Very average but extremely overpriced food. Milkshakes were alright.
Very average but extremely overpriced food. Milkshakes were alright.
Great food but not as good quality as before new owners....just not the same and expensive for what they give you compared to the original people who started it the quality and quantity for what they charge now is low and incomparable like night and day
This place is disgusting I not sure why people like maybe at one point it was good
Not llike it used to be, burgers aren't great and shakes not even close to what they used to be
Peter's is great for a traditional Calgary experience. It gives you a glimpse in to the charm of the 50's with the walk up style diner, while maintain modern convenience with the drive through. Their milk shakes are thick and delicious and there are tons of flavors that you can mix and match!
It's great if you're hanging with friends, taking a date for some food before seeing the sites, or just grabbing a milk shake for a study snack.
Very popular at lunch time. Fantastic milk shakes and the portion sizes for the burgers and fries are large!
I have been eating a single burger and a chocolate shake at Peters' since 1960's whenever I passed close by. Had one today and still great. Thanks gang.
Classic burgers, great milkshakes, tons of flavours! Expect a line at most hours of the day, but its for god reason, this burger stop has made a big name for itself with its special bbq sauce and fresh ingredients.
Ooft. All very nice but the product that sold it was the milkshake. So, so good.
Great pina colada milkshakes and onion rings. Burger is nothing special. But the car line ups that are like 3 blocks long is getting out of hand..... Blocking a lot of traffic and it is very difficult to turn right.
A must when on a trip to Calgary, the best drive-thru burgers in southern Alberta.
It has gone down hill since I was a kid, but the milkshakes are still pretty great. There needs to be some improvements, for example, they need to repave the drive thru, and maybe fix the routing for it a bit. Still love it for the most part and will stop there if Im in the area, but won't go out of my way to have it.
Still one of the best drive-in's in Calgary and the burger and shakes shall keep you coming back
Time to switch up the veggie burger at Peter's. This unit was bushleague. Nice it was modest in price- but unfortunate it was even slighter yet in quality. I believe people would pay more for a superior pattie!
Slow slow slowwwww! Not worth the wait . After ordering 15 minutes for a burger and a shake. Going to CB burger from now on. 14 street and north mount drive.
Busy drive in, 2 lines for ordercservicd available. Picnic tables on site to eat there, most seemed to be taking out. The burger was customizable, it was ok the milkshakes and onion rings were exceptional. One fries, one poutine and one onion ring order shared among 3 adults who had single burgers were to much for sides. The portions are generous.
Great burgers and shakes! Absolutely going back here next time I'm in Calgary!
A Calgary tradition, s good little Burger and sides place. Burgers are good and nice fresh bun. If you like onion rings, You have to get the onion rings. They are huge crisp, everything you want in an Onion ring. Their shakes are also really great too, lots of flavours. Just remember though that this is a true drive in and there's limited covered seating and it's all outside.
Couldn't sip the milkshake right away because it was too thick. Fries were great. Service was just okay but there were quite a few people.
Don't know why people like this place honestly, the shakes are the only saving grace. The burgers a soggy and gross, and the fries are average at best. Don't get caught up in the hype!
Very clean
Best milkshakes
They have vegetarian burgers too
Haven't had Peter's in years, but having it again brought back good memories of fantastic food and iced cream. And they still got it! Great items at a great price for a larger sized meal with amazing flavor!
Best burgers on Gasoline Alley. Similar experience and taste of the original Calgary location
Always great! Best fries and onion rings. Very, very busy.
If you like large lines and staff dressed as healthcare professionals then this place is for you. If you like food then maybe something else is better.
The quality of the food seems off from just a couple years ago. The cost for a simple burger, fries and shake is expensive now. Not like before. I was not impressed and will be going to other places in the future.
Great drive-in food, fries were good, burger was good, the wife had the cheese-dog, it was good. Id eat there again.
Quality of food has gone down. Milkshakes still great
Had a cheeseburger and a chocolate shake, both were amazing, always heard about Peter's, but my first experience was this morning and 10/10 exactly what I needed!
How can you possibly go wrong with this place! The burgers are always amazing and those milkshakes will have you sucking 'till your head collapses!
Always delicious, and I always get a blueberry shake
Calgary legend. Great old school burgers, fries n shakes. nothing fancy.
Classic Burger Drive Inn, while not fancy its always busy, a bit o history when you have a burger and shake here. Nice to see it keep going for so many years. Enjoy
Found this classic greasy spoon during a recent trip to Calgary. Excellent burgers and great milkshakes. Nice little park up enjoy your meal as well.
Iconic Hamburger and Shake shop. Too many choices so be prepared to make many visits
Bit busy and hard to find a spot to park but when you do the milkshakes were so good.
Even though the wait was a bit long as it is always so busy, the food was great and good sized portions if you're hungry. Milkshakes are some of the best I've ever had!
Loved the food. Definitely going back . We were passing through and seen alot of people outside.. it is a place you cannot drive by. Best milkshake I've had in a long time.
The price here is cheap to eat if I compare the fries from McDonald s or Burger King then I rather eat not here, because fries here so soft not quality. Sorry to said that but ... just come eat then you understand how I said.
you can t be from calgary and not know this nor have not been here. and even if you re just visiting, you have to come here, food is always great, big portions, always fresh and efficient, and decent price. line-ups can be an issue especially in the summer time but hey it s all about the experience!..
Milkshakes and onion rings are all I would eat from here!
1st time there for one of their milkshake. OMG! Are they ever good. Real ice cream, real fruits, really great taste. Highly recommended!
Best hamburger in the city. No wonder this drive-in has been around for so long. Nothing fancy, just really good drive-in food.
The milkshake options are kind of insane. Highly recommend the mix of chocolate and mint.
Still the classic drive in. Worth a visit for the shakes alone.
Drove 3000 miles for a Pete's Burger...that's right!
The milkshakes are AMAZING!!! The onion rings aren't that great but the fries and poutine are fabulous for the price. Serving sizes are great too.
Like their milkshakes, only downside is they're just a little too thick. Also, love the onion rings.
Food is generally okay, the fries are terrible but you don't come for the fries... You come for the shakes! (Which are obviously fantastic) Service is usually good, they do the best they can despite the floods of people.
Expensive and there ingredients the automatically put on is frustrating when people don't like certain ingredients and your not asked if those ingredients are ok
Awesome place, the team there has really left a legacy as to what a good restaurant should be.
On February 20,2019 my husband and I wanted a treat..so thought we'd stop at Peter's. We were very diappointed in the food that use to be so good! We ordered 4 double cheeseburger s fries, onion rings and three shakes..totall in over 50.00 . The burgers and shakes were good but the fries must have been on a warmer as they were hard and horrible same for the rings...Very disappointed in this meal.

Maybe I'm getting older but it doesn't seem as good as I remember
Nice picnic table area with plenty of space between tables.
Tradition, flavour, quality. I love things that don't change and apparently Peters' hasn't since 1962.
