Always friendly. Had complimentary safety check done. Nice lounge with free coffee and wifi
Really attentive nice environment good attitude, answer all my question and detail oriented I had a great experience.
This auto dealership is honestly the best I've ever dealt with. They treat their customers like family. Their free cappuccinos are superior and their waiting lounge has all the Amenities. I love to go there! Their work I is done quickly and well.
Purchased my car from them during my time in Hawaii and received top notch service each time I went. I really appreciated how the service agents never let me get services I didn't need and didn't take advantage of the fact I know little about cars. In addition to this, once I moved back to mainland I experienced theft of my dealer plates and license plates. I was pretty upset about it but not so much for the plates but my dealership frames. Most people take theirs off by I liked mine. Anyway I contacted Honda and Eddie in the parts Department took my information and sent me replacement frames in the mail. Not only that he sent an extra set incase I needed it in the future. This might not seem like a big deal to most but I am no longer on Island and he didn't have to care but he did. That spoke volumes to me and I wanted to share my experience to others.
Mom went there for service. Mechanic made her wait a couple of hours. When another customer got there, he took her ahead of my mom. When that customer indicated my mom was there before her, he said "She's old. She can wait." WTH? They also didn't wash the vehicle, which was part of the service ordered. The tire pressures were also irregular. I had to refill the air afterwards. They varied by as much as 10psi. Needless to say, she is never going back to that service center since they don't like older folks.
Good service
Always tries to help.
Today I left with my second car purchased through this dealership. Our whole family gets our cars from Pacific Honda for good reason. We've never left the dealership unsatisfied. Purchasing a car can be a bit of a process regardless of where you go, but the staff at Pacific Honda is so patient, friendly and willing to help in anyway they can. We will continue to come back! Thank you Eric, Ed, and Alex for the superb service today!
Did not pick me up twice for agreed upon appointment for rental car arrangement for unsafe airbag vehicle......hmmmmm. After their second missed appointment to pick me up from my in town home, I gave up and just waited for the part to arrive. Operation in general is generally good. Phone service is terrible to satisfactory. Waiting area and shuttle service are good to very good. Prices seem high, but may be typical for a dealer. Service agents are variable. Keith was fine. I'm going to try Honda Windward, Tony Honda.
Horrible customer service , the salesrep I made my appt with was not there, and the substitute didnt relay the information on my application to his bosses correctly, plus the receptionist is rude
Brought my car in for 3 year maintenance and was happy with the results, but it took them quite a while to get the work done even with an appointment. They did give me a free safety inspection, but that was only after the $1500 I spent for all the other maintenance items I had to do. I will say that their shuttle service was a godsend. Since the work took most of the day, they had someone there to drop me back off at my house (about 20 minutes away) and then left me a card so I could get picked up and brought back once work was complete.
Very terrible customer service in the sales department. My partner and I recently went to purchased a used Honda Accord a little over a month ago and was told that we had got a approval went in to sign paperwork with the finance manager Alex Shu and salesman Wes Katekaru and said everything was a ok and allowed us to take the vehicle home. Told us we would get a call from the bank. Well we never did get that call instead we got a call from Wes left a voicemail that was very disturbing and threatening us if we don t return the vehicle they would have to take legal actions and pick up the vehicle from us because we never got the approval. We were always very understanding and every time we were contacted When they needed something I would always work with them and email them everything they needed. With my line of work I can t answer phone calls right away because it s law to not be on a cell phone while driving and would always return their calls as soon as I had a chance. Then got a call saying they needed us to come in to sign paperwork a little over a month later so we showed up. Alex kept pushing to get another co-signer which we just can t pull one out of our pocket. So told us we would have to give the vehicle back, I then asked him if we would get our down payment back as well as get refunded for the tint I put on the vehicle. He then gave attitude and said ok I m done being nice and I need the keys and we will NOT refund you for your tint so I replied so something that is your fault we get punished for? He then replied well it s your fault cause it was your credit seriously that s really good customer service Alex and Wes. They did not offer help in anyways like get us into maybe a older model or anything. So as we sat there for 20 mins he never talked to us and I had to walk to his office to ask him what will happen with our down payment. He replied and said he has to wait for the salesman Wes to come in and inspect the vehicle for any damages and from what he saw he said there was no damages and they would mail us a check if there wasn t any damages. So I told him well how am I suppose to go to another place to get a car with no down payment on hand. He said well we should charge you a daily rate for the time you had the vehicle. Seriously once again wasn t my fault you let a customer drive off with a vehicle without a guaranteed approval, but we are the ones that have to get punished for it?? Unbelievable that s no way to treat customers. I understand we are all going thru a rough time but treat your customers right and they will return knowing they had a awesome experience there. Just because we were young and local doesn t mean you have to treat us wrongly. This is very upsetting and I would not recommend anyone to go there to experience buying a Honda from this place at all. All I wanted was my money back because I felt it wasn t my fault at all. I have been thru many cars and know they never let you drive a car home without an approval. Alex says customers insurance would cover paying off the vehicle if we had gotten into an accident. So once again all on the customer cause they are not at fault for any of this. Let s hope we get our money back in the mail like he says.
