Paying a great accountant to take care of your taxes is well worth the money compared to DIY programs that will miss deductions. Pfeffer, Hanniford, & Palka is a fantastic accounting firm that will give you personalized service. I highly recommend.

I recently had Pfeffer, Hanniford and Palka prepare my taxes. As a new business owner who operates in multiple states with several tax write-offs and other unique challenges, this was a pretty complicated process. Kristen Pfeffer helped me get my LLC off the ground, registered to operate in different states, and offered solid, invaluable advice. She was able to walk me through the steps, provide clear, fool-proof instructions and respond quickly to my emails. On top of that, she was able to save me quite a bit of money and charged me a very reasonable rate. What was expected to be a very intimidating process actually turned out to be a positive experience that left me feeling like an empowered business owner. I would absolutely recommend Pfeffer, Hanniford and Palka - the help I received and the anxiety avoided is priceless!

Kaitlyn was a life savor, I had been getting my taxes done by another firm and I kept owing Uncle Sam. Kaitlyn made some really great suggestions which I followed and ended up saving over 6k in my federal taxes! This place rocks!!!!

This is my first time using this company for my taxes, and I have been satisfied in what they have been able to do for me. They answer the phone quickly and a person helping you with your taxes have been friendly and have been able to answer all my questions. Highly recommended and will be using them again. :)

Unceremoniously 'kicked to the curb' in the middle of tax season after a 14 year relationship. I live out of state and I suppose I was just seen as 'inconvenient' to do business with. I was informed that 'our fees have doubled.' Funny, I never got any 'bulk' mailing informing me of that, and no mention of it on their website. My individual tax return would be considered 'small potatoes' and not worth the cost of doing business with. Sad.

Ken Palka and the office was slammed yesterday because it was the day before tax day. Everyone including the office staff and customers were patient and the staff made sure everyone was well taken care of. Can't say enough good things about this group.

Used this firm for over a decade. Not overly complex taxes, but I dint want to weed through them. Reviewed in depth each year and I'm confident in their work.

Kaityln has done our family's taxes for 3 years now. Ours is fairly complex with travel expenses and work in multiple states, and a dependent adult child. We have received refunds instead of having to pay more! We did not have good experiences with one of the big tax companies before we switched to Pfeffer, Hanniford & Palka. We are extremely pleased with their professionalism, service, speed, and price. Definitely recommend!

I reached-out to this company, with one or two emails, and offered to help them improve their website.
They replied, weeks later, by attempting to deceive me with a Trojan Virus, in an encrypted zip file.

Either Karen Pheffer's email has been compromised, or she had malicious intent to infect my computer with that virus.
For those who don't know, it's illegal to spread computer viruses. (duh)

If this company is willing to resort to that kind of unprovoked attack, do you really think they are a safe choice for a CPA, who is supposed to be an entity you can trust with your money?
Actually, I'm guessing that the front-end website might be a fake business, setup for lead-generation.

Not sure, but in any case, it's sketchy as can be.
This Review will be lifted, if the Business Apologizes, but until then, please up-vote this review, so that others can be made aware of the dangers involved with this company.

So, either you are lying, or your emails has been hacked, or sabotaged.
