Best cheese steak I've had in a while; fries were bomb too.

They use to make the best cheesesteaks in town. Now they are tiny with practically nothing inside. Over priced when they are skimping you as much as they can! Don t waste your time or money!

I'm not a Philly fan... but Malik's is my top 5 places I've ever eaten in the world.

It has meat and cheese, but is definitely not a cheesesteak.

Food is good. Just not worth what I pay. 13$ for a "large" and it was like a small in NY. So, I wonder what the small or regular looks like. Just no value. A waste of gas and money. Reviews were high but maybe these people never had a real Philly. Idk. Won't go back. A joke.

Philly Cheese Steak was readly delicious just like New York City Philly cheese steak.
Its like being back Home and yes I will return. So, hurry up get out there folks and try this Philly Cheese Staek.

Amazing sandwich. The meat is seasoned well and the bread is soft and tasty.

The food is delicious! We've always receive quick and friendly service. Beautiful outdoor area for seating or quaint indoor seating inside The Rose Bush. Great spot to get to with friends.

Really good phillys here. The atmosphere is great too. Its also BYOB. :)

I really didn't enjoy their Philly cheese steak. They use white American for the cheese instead of provolone which gives it an odd taste. I asked for lettuce and tomatoes and as you can see in the photo there was like six or 7 tomato pieces and very little lettuce. We will not be back.

Been here before, and the food was generally good. But didn t have a great experience tonight. Wait was nearly 30 mins, but there was only one other party there. I ordered two sandwiches that s all. Neither were correct when I got home, including the extra topping which cost extra. They need to focus on quality. Will try and update if I decide to ever go back.

They're the closest thing to Geno's in Philadelphia that I've tasted

These sandwiches were so good!! Beautiful area. Oh and they were playing Post Malone when we arrived so that was a huge plus for me. we will definitely be back!

The food was not worth the cost, I paid 11$ for a regular philly for lunch. The meat was over cooked and chopped really fine, there was no green peppers or noticeable onions/ cheese, my coworker couldn t even stomach a bit he literally tossed his out. Definitely won t be a returning customer. Just poor quality, sorry Malik!!!! I only gave it two stars because I support my spurs!!!

Best philly I have ever had! That being said I think it is a little pricey for the size of sand which that you get, but you definitely get the quality that you pay for.

Great place and great service the super was super nice.

Facebook find, but I didn t find it all that spectacular as they made it sound and look. They were not bad, the only real complaint was that my fries were cold! I ve had a better sub a the local mall from Charley s Grilled Subs. But if you so happen to be in the area and want to try them out, you can be the judge.
Important to note. Do Not Park at the Service Station across the street, you will get Towed!

This place and its neighbor, Krab Kingz, made a food truck believe out of me. You get a HUGE amount of food for a low price, and it taste amazing !! I haven't been to Philadelphia yet, but I imagine this is the closest to the real deal as I'll get in Texas. I highly recommend! The cheese fries are okay, but the bacon/ranch/cheese fries are inspiring!

Omg!!!! Never disappointed coming here...Couldn't even wait to get home and eat, we made a mess in the car. But soooo worth it.

I go when I need to be reminded of home. One of two legit philly cheesesteak spots in SATX. It's as close to home as I will get without going back to Philly.

My #1 spot in SA for cheesesteaks....shotout to my man Malik

Worst service/ food truck ever! Wait time was 1 hour 30 minutes, some people were waiting even longer. Cashier was telling customers wait time was at least 45 minutes after I picked up my food. Please don't come to our community again and have customers waiting in the sun.

Went to the San Pedro location today. We have had Philly's before and it was AMAZING, just like the ones back in Phila. Today not so much, it tasted pretty good, but didn't look appealing. I had ordered extra chesse and it looked just like the others that didn't. Hopefully it was a one off day.

Rob and his wife are super awesome gown to earth people that make delicious cheese steaks! The environment is super friendly!

Don't know if many people ever got try them when they had a more traditional restaurant in the Quarry Market Shopping Center, but this is the original deliciousness from their beginning, just provided from the less traditional lunch truck format now.

Very close to the actual Philly cheesesteak I highly recommend this place it's very authentic.

The bread the steak the cheese all make this my favorite food truck ever.

