My son attended kinetic Academy from their pilot year three years ago, until he finished this past spring in 5th grade. It s hard to sum up what the school means to me and our family, but I will say that having the opportunity to have my son in what feels like a private school but is in fact a charter school and publicly funded, has been such a blessing to my son & our family. Kinetic truly lives up to its name incorporating so many different facets and aspects of learning into daily curriculums. The PBL units were amazing and my son never once complained about going to school. It was a dynamic learning environment from start to finish and the dedication of Bre Lionetti, and her carefully chosen staff, is unsurpassed. Small class sizes, wonderful teachers, and curriculum, made his elementary school experience one he will never forget. I only wish he could have stayed through middle school but there is still hope for that in the future. I m so excited that my little one gets to start there next week in TK.

My 8 year old third grader really loves Kinetic Academy and so do I! It's very nice having a smaller classroom size. The teachers are wonderful! I feel lucky to have my son enrolled there.

It's annoying that we hear fire trucks all the time because it's on a busy street and all of the teachers hate me, and my brother says at his school they're really nice to him. The teachers have been making us wear masks but not making the kindergartners wear masks and TK. I do not recommend this school.

Unfortunately, I have learned the hard way, that Kinetic Academy will do everything in their power to keep children with speech therapy or IEP s out of their school. The reasoning is simple but true. Kinetic Academy is a group of adults who have created jobs for themselves. When your child has special services, such as speech therapy or IEP s you take away from the board members paychecks. The board members don t take kindly to your child needing extra services. My child has an IEP for speech therapy. Kinetic Academy requested a meeting which I attended. At this meeting I meet with Bri and she asked me why I wanted my kids to attend Kinetic Academy. First I said, I have heard teacher dedication is wonderful. She quickly told me the teachers are very busy and cannot offer any extra time to students. Whole-group instruction is all they have time for. Teachers don t have time for individual, it's simply not an option due to limited resources. Next I said that I liked the Spanish and Art classes. She said due to my child s once a week speech therapy he would have to miss all Spanish and Art classes. When I further presses her, she refused to answer why my child couldn t attend these classes the other 4 days of the week. I could write a book on how I was treated and how Kinetic Academy staff continuously put down my child for have special needs. I realized after the meting, they didn t schedule the meeting to help my son. The meeting was scheduled so they could put me down as a parent and bully me into not attending their school. It makes me very sad to know that a school claiming to be there for children, clearly has a paycheck ahead of child welfare. If your child has no special needs, this may be a good placement for them. If you child has any special needs, weather it be gifted or challenged, I would never recommend Kinetic Academy. Kinetic Academy has brought nothing to my family but sadness and heartbreak. I would not recommend this school if you care about your children and their education.