Great, friendly service, free coffee, latte, espresso
Jordan was very knowledgable and provided us with excellent service. I love my crv and have recommended it to my relatives and friends.
Good service, friendly staff. Lounge has a free hot drinks and tv while waiting.
Unfortunately, I had a very upsetting first visit to Pacific Honda. It started off great with an employee named Sherman, but turned into a nightmare when we were transferred to a manager named Gordon Santucci. Before meeting with him we let him know we were shopping for a Honda Civic EX, but were not certain we would buy. He gave us Honda's cost and his employee's commission rates, which we did not request. Then proceeded to ask me how much commission I felt he deserved. He then asked us what price would make us happy and get us to purchase the car today. We named our price and he said he will try to make it happen. He asked me to initial next to the price I chose. He came back with a new price, which was $2,750 higher then what we agreed to, and said here you go. I thanked him for his time/effort and let him know we still needed to check other dealerships. He then began screaming, " NO! NO! What kind of people are you? Is this how you people do business? I reveal our cost to you people and you say no to me? Get the hell out of my dealership!" I could not believe what I was hearing! We have purchased 5 cars from Honda in the past and have never been treated this poorly. I still can't believe we were subjected to this type of unprofessionalism in a Honda dealership. It's a good thing we were able to see the true colors of Pacific Honda. I wouldn't wish this experience upon any future consumers. Luckily, I went to Honda Windward after this nightmare and ended up working with Stanford. I ended up purchasing the same car that day.
Service check in confusing and not organized. Unnecessary waits :(
The best Honda dealership in Oahu. Go talk to Ian, best car seller that I have met.
Bill was very cordial and helped me find the car I would love. They made me feel as if I was more than money.
Horrible service was quoted a price over the phone that was not accurate at all
Bought a new car from BRIAN MCKIBBEN yesterday and the entire process was a breeze. He took my trade in, covered that loan balance and I drove my new car home in 2.5 hours.
Always take great care of our family. Best Honda dealer on island hands down.
Pacific Honda is great. We bought our CRV here and always bring it here for service. Friendly helpful staff.
Amazing experience tonight dealing with Bill Tang and Pacific Honda! Bill made it so easy to purchase my new HR-V. It was a different car buying experience for me because I can honesty say it was an extremely pleasant experience from start to finish! Don t waste your time at any other Honda dealerships- head straight to Pacific Honda and Bill Tang!
Fair price and prompt service. Clean and friendly atmosphere. Always bring my Honda here for routine upkeep.
If I could give no stars, I would. I have never been so upset at a car dealership!
I bought a new accord in 2014 and my father bought a new CRV in 2014. We both had great experiences and went back to purchase two new cars for our wives. However, this time we had a completely different experience. In fact, I had to double check and make sure this was the right dealership.
I went into Honda wanting to buy a new civic with a trade in. My father also wanted to buy a brand new civic but the salesmen didn't quite meet us all the way. At the end of the night we were only $500 away from making the deal, but Roger would not meet us there. We decided to leave but not before Roger had the chance to tell us, and I quote "If you change your mind, give me a call and we can still offer you that price". I thought ok, well I will just go home, think about it, and give them a call if I feel the price was fair.
