Amazing services. Was homeless in 06 as a 16 yr old girl, they set me up in one of their girls refuges. Taught me life skills like cooking, how to budget, how to save, taught me responsibility with paying rent on time and other important skills I still use today. If it wasn't for this service I would have been on the street and don't think I would be alive today. Thank you to the staff at coast shelter, you guys saved my life!

Not very keen on them? Not my cup of tea? They didnt help me, I felt at times in the past that they treated me very unfairly and thought that I was a nuisance? But really its best to stay clear of this place at all times, no longer safe? Not a very nice place to go too? I apologise for bringing this place down, I really do, but Ive had far too many bad experiences in gosford all because of certain horrible people who I want nothing to do with anymore? Sorry Guys

It's an honour to help out at coast shelter. I only do it once a month but the feeling you get from doing your little bit and helping make someone's day a little better is simply satisfying. Charles and his crew are such caring and kind people.

About Coast Shelter

Coast Shelter: Providing a Helping Hand to Those in Need

Coast Shelter is a non-profit organization based on the NSW Central Coast that has been providing crisis accommodation and assistance to those in need for over 25 years. The organization was founded with the aim of helping people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or experiencing domestic violence.

The team at Coast Shelter is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of those they serve. They work tirelessly to provide safe and secure accommodation, as well as practical support services such as counseling, advocacy, and referrals to other community resources.

One of the key strengths of Coast Shelter is its ability to respond quickly and effectively to crises. The organization manages several affordable housing properties across the Central Coast region that offer safe and secure homes for individuals or families who may otherwise struggle to find suitable accommodation.

Coast Shelter's commitment extends beyond just providing shelter; they also offer a range of support services designed to help clients get back on their feet. These include employment assistance programs, financial counseling services, life skills training courses such as cooking classes and budgeting workshops.
