Never buy Philips product when not on sale. Their sale usually 30-40%.
Now there are no bad things to repair, you can buy around 15% off to buy new products.
I have not use my Fidelio soundbar for sometime now. I tried to use it one night and suddenly all the apps that require internet refused to connect (e.g. Internet radio, browser, etc...) The message was that it cannot connect to Philips server. Internet radio is down and is unable to connect to the Philips server. If you're wondering, my internet is working fine. Called them but nobody picked up. FB messaged them and after telling me that their team is looking into it, there is no more follow ups. That was more than 2 weeks ago. Reminders on FB chat were not answered also.
Update: More than a month has passed and still no response from Philips even after numerous reminders.
A bit of a walk from the MRT but good customer service
Excellent after sales service when my Philips iron gave problems. Front line staff and the personnel manning the hotline were very professional and well trained. Good job, customer service manager. Philips will be my brand of choice when choosing appliances in future.
Obviously PHILIPS chooses to hire dumbass phone customer service staffs made up mostly of Filipinos and Filipinas staffs that have the DISABILITY to comprehend what was said to them over the phone, with very POOR comprehension in understanding the questions given to them and wasting customer s time by giving unintelligent response with NO solutions. With this kind of POOR comprehension and BRAINLESS staffs being the representative of the company acting as customer service it is guaranteed PHILIPS company will slowly DIE with ZERO business.
Filipinos can speak English, but they have are very bad in listening and comprehension. And don t get me started, when they are wrong,
they won t admit, only become dramatic with tears.
Problem with SONICARE HX6932 Electric toothbrush. Warranty ended yrs ago. The battery already fully charged, but there is a buzzing sound upon pressing the button, nothing works. Suspected not the battery problem, perhaps to be internal components. The question posed was: Can the toothbrush be FIXED or not?
Called PHILIPS customer service line TWICE, gave the details of the toothbrush. Kept customer on hold for very long time twice.
Number one DUMBASS: A male Filipino customer service said he cannot find the Serial number so he cannot give any solution to the question.
Number two DUMBASS: A female Filipina customer service said Because the warranty already over, cannot fixed, the company only fixed for product that is still under warranty . Wahlao kept customer on hold for long time, then came back with crappy answer. Since she was already told the toothbrush warranty already no more, she should have just said so in the beginning of the conversation that for all PHILIPS electric toothbrushes with expired warranty, products cannot be fixed because the company only accepts product that is still under warranty to be fixed. Instead dumbass truly wasted customer's time. Boycotting PHILIPS products.

We have been trying to get a Phillips vacuum replacement filter for the last two weeks. Cannot seem to get the part we required. No call backs to let us know the status of our order. All our phone calls get diverted to the Philippines. Very, very, very, unsatisfactory service from Phillips. Very disappointing! You need to get your act together!

I used to swear by Philips' product as their appliances WERE reliable. Unfortunately that was in the PAST. In recent years, I gotten Philips Blender, electric kettle and Vacuum cleaner. And the blender unable to operate despite it being lightly used. The machine refused to blend despite having lights turned on. Went to service counter at Toa Payoh, but the checking fees by technican + parts are too expensive to repair. It is as good as trash now. Secondly, it is very exasperating trying to resolve a simple issue like checking on warranty period for a purchased product. The calls all go to philippines who has difficulty matching the serial number of the item! It is simply NOT on the label but they insisted it is. And there is NO way of reaching a Singapore office to sort this out. TOTALLY exasperating! Buy at your risk Philips products! My utter regrets!!
My hair dryer broke after 1 month. I got a replacement after 2 days. Excellent service. Before Going over to the service centre n after reading all bad reviews, i was afraid i am not able to get a replacement or good service. Surprised they have improved. I went there during weekdays, waiting time less than 10 mins.

Only 4 staff manning Collections and Repairs. Out of 6 stations, only 4 were manned by service staff.

Poor Customer Services. I cancelled my Order yet Philips send me an email stating my Order was sent/collected and the Credit Card charges went thru. I called the Customer Services Team in August and was told my refund will be reflected in the next Billing Statement. As of today 01/10/2020 i still have not receive my refund after about 5 weeks.

Super long at consumer care. Queue number was called at about 25mins each per interval for service/repair. Overall poor experience ... they should be able to serve customer at a faster pace. My total waiting time was 1 hr 15 mins.

After I tried to seek help from Philip's customer support for a malfunctioning air purifier, my experience has been nothing but appalling and terrible.
I reached out to their singapore number hotline, but it diverts to a philippines call center - which isn't the problem. The issue is that none of the staff who answer the phone seem to know what they are talking about, or even care in helping you. I reached out through their facebook chat, all the team there does is 'we have passed your case to the customer support team, they would very much like to help you, etc'. I sent them an email through their website, and there was an automated reply stating they will give a reply in 2 business days. I tried every few days over the duration of an entire month. I couldn't reach anyone in Singapore who could help.
I received no updates at all for one whole month! Not even a courtesy email "We have noted on your case, we are looking into it". And for some background, I just wanted to know the operating times of the main office, if i were to bring down my air purifier would they fix it, and how much would it cost. I honestly can't imagine how much effort is required to answer these 3 questions.
If I could leave a negative 5 star review, I would. Objectively speaking, I believe that the quality of hardware across the major brands are by and large very similar. The differences come when you need help from customer service to solve a problem. Philips's customer service is practically non-existent. I would never touch a Philips branded product again, and I would advise everyone to stay away from Philips as well.

Terrible customer service! Was even quoted 2 separate collection fee of $16 (one way) for the same bundled toothbrushes that had issues even before a year of usage. Products are still under warranty. Totally avoid Philips products in future.

Usually we need to check warranty card to locate service centre that operate on weekdays only. There is no need to check for Philips Electronic. Philips is at Toa Payoh : D. Philips Electronics is very customer friendly and is open on Sat also! They sell wide range of products here, can buy accessories, lightings and they also repair appliances within one week!

This is a brand new building at a brand new location and they seems to have a brand new business. Once one of the largest employers in post independence Singapore they have moved up the technology chain - away from just domestic appliances and TV s.
Very piss poor experience with my online order. Firstly delivery option is pricey, it should be free for orders $100 and above. Secondly, for self-collection, prepare for a nightmare experience. The Philips email address indicated in the PayPal invoice is invalid, then the order confirmation email from Philips DOES NOT include important information like collection address and timing. E-commerce seems to be an after thought with this company.
Easily accessible from Toa Payoh MRT. Toa Payoh has its own bus stand. The APAC building is walking distance from the Toa Payoh MRT for those who wish to walk. The building is futuristic juxtaposed against the CHJI secondary school. I visited the service centre. It is spacious and organised. You have to generate a token once you enter, giving you a number in the queue. The waiting time was not too long. While waiting, you can check out Philips products on display. The products are fascinating for tech enthusiasts.

Went to repair my car vacuum. Their service was good. They had sufficient staff to accommodate to their clients. As my product is still under warranty, they did a one for one exchange for me. everything was completed in 10 mins.
