They will send you a reference number and pin which will allow you to view their site. However, when you attempt to use the reference number after you've logged in not work which will make you want to call them. Don't call them, they are phishing to try and get money out of you that you don't owe them as the remaining living relative. They also have their name setup to be very very similar to an actual reputable practice but if you look closely at the url's they're using and numbers they are not the same at all. Clearly a scam.

A lady from this office called me to ask about my father's estate and would not identify themselves or where they were calling from until I verified my father's deceased date. I was very hesitant as the world is full of scammers. I asked what kind of service they provided and could not answer my question. Once she stated she was calling from Phillips & Cohen, I looked it up online on the spot and came across the google reviews. As soon as I mentioned the reviews the lady cursed me out and hung up on me. Very professional.....
DO NOT PAY this so called Credit Collections Place without doing your research!! My husband received a COLLECTIONS NOTICE from them without any previous notification from anyone. Stated he Owed $500.00 + monies to BMO. We directly contacted the Bank & after checking 3 different resources had given us a written notice stating he didn't owe a cent & his account had been closed with them for over 5 years. Will be contacting the BBB on them!!
Took 3 phone calls to get thru to a rep and then it took 15 minutes talking to him before i was sent to the payment center.terrible customer service.
On January 6th, I asked Flora to take the full payment out on the 30th of this month (said it several times on the so called recorded call) and of course she took it out yesterday. Now my account is overdrawn. CROOKS!!! BEWARE!!!
My husband passed away I. March of 2019. This month (April) I received a letter from this law firm to his estate. I called the number on the letter trying to explain he didn t have an estate and I wanted to know who they were representing. They started they weren t allowed to give me that information. Are you kidding me how dumb do people think I am. Seriously do not ever give out information to anyone that sounds fishy,
Crooks and they harass you calls everyday. Mailing me about an astronomical amount of fees that was never originally agreed on. Had to get my lawyer to send them a cease desist letter. Literally scammers with government backing.
I just got a letter from Philips and Cohen. Stating my deceased mother owes money. So glad I looked them up. How deceitful they are. She OWEs not a penny. What crooks. Hope no one else falls for this. Don t even contact them. They are scammers.
Scam people much???? Do you send that message to the family that has list a loved one after 4 years. You people are the heroes of the world. I can't wait to see what is comes next to an estate that does not exist. Lol thanks for the laugh.
I'm so glad I looked at reviews on this company. My mother in law who recently lost her husband of 62yrs recieved a letter from these people. She was struck with worry racking her brain what debt could he have.
I clean for them and the staff are so nice and warming and welcoming
I try to get up with them so I can pay off my debt and they either hang up immediately or never call back
This group is absolutely full of it. They use a scrambler for the numbers... so will seem like a call from someone and then they leave a voicemail with corporate number. Hire an attorney and fight them. They are trying to re-season an account i have with the statute of limitation 2 years away. Such bull.
If it was possible to give this organization zero stars I would. I had to deal with them about my fathers estate after his passing and my experience was nothing short of awful. They were rude, patronizing and would not work with me at all. I am not one to typically leave reviews, but I felt the need to warn anyone considering doing any type of business again. I sincerely hope that I do not EVER have to work with them again.

Half of the employees don't have a clue what they're doing. Clients are constantly given excuses and told to call back the next day. When the next day comes, there still aren't any answers. I have never had to chase a collection agency to pay them.
This is a SCAM. I got a letter in the mail saying I was dead and they needed to settle debt from my estate. So being that I was dead I called from the grave. The lady could not find my account and wanted me to give more information. I said 'I AM DEAD' Remember. The only reason I give it 1 star is there are no negative stars and it was funny to call in as a dead person.
BEWARE: They are blind targeting recently deceased people to try to extort money from executors. Their initial letter claims to have bills against the account but they do NOT have any details. Then their website and, I assume, phone calls are designed to get information about the estate so they can further hound the estate WITHOUT CAUSE. DO NOT ANSWER THESE REQUESTS. This is an awful company trying to scheme the unwary out of money.
Total SCAM!! Do not call. I hope you rancid people get what is coming to you. Shame on you for praying on people in grief and the elderly.
Horrible business. My mother died. They called me. Wouldn t tell me what they wanted, but wanted all sorts of information about her. The woman I spoke to was hateful. Kept talking over me with what I m sure was a script. Don t know how they sleep at night.
TOTAL SCAM. AVOID AT ALL COST. They are just seeking to bill you for made up fees and charges related to managing an estate. They are tricky making it seem like they have bills you need to pay. Call a real estate attorney or estate CPA. These guys are crooks! You can see that the only reviews greater than 1 star are form employees that work there!
