Great food, great milkshakes too. As others have mentioned, the single burgers are actually double burgers, and the small fries are really enough for two or three people.

For sheer bulk of burger n fries it can't be beat. Milkshakes are the bomb!

Love the size of the burgers & fries, and the variety of flavors that are available for the shakes is fantastic. The shakes and food here has always been great. Staff has always been very easy to deal with.

It would be 5 stars. I have loved Peter's my whole life. But they refuse to bring in the option for an actual veggie or vegan burger that isnt just lettuce, sauce and bread for $5. Get on the bandwagon people! Times are changing! The beyond burger is booming!

Very popular. Expect long line ups. Serving size is huge so order accordingly. Everything they serve is delicious.

Milkshakes are off the charts delicious! Fries are a massive serving. Burgers are good. Not great, just good. A Calgary landmark.

This place has the absolute best milkshakes! I always stop here when I'm in Calgary. Their onion rings and fries are really good, but be warned that the serving sizes are huge! Even the smalls.

Come here way to much to not give this place a high five. Back when I was working downtown me and a few coworkers would drive up almost every lunch ( personally just a shake, burger and onion rings). Good memories peters and hopefully a ton more to come.

Milk shake & Icecreams are very very nice. Some even like Burgers.

Been going to this place all my life. My Dad took me here as a child now I take my kids! Great food and friendly service.

We always try to stop here when driving through town. the servings of fries and onion rings are huge!

Burgers are good, I personally don't like the BBQ sauce they put on them because its too messy.

Wished there were more safety and social distancing on the outside area but the food is fine

I do not understand the hype for this place, great milkshakes yes. A ridiculous amount of choices but the food is GOD AWFUL. Reminds me of the patties you get a superstore in the frozen section just covered in bbq sauce and thrown on a bun.

Please go have a five guys, smash burger, Clive burger, even a A&W burger...

I ordered the double cheeseburger with extra sauce. The burger was really hot and lots of sauce tasted great. Peter's can make the best burger in this city.

I have ate at Peter's in Calgary for years until the last 10yrs.
I just ate at the one in RedDeer and Peter's has gone from the best burgers to the worst burgers ever. Even McDonalds burgers are a whole ton better then the poorest excuse for a burger that I just paid way to much money for at Peter's.
Never again.
To bad they took their dad's hand built reputation/empire and trashed it.

The straws aren't thick enough for how thick the milkshakes are which makes drinking them difficult. They're delicious, but better straws would make them better.

A YYC classic. Food is decent but the milkshakes are outstanding. Worth it for the shakes alone.

The best burgers and fries in the city. Eat in the car, or on picnic tables.

Love the onion rings and rootbeer shake... However the burgers have dropped in quality... this use to have this nostalgic feel to it, however they lost it. They no longer total your order on the side of the box. No more smiles from the staff, more of take your food and get out of my face type attitude. They need to take a lesson from fatburger here in BC

Good burger and shake. 1 suggestion, A thicker straw for the milkshakes. I think my lungs collapsed trying to get something outa there.

Always awesome! Just like the 70's goodness I remember Double cheeseburger, onion rings, milkshake. Yuuuusssssss. Om nom nom. Ps. Don't block the vehicle exit while you wait in line, only vehicle entrance is eastbound on 16th Ave. Take the time to drive out and I to the parking lot to eat at the picnic tables. They say don't feed the birds but....

I love Peters' milkshakes! They're super thick and delicious. My favorite is either blackberry/blueberry + strawberry + banana. The fries and burgers are old-school, and delicious also. Oh and don't order the family size fries unless you (and like 12 of your best friends) are starving. It's massive!

Peters has a VEGGIE BURGER and it tastes awesome. Make sure to add the extra and FREE toppings (tomato, pickles, fried onions, and lettuce!)

I have only visited here twice and tried different flavours of the milkshakes they have. The milkshakes are delicious. Given the quality and quantity of the milkshake, it is very well priced.

Both the times they were pretty busy and thus takes a bit to get the order done but the milkshakes are worth it.

I enjoyed Peter's when the menu was fresh meat and non frozen fries. I would have given it a 10, now I give it a 3 and that's genous.

People talk much of this place, went yesterday. line up very very long, burger was very good but my fries were hard and almost not taste cooked

Love the portion sizes. Milkshake needed some time to melt before drinking. Could also ask for a spoon to go with it. Had a hotdog. Was excellent. Will definitely return someday. Prices are mid range.

As an import to Calgary, I had to try the local hype for Peter's milkshakes... and now I'm hooked! Try any berry flavour + caramel or vanilla, it's amazing! Great place to meet friends, sit out at the picnic tables in a long summer evening.

This place is a Calgary institution, and is very popular on nice days. The service is a bit slow, and the food is pretty average (except for the milkshakes!), but the best feature is the nice picnic tables in the back, where they have good shade and are perfect to relax on a hot day.

In recent years the quality of their food (minus their onion rings) has sunk really low. Their milkshakes however remain as good as ever

A staple in Calgary and I visit every time. Their milkshakes are top notch. Burgers and fries are OK. Love visiting and look forward to it every time I'm in town.