I called Honda the following day and asked for Roger. Roger was not in, I then asked to speak with the manager who was on duty the night before. The receptionist told me she couldn't provide that information because she doesn't know who was working. I guess it was too much work for her to ask around? I then told her I wanted to buy a car and had a deal set for us. Miraculously, the receptionist knew who the manager was and directed me to his number.
I then spoke with Alex, he said he would give me a call back. After 30 minutes I didn't have a call back, so I decided to give him a call. When I spoke with Alex, he decided to tell me he couldn't honor that offer anymore. I decided this would be the appropriate time to quote Roger "If you change your mind, give me a call and we can still offer you that price". Alex then decided to tell me that "Well, salesmen just say anything to get the sale".
I explained to Alex, that because of him I will not be purchasing Honda's anymore. My business will be with Toyota. I would have loved to purchase Honda cars for my family but due to the terrible costumer service and shady salesmen/mangers, my money will be going elsewhere.
I would also like to add, that I was unhappy with them lying to me about checking my credit report. I explained to them that I was pre-approved and the credit union was a partner with them. They still insisted and coerced me into providing my information by telling me, this is how the credit union works. They needed to pull my credit from their system. Why would they pull my credit from their system when we didn't even settle a price? Were they trying to see how much money we made?
One review down, now working on my letter now to Honda corporate.
Friendly and helpful people especially Keith our Service Advisor !
Terrible customer service from the sales department. It would be common courtesy to state your name when your answer the phone. They have no knowledge of leasing contracts and default to saying "we're just the middle man" to my questions. When I asked for a number I could call about leasing contracts, they had to look it up and gave me incorrect number. BTW they have a turn in fee of $350 if they didn't mention it at the time of the lease.
I'm not a big fan of this dealership. The salesmen are pushy. Honda Windward is better.
If you service your car here...bring alot of money...ker-ching $$$$$
I went to the dealership to get a refund for the unused warranty on my car I recently traded in and after went to look at the cars. Some employee comes up to me and tells me "sorry these cars are for customers only". Um didn't it occure to you that people can own more than one car. Or maybe we traded in our last van to make room for 2 new smaller cars. He shouldn't assume before he knew the facts. Since this is the type of people representing the company, I'm never considered a Honda again. Then for the year after I keep getting a total of 6 letters (month apart) telling me my warranty is about to expire for the same car I traded in and got the warranty canceled a year back.
I had the best experience!! I cannot say enough about the level of customer service!
From Casey and Leanne in the service dept , also to others that supported my individual needs!
Mahalo nui loa!!
Diane
My Honda is 14 years old and Pacific Honda is a main reason its still running well. I think the advisors sum up the recommended services nicely but not too pushy. I respect that.
Heard so much bad things about this Honda dealership but had no choice since it was closest to my home and it was recall maintenance... when they told me they will do multiple inspections as complimentary I was like wow how nice of them... they later told me I need all these fluids and cleaning and said it needed to be done immediately... since they said immediately I had them do the work... found out later from my other mechanic that i didn't need it immediately and I could of gotten all the services for 1/3 of the price out side... I will not use this dealership ever again...
Brought my car in for an oil change and 2 recalls. I had an appointment for 9a, got my car back around 3p. No biggie, I can deal. However that night I notice when I turn the steering wheel there is a screw or something rattling around in it. I have called Honda, I have emailed Honda, I called again and actually got a person, only to be disconnected, and now no one will answer again, and no one called me back when we got disconnected. The service department its severely lacking in customer service, and apparently quality service as well. I will delete or modify this review if Honda is able to fix the situation, but until then, I do not recommend this place.
Update/Edit: Honda called me shortly after my reviews were written and told me to just bring in the car. My boyfriend brought it in for me, and they had it about two hours and were able to fix their problem. I appreciate them fitting us in as I know they are always extremely booked. Unfortunately between the cost of services and the quality of service, this bridge may just be to burned for repair. I will most likely be taking my vehicle elsewhere in the future.
Go see Ricky thai. He is the class act salesman. Great service.
