, crawfish, and more to choose from.

I watched an employee walk out of a bathroom stall without washing her hands.

Ate at the buffet for the first time. Was looking for a good seafood buffet and found it here. Had a good selection and everything tasted great.

Love the food and staff is great. A little pricey for some but not us. Only complaint is, they used to have great small loaves of bread, now just gummy rolls. Where's the bread.

Long wait for server. Prime rib way too raw with no option of a bit more well done.

Price through the roof and the food is prepared in mass with no care. It was good but for the price wish the crabs were cooked properly!

We enjoy the upstairs buffet. The food selection is amazing. The usual suspects are available blue crab, steamed shrimp, oysters, clams and snow crab legs.
If you are not a seafood lover there are plenty of other choices.

Left here sooo stuffed. Wish they had one of these by me.

Loved, Loved, Loved will come back on our next trip again next year all the Food was Good. Staff was wonderful.

Best buffet in town! We make it a point to visit Phillips every visit to OC.

The BEST hands down! Sadly the buffet is closed because of the pandemic but we will be making a special trip back down here JUST for the buffet as soon as it is open ! Phillips is the only reason my family comes back to OC year after year. We ve wanted to try different beaches but if Phillips isn t their neither are we. We eat here year after year and the quality has never left. If y all opened a place in Morgantown or even Pittsburgh I d totally go broke. Your food is to-die-for!

I've made the five hour drive to Phillips just for dinner. The quality is exceptional, and consistent. The price is better then average for a buffet of this magnitude. Go to Phillips, you will not be disappointed!

Coworker and I drove 4 hrs to the beach and was referred to dine here, I would not recommend this place to anyone. The servers were to busy to tend to customers talking about personal issues seemed like 90% of the servers were young kids. I wish the food was better the shrimps were hard did not taste fresh the fried chicken was dry the soda was warm and looked like it had suds on top. Two table across us were so loud everyone dining were constantly turning and looking at them, the only thing I ate was a corn on the cob so my whole meal was $46 that was some expensive corn.

Everything was amazing , except for my husband was given warm soda each time.he got a refill

Food was good and a. Waitress was wonderful parking across the street just tip and your good to go yummy

8 piece carry out. Maryland fried chicken Amazing!!!!! Best 15 i spent down here, came with fries, 4 rolls an coleslaw!!!!!!!!!!

All the dishes that we tried at the buffet were great, front the ice in the ice tea to the ice cream on the cake...

2nd time being here and it has gone so far downhill since our last visit... this review is for the buffet level not the 1st floor level... the wait time wasnt bad...about 10 mins... got to our table and the chairs and flooring is extremely outdated. My chair had a tear on the seat. The Buffett is stocked pretty full of a nice selection but not everything is labeled. The food we got was decent...what was warm anyway. Some of the items were cold... the crab legs ended up being like stuck on the inside then finally after getting the meat out, it wasnt very good. Something about it just didnt taste right. Bill came to $92 for 2 people eating the buffet without any alcohol being served. It was definitely not worth what we paid for.
