Great stop. Tour of the house and farm (with animals) that was informative without being boring. And guides are friendly. Donations are appreciated, but otherwise the tour is free. Will be back for one of their special events.

I been going to this farmstead since I was little with my grandma. I now volunteer there since 7th Grade. Everyone there is super nice and willing to help anyone. The history there is so rich and enjoyable to learn.

Nice tour. Lots of history. Handicapped access is poor. Handicapped parking available via a different, unmarked, road. Staff had to direct us after we were already half way down the main entrance pathway. (very frustrating).

Beautifully done living history experience. My husband and I went for a candle lit tour the guides were very knowledgeable and the grounds for beautiful. The colonial re-enactors were there as part of the preparation for the Battle of Germantown that is re-enacted each fall

The candlelight tour at night is really nice. This is the second time that we've gone to the the event. Really appreciate the efforts on the part of the volunteers to create an authentic experience. The fires outside are very warm too which is good on a cold night

Stopped by for annual sheep shearing and period display event. Volunteers are knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic to share about their craft. Very kid friendly. They have a couple newborn lambs. Tours of the house available and give an interesting perspective to the history of the area. They are boasting a new chicken house/pen.
Suggested donation of $2. I certainly encourage a little more to help keep history alive in Montgomery County.

Our tour volunteer was very friendly and accommodating. I liked that he also spoke to our 6 year old son and didn't ignore him due to his age. He was very informative about the historical setting of the farm. Anyone interested in Revolutionary War Era history should make a stop at the Peter Wentz Farmstead.

Historic farmhouse/property. Very popular candle light tours during Christmas season. They offer several 1 week programs for kids of all ages during the summer, featuring colonial crafts and activities.

This is an old farmstead with farmhouse, barn and other buildings, sheep, horses and chickens. There's a nature trail that brings the property. Just a nice place to visit and offers something for everyone. Take a camera.