Service there is pretty bad. Honda s a great car but this place just has bad service.
Pacific Honda repaired a tire pressure leak. Two days later the tire pressure was still leaking albeit from another site. I was charged a second time. I feel that if they did a through inspection and not assume they repaired the leak when a small nail was found I would not have had to go back a second time. Both punctures could have been repaired at the same time. Although possible, but unlikely, I had a second puncture right after the repair.
They were quite accommodating without an appointment.
I took my 2003 civic to Pacific Honda for a free (required) airbag recall/replacement. When I picked up my car, they had fixed a loose component on the interior of my car door, free of charge, and made recommendations for a few other minor repairs, even recommended I go to an independent auto shop where the repairs could be performed cheaper. Very thoughtful and courteous. Thank you Pacific Honda!
Always friendly. Espresso, wi-fi, comfy chairs. They keep your service records on file, so you don't have to do anything. I have had my car returned to me cleaner than when I brought it in. It's usually ready for pickup quicker than estimated.
I been to many dealerships for service. Despite sometimes taking a bit long to get checked in, all of the service writers are very friendly and knowledgeable. The repairs are done correct the first time. That's all I could ask for!
I live on Kauai and went looking for a Honda Ridgeline for my wife. Kauai has none at all. I called a couple of Oahu Honda dealerships, spoke to salesmen, and was immediately impressed by one (Son Le) from Pacific Honda! He not only More
I have such a very bad experience here. Hai is the representative, he didn t give me all information, only said about good things and in the end, when we come to sign the agreement, that is 1 minute. I was stupid to trust the sale person there. definitely the one helped me was not honest. The most stupid decision that I have made in my life. please be careful.
Thank You a lot Jason . Very Good customer service .
Very friendly, helpful place! Smaller than some other dealerships, but I think that makes them better for the customer service side of it!
Inattentive staff or lack of staff. Was on hold for parts department for nearly 10 minutes before I hung up. They just send you to a transfer loop and no one ever answers.
Very helpful. Dealer prices keep me from getting service here.
Easiest car buying experience I have ever had! Made an appointment with Stan Lum. He was knowledgable about the product and quickly directed us to the car that best "Fit" our lifestyle. (Which happened to be the Honda Fit) Overall we were in and out with a new car in just under 2 hours! Crazy how quick and painless the process was. George was friendly, speedy and thorough in the finance department. Cannot stress how positive of an experience this was! Thank you Pacific Honda!
Horrible. They gave me two different price quotes. Kept trying to add things to the final bill. Felt I could not trust the service call center personnel. Took my car to Honda Windward. OMG so much better in customer service experience. Didn t feel like I was getting taken advantage of. Oil change is like 15-20$ cheaper too
Absolutely phenomenal car buying experience. Purchased from the big island and Ian Duong and Alex Shu made the process incredibly easy and went out of their way to make sure that I was completely set up for success. Their price, even with shipping, was significantly less than any of the dealerships on the big island, and I had my car within two weeks of my initial phone conversation with Ian. They had more variety in stock and were able to get me the specific model I wanted in the color I wanted (which was not available on the big island, and which I was told from the dealers here was not available anywhere on the islands). They didn't push to upsell on extra products or things that I wasn't 100% interested in, and made it an all around fantastic experience for me as a first time car buyer.
Thanks to both of them, I am absolutely loving my new car.
My mom dropped her Honda Fit for a recall appointment at 10:30am this morning. Was told to wait in the office. Other customers came in after her and their cars were serviced before her. Around 11:30, another younger female customer came in and had her car readied for service before my mom's. My mom asked why that customer was serviced before her. The service agent said, 'oh, we'll service the younger customer first'. Seriously?!?!?!
Instead of waiting there for her car, my mom went to run errands. She left her phone number with them with the promise that they'd call her when the car was ready. No one called. She waited til 2:30 and walked back to Honda. Asked about her car, they said another 15-20 minutes. After 30 minutes, she inquired again. They check the computer and said that it's completed.
I'm outraged that this is even happening. The fact that they had the nerve to say they're picking and choosing who to service first based on looks is horrible. If that's the case, why even have appointments???
