Dont get me wrong its awesome here but the people who work here are rude. I was just there with my nanny kids and they have nevet been ice skating and so they kept falling so we stayed to the side so we didnt bother other people. This kid 20 yeats younger then me comes up and tells me ive been reported because my kids keep falling. Sorry that we arent pros. I was very upset and made the rest of the time not fun because we wete too worried to fall. Never coming back ill go somewhere where they let us fall and not get reported for it.

Awesome facility for all kinds of skating. I also love the run/walk track. We have found that their ice availability is typically more plentiful during the school year, when the oval is in, the ice times during the summer can be somewhat limited, but overall this is an excellent place to skate.

Cool place!

Cool place!
Olympic skater train there. BIG ice surface! You don't get a good feel for how big it is from watching skating events on TV. inside the outer ring are TWO full size hockey rinks. One star off because open public skating hours are limited. Fun to go watch trading though and see how big it is.

been here a few times for open skating. It is an amazing area for people to skate, run, or walk. the only complaint is that the staff is pretty rude. they don t really help you if you need help or explain things to you.

Took our youngest son to go skating here for his first time and he had an absolute blast. It is a bit confusing to get around the facility, but once you know where you're going it's not bad.

The facility itself is great. We were only able to stay a short time, our son was getting cranky and tired, but it was wonderful. The public skate rink is the speed skating oval, and there are two full size rinks inside the oval, for those that don't know much about skating, that's a very large area to have open to the public.

Prices are reasonable and I'm aware that they offer 5-packs as well for a discounted entry price. Kids under 3 are free as well.

The rental skates aren't bad, not the greatest quality but rentals never are, if you go regularly definitely pick yourself up a pair of skates on your own.

Overall a great place, only reason for the 4 -stars is the getting around and going up and down stairs. Only other thing, if you rent skates for the $3.50 they hold your shoes for you at the rental counter, if you don't rent skates, then you have to pay for a locker or leave your shoes out and the lockers are coin operated. I just stashed mine under a bench cause I didn't have any quarters but be aware that even if you bring your own, they don't tell you about that til you're already downstairs and laced up.

It's a nice facility, parking is plentiful. Heard nothing but bad things about the hockey leagues there, but there are plenty of other events that are awesome. Neat place for indoor running training during the winter.

Warning: IT IS COLD! Of course, it s a skating rink...but I mean COLD! During the summer there are two sheets and an indoor track. . During the winter there are two sheets and a speed skating rink.
No bar. No food. Just vending machines.

Great place to skate but what a nightmare renting skates. Staff don't care what they hand you and skates aren't kept up very well with miss sized laces and skates that should obviously be replaced. The kids that work there can be irresponsible and neglectful at times. Once had to get attention of staff from phone after long period of time and there was a line. Other time 3 kids were back there joking around and ignoring customers.

Very elegant and nice establishment. I've never been Ice skating before but they definitely made a great first impression on me. The people there were so nice and helpful and answered every single question I had with a quick and swift response. Thank you so much. : )

Great place to come run, walk, or skate. Favorite times to visit are the hottest days in summer and coldest days in winter. It's always a comfortable temperature inside once you get moving.

This is one of those places that Google just does not understand I've never been actually here. I have been to the parking lot in front I have worked on the side of this building I have never actually walked inside. I give it five stars but I don't really know if that's true! So I figure for all the hassle that Google has given me about me having been to this place I might as well give it 4 stars

Any skater needs to volunteer for a season here and enjoy every minute of ice time for free! This place is amazing, but needs volunteers to continue the tradition of the Olympic Oval. :)

Enjoyed family skate with my five-year old son. Met a couple of families up from Chicago. One huge oval (400 m) with two international-sized hockey rinks in the middle and a running/walking track on the outside. There's also hockey, figure skating, speed skating, curling, therapy skating, individual/group lessons, leagues -- something for everyone. Coming from NY, the prices are great (we pay over $20 locally for 1 adult + 1 child for one meh, crowded rink). Bring your own skates or rent for a small fee. Lockers available with coins. Vending machines and a small cafe for snacks/fast food in the basement. Skate shop and hockey shop on the ground floor. Nothing "fancy," but a remarkable facility, which I try to visit every time we go to MKE. Tip: It's cold on the ice, so bring a sweater or jacket + gloves/mittens. I was very glad we had snow pants for my little guy

A great place for a walk or run. My wife likes to go here and stroll the track with our baby. Strollers have a lot of rules so its best to baby wear if you plan on bringing your baby with. Nice atmosphere and good place to get the blood pumping.

Had a fun time. Holding up little kids who don't know how to skate can take some patience and endurance. Prepare to be sore. Also, their rental skates are very uncomfortable. I get that the skates need to be rigid to last many uses. I would advise to bring your own if you can get a hold of a pair. Still had fun.

Great place to skate, decent prices. Two hours of skating is $7.50 and skate rentals are $3.50. I took off a star for two reasons: the women's skates are absolute garbage. My girlfriend complained about how uncomfortable they were, they also looked disgusting. The other reason is the fact that the ice was in terrible shape. I don't know if it was just because the place was packed or if it's always like that, but it was rough. All in all, it's still a great place to skate around and I do recommend it

Best place in town for an indoor public skate. The many levels of hockey leagues ensure all skill levels get the chance to play with players with a similar skill set. The building is never kept at a good temperature, so the ice is usually very soft, which is not good for hockey.