I'm not a sandwich lover or at least, I wasn't until we tried these. They are amazing and yes they aren't cheap but since they use rib eye to make them, they are worth whatever they choose to charge. We take our own drinks. They allow dogs on a leash and there's a playground for kids. It's a very nice casual family place to go.

Best philly in San Antonio. Very similar to the ones you get in Philadelphia.

Ordered online, everything was hot & perfect when we got there. Reminded me of home, it s the real deal.

Waited one hour after ordering a small order. We were bumped off for a large family that came after us. They were served before us somehow.

I love their cheesesteaks! Been going since the brick n mortar at the quarry, then the mobile truck on Military or Oconnor and now The Rose Bush location. Great taste, fries are delicious, AND they have Big Reds. What more could you ask for?? Love that they have inside seating as well as bench seating outside. 100% recommend

Great little "food truck" Philly Cheesesteak place!

Everything is delicious and hot. Good family atmosphere.

The people are very inviting! There's a place to dine indoors with AC, too! BYOB! My husband loved the hotsauce they provide, too. The cheesesteaks are huge! We shared one and some fries and it was more than enough. I want to try everything.
Only thing I didn't like was the way Philly cheesesteaks seem to be made here in the south. Every where we order them, they're good but not cooked saucy like the ones up north. They're drier. But this one was the best we've had in town!

Highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed.

Food was on point. Fries on point. Bottle drinks is the only reason why I can't give it 5 stars. Word to the wise, if are you are an out of towner, as we are, obey all towing enforce signage...they will tow you before your awesome Philadelphia Cheese Steak comes out.

Malik' s Philly was really good for my first time here, can't wait to come back.

It was amazing. I'm from New Jersey and it's hard to find a good cheese steak but this one is it . And the service was excellent. Thank you will return.

Ok so my wife and I have heard great things about this place and she was feeling like a cheesesteak so we drove 40 min across town to check it out. I ordered the Lg San Antonio and my wife got the Lg Orgional. All together about $25.
The good - The meat was seasoned well and there was plenty on the sandwich. The bread was soft and nothing was overly greasy. I think the staff was friendly and had good suggestions.

The Bad
For the price they were kinda small about 8in I would of thought that was a regular.

The Ugly - There is a small indoor area with no AC but large fans but it smelled like urinal Cakes

Overall was good but I've had better. Would go back if in the area but not out of the way to get it.

The food was great, and so was the service. I gave a 4 star rating, because it was very hard to find a parking.

The atmosphere is so nice! Having the option of indoor and outdoor seating is great. It's also nice how they cater to kids by having things for them to play with while you wait for your food. And of course the food is delicious! I haven't tried anything that isn't good!

First time ever going here and will for sure be back! I got the philly fries loaded with meat,melted cheeses,bacon and onions! Huge portions! Love it! Thank you for such great hospitality and food!!

You will find this gem of a truck in a gated area called The Rose Bush. Parking is scarce so pay attention to where you park because you will get towed. Aside from that, I honestly cannot wait to go back to get another cheesesteak. My husband and I bought a large cheesesteak (the malik), regular fries, and drinks for about $20. They cut the cheesesteak in half for us and split it onto trays which was nice. The regular order of fries are pretty big. My husband and I could barely finish them off, luckily we had the cheese sauce to help us power through because the fries are delicious and we weren'tal about to leave any. Everything was hot and flavorful and left us both very full. This cheesesteak place has been around for some time and I still love it. Now this is just a theory but did they put the Maliks cheesesteak truck in the Rose Bush because his name is Malik Rose? Think about that while you wharf down that cheesesteak.

This place is OK for Philly cheesesteak I got my bread toasted and added bacon tried I feel the sandwich was pretty dry and not that flavor full. The presentation was nice. I may have to go back and try it again maybe it was just a bad day.but the Philly cheesesteak fries were really good I d probably just come back for those I actually like jersey Mike s Phillys better more flavor but not bad.

Overall good. Sandwich wasn't as meaty as before. Interior of dining area a bit cool because of the weather, but it didn't help that a ceiling fan was on!

It was pretty good for our first time there. The wait was a little long but they did warn us beforehand, which we didn't mind.

I expected something more incredible of course for the price,
but quite the opposite salty,
I asked to add sweet pepper and mushrooms which I paid for $$ and they didn't add them.

The truth is waiting more for the price.

I was visiting from Detroit and I was very pleased wonderful steak sub very good food.