Apparently, they're taking advantage of an old lady and assuming that she has nothing better to do than wait for her car to get fixed.
Awesome dealership. William, Kyle, and Doug did a great job getting me into a new Honda Fit, gave me a great deal, and helped me find the right financing/leasing for my budget. Highly recommend!
Great service and staff! Highly recommend Kyle for sales and inquiries!
They service was really fast. Came in for a recall they said couple hours and it was done in 45 minutes.
Service is sometimes expensive and wait can be long. Make an appointment if possible. Otherwise expect to wait. But repairs are excellent as they should be from a dealership.
I had a great experience buying a used car at Pacific Honda. Ian Duong is an awesome person to work with, he made sure I was comfortable and that I understood the entire process. I m leaving this dealership a happy buyer and won t hesitate to do business here again.
My mom recently purchased a car from Pacific Honda and here are her comments: "My recent car buying experience at Pacific Honda was EXCELLENT. Jordan Nip was the salesperson and he was very courteous and efficient. Overall service was perfect and very professional."
Excellent service I really really appreciate Mike and his service he has helped me so much every time I take my car in for a car service. If your reading this would like to say thank you! may GOD BLESS you and the work that you do!
Service department never answers there phone. I paid for all the insurance packs (extra 10k) and now when i need it, they dont cover the issues. Robert Clarke said he will get back to me and it has been 2 months. I just get ignored. Go someplace else to buy a car. These people are thieves in Honolulu.
Keith and the cashier were very rude throughout our visit. It was our first time getting our Honda serviced. Keith tried to tell me I needed a transmission fluid change even through it is good for 40k more miles. He than said we needed a new battery. However, when we had it double checked we were told our battery is good. We were being pressured into spending more money on the car than was necessary. Once we paid the cashier never called for them to bring the car and they couldn t find the keys. We waited 25 minutes for them to bring the car around.
Complete con artists. They ripped us off for $2000 and then they lied about it. They are completely untrustworthy bastards. They are racist against Hawaiians too.
I had a b12 service performed on my 17 pilot. They charged me $575 dollars and I called to Honda Windward for price comparison and they only charge for the necessary items per Honda recommendations and it would have been $350. I wish the service advisor Ron would have told me what was needed, and what was an extra, but not necessary. I felt duped.
I called ahead and they said my car was done. I showed up 30 min later, paid, and still had to wait 10 min while they washed it.
I will be taking my vehicle elsewhere for future service.
I regret leasing with them for a third time. "FAST SERVICE" meaning they make the sale and try to get you out as quick as possible- withholding important information in regard to account- resulting in late payment and delinquent marks. Extremely dissatisfied with Pacific Honda's business. Will not recommend to family and friends.
Great place. Skilled crew and staff - Ron Cassidy is outstanding in customer service! Mahalo to Ron, office staff, mechanics and shuttle driver !!! See you in 6 months at next scheduled visit!
Never been here before and never will. Every Sunday I stream Sunday night football and literally every commercial break begins with their ad for this fall sale. It's just too much and it's annoying!! Give us a break!
William Feng was kind and helping. Manager was reasonable and willing to meet in the middle, financing department only had one associate so that was the bottleneck in the process. Highly recommend this location in the future!
Both my wife and I would like to express our deep appreciation for all the help you gave us in caring for our 2007 Honda Accord. Switching the placement of the tire did the trick. So far no more vibration on high speeds on the freeway. Our car is running like a champ! Excellent service in everything we wanted done! My wife wanted to make sure that we thank you again for such courteous service as well. We never expected that! We will gladly recommend your service performance on our survey!
I m in the military and I got stationed out here not too long ago and I Went here to have my 2016 Honda Civics AC system checked out due to a 10 year warranty extension on the condensers, they had me pay 150 to check out my AC system only to come back and say that it might be the compressor and that we should replace it and monitor it. Who would pay 2000 dollars for something that might be broken and may not even be the actual issue? They also said it may be the evaporator but we should do the compressor first and see what happens. Like what kind of troubleshooting is that? Worst dealership service center I ve ever dealt with and I ve called Honda corporate to file an official complaint.
