Phamous Philly's Steak and Hoagie Shop Review

Got the Malik Philly and it was great! Delicious meat and a good amount of cheese. The guys working were very nice and helpful. My favorite spot for a Philly cheese steak on San Antonio.

Excellent place if you need a Philly cheesesteak fix! Great atmosphere, kid friendly. I will definitely be coming back!

I definitely recommend this place! Came here for a family members Birthday. It also kid friendly. There is a kids menu and a playground off to the side for the kiddos. It is a bit pricey but it is worth it. They're food is amazing! I would definitely be back again. I highly recommend this place!

Still great food. Taking social distancing very seriously. You may order but then you have to wait in your car until food it brought to you. Only allowed to approach order window if you are wearing a mask. I saw several people be turned away for not having mask on.

Not worth it. Facebook made it seem they were big portions but in person they were small. Very salty and overpriced food. My wife and I ended up having stomach aches.

Delicious philly's. Awesome outdoor setting, fun games, friendly for everyone. It's super dope you can brin your own beer or wine. Lookin forward eating and hanging out here again.

Food was ok , the chicken buffalo sandwich was too salty I wouldn t recommend it .Timing was horrible ordered online said my meal would be ready by 7:05 wasn t ready till 7:30 IF You order online expect an extra 20-30 !! I definitely won t be coming back!!

I ordered the original regular cheessteak. It was very good. The sandwich was fresh. Received my sandwich in a few mins. I thought it was a good deal. Not much more than subway but u get a much better sandwich.

It was pretty good minus the hair in my food and the large drink that's actually a small. And how every single thing that u want is extra $ Customer service was pretty good. They made me a new sandwich so that's a plus. I'd probably come back.

Declious cheesesteaks! Recommend getting cheese whiz on the sandwiches. Feels authentic and provides a positive outdoor environment. Playground for kids and corn hole for everyone. Fantastic place to spend a summer night.

This place is amazing. My wife and I try to go 1 to 2 times a week. I recommend this place to anyone, especially if you love cheesesteaks and the authenticity is unmatched!

I just finished eating the original philly and....it has to be the BEST Philly cheese sandwich I've ever eaten!! My new favorite spot to eat!! The steak was perfect and they didnt smother the sandwich everything was perfect. Great job guys!!

A decent 3.5 stars on the Original Philly Cheesesteak taste, it's worth a try for sure, but the wait time is a bit much. I was there about half an hour for my sandwich although there were only a few people before me.

Actually the worst ever found multiple hairs in my Philly. Lacking in quality and taste as well. Don't believe the hype. You'll be dissapointed. Waste of money.

1st time experience, I give 3 stars for 2 reasons, 1. I order the Bacon Ranch Cheesesteak with n for a $0.50 charge add Mushrooms, their was only couple pieces of it. Told the cashier, which in fact says she is Owners, her response was like I'll let the grill guy know, No Sorry or not Interested in what I'd said, then her son wanted know who am I n mom said he jus a customer, no worries, Cool. My 2. reason is while eating, it looks like another Owner, with a white dog, I didn't like Especially the fact I was indoors... Overall my meal was Good

Coming from the north(NY) this is actually the best Philly cheesesteak I had so far here in Texas.

Minus 1-star for the wait... However, really, it should only be a half star, since I didn't know one could order ahead via text. Nevertheless.... The cheese steak was a-friggin-mazing!! Got the 'Kay's Fave' with the cherry peppers and Dayyyyyym it was amazing! 10/10 will return, but will text that order in advance for sure!

I love their sandwiches but their french fries are disgusting. They need to get different fries to go with all those lovely toppings.

I can understand if the place was inside. But we are outside. Even the city is not asking for a mask. At that huge chains are not requiring mask. Well not recommend or ever try this place.

We were so excited to try this food truck. We were very disponted. We waited 45 minutes to get our food. When someone finally noticed that we had been sitting there for a while. We decided to take our food to go. When I opened my sandwich it was so sloppy and the bun was smashed. I had to end up eating mine with a fork. I don't know if we would ever go back $45 dollars later.I hope others have a better experience than us!

This place is always amazing and definitely lives up to the hype. Sandwiches are super cheesy and meaty, and words just can't describe how delicious and beautiful they are. Eat here and you won't leave disappointed.

Very tasty and fresh. But the wait is a little long because they're that good. Perfect time to stack up points on your grind in Fortnite mobile while you're waiting. Lol....

First time having a cheesesteak from Philly's and man it was absolutely amazing!! Went at about 3:30, didn't run into any kinda wait time and the staff was pretty damn rad. Will be coming for another Pizza Steak soon. Also be sure to grab a Philly's Ice, the Cherry flavor was to die for.

These Philly cheesesteaks are amazing. As close to authentic as I think you ll get in TX. Always made fresh! Would highly recommend!

I ve really enjoyed this food truck. The service was excellent and the food was pretty tasty. This will certainly take care of any hunger dilemma that may arise. There is indoor and outdoor seating available in the vicinity for a small handful of food trucks. Though the food was good the prices were a tad high for quality and quantity. I totally recommend their loaded fries they re awesome. I would not recommend the pepperoni cheesesteak I think it sounds better in concept than actual taste. Give this place a try! Enjoy!

Terrible experience at the O Connor location literally took almost an hour to get my food, not even busy or anything but because the generator went out, that would of been fine, if they didn t forget about my order and people who ordered after me started getting there food first.I probably will take the longer drive to San Pedro next time.

SO GOOD! My husbands new favorite place for sure. We will definitely be back. We both had the original philly with mushrooms and peppers, and the pizza fries (who knew that mozzerella and pepporoni on potatoes would be so good!) 10/10

Everything is bigger in Texas except for Malik's Philly's Phamous Cheesesteaks. I ordered a large sandwich expecting to get at least a foot long sandwich. Nope I got an 8" sandwich. They have 3 sizes small, medium and large. If the large is only 8" I do not want to see the small. Don't bother ordering online the wait time will be the same either way. They got my order wrong even though the receipt clearly stated what I ordered. I did not feel like waiting any longer so I grabbed it and left. The sandwich was still good though.

I was asked to go put a mask on which would be ok if it was not for the fact that the employees were preparing the food with no mask on. This thing is getting kind of stupid.
