Great food, service with a smile. We ordered from the window rather than the drive thru, seemed to be faster.

Classic drive in food with the most amazing milk shakes you've ever had. The family size fries will feed a small army or possibly even several families. Yummy food that doesn't skimp on portions or quality.

My only suggestion would be to have combo pricing, get a burger, drink and a small portion of fries for about $10.

Because sometimes you dont need a giant box of fries.

Calgary classic. Super thick & creamy milkshakes with lots of flavour options. Overall, food lacks basic seasoning. Burger patties are an odd indiscernible flavour - T liked them, but I didn t. (2.5/5)

Peter's Drive In has gone to h*ll in a hand basket. I've been going since I was a kid in the late 60's and it was THE place in the entire city for a good burger, fries and milkshakes. Went there for supper tonight and couldn't believe the crap we were served. The fries were horrible !!! I took one look and said "WTH ? These aren't Peter's fries !!" They were these overcooked, weezened up, mooshy little shoestring fries that were even skinnier than McDonalds and I'm not kidding !! The burger was a monumental disappointment too. The sauce was always their biggest asset AND, you used to have to have at least 5-6 napkins to eat that burger ... not today. I used ONE !! Had to look for the sauce. The bun was horrible, not fresh at all. I'm never ever never going back there. Peter's Drive In ... you lose !! Even McDonalds has you beat now and what's that tell you ? It's a sad sad thing. Judging by the many other negative comments so similar to mine I think you new owners need to smarten up and get Peter's back to what it was and should be. P.S. The hassle to get in there now is also making it not worth the grief to go anyway ...

Been coming here since I was a kid and have never had a bad experience. Love the wide range of milkshake flavors and thickness of the milkshake. The food is good aswell. Wish they had more locations

Good milkshakes, good fries n onion rings, burgers are okay. Great place to come on a nice sunny day to grab your choice of milkshake, and you can have up to 3 flavours in one :)

Milkshakes are great. A little over priced and very busy during summer. Parking is terrible and drive through gets very congested.

Great place to go! Very quick service, and very tasty burgers, and extremely flavourful milkshakes, although it helps if you let them melt just a bit so that it's easier to drink. Staff is very kind and efficient.

Always a quick drive thru line and one of a kind onion rings! Lots of milkshake option aswell.

Always great food, and awesome milkshakes. Don't forget to ask for fried onion on your burger. They also do a great job with onion rings and decent poutine.

Just make sure to leave lots of time, because it gets busy!

Well, I don t know it s that awesome like people said yeah, you have to try Peter! The food is ok. It s more an experience for us to visit Peter, the old fashioned drive in is kind of awesome! We enjoy the experience and more than their food.

I ordered a single burger, and I got 1.5 burger! I m not complaining lol but it s just funny to me. The triple burger isn t that big as my boyfriend imagine, it will be nice if he have 3 cheeses on his triple cheeseburger! Onion ring is oily and 1/3 of the onion ring doesn t have the onion instead, that s suck.

Will not visit here again for their burger, but would like to try their milkshake next summer.

Great food, the milkshakes are awesome. Sometimes local car groups like to visit here, like Jeeps and Toyotas, and I think I've seen classics group up here.

New to town, passed by this establisment and was drawn in by the huge lineup. Ordered two burgers sadly they were the worst I have ever had. The patties remind me of the cheapest thin frozen patties flash grilled no juiceness and smelling of cheapness. The only good thing about this drive inn is that they provide garbages close enough to where you eat so that the food can be thrown away conveniently once you realize you've been had. Absolutely no idea why there is such a line up. Pete, just use fresh ground beef to make your burgers and I am sure you will never get anymore complaints!

A straightforward menu, but that's what makes it great. Burgers and shakes. Still, the only place i have been where fries don't automatically come with the burger.

A must to visit while in Calgary. Huge shakes and yummy drive in food at a decent price. Don't come here expecting some sort of customer service though.

We always stop here when visiting Calgary. I will grab a burger and milkshake (so many choices) it can make your head spin however after all the humming and haaing I usually keep it pretty basic and go with blueberry almost like a panic decision.

I had the eggnog milkshake, it was really good! Just like drinking eggnog but waaaaay thicker! Also had small fries which were enough for 2 people, easy. They were fresh and tasty. My only complaint is the veggie burger. It was overcooked and not outstanding. Service was normal. I would return!

Hands down one of the best burger joints in Calgary with great tasting milk shakes too.

The food was so delicious. You can see the staff as they make the orders. Clean place. The smoothies were also really good and had a thick consistency. The fries almost tasted like homemade fries. Even when you order small fries and small drink they give big portions so it s quite filling and sufficient. They had a huge car lineup so I ordered at the window. I didn t have to wait long for my order and I felt the car lineup moved pretty fast as well. The prices are reasonable for what you get. I look forward to passing by again.

Great milk shakes with many flavour offerings. Too bad I already had dinner and was just here for a snack (onion rings). I will go back for burgers next time.

A unique, local franchise that is selling out but not a sell out. Their prices are reasonable and the grinds are tasty! Boy, what a shake and burger. Definitely a must try experience while in Calgary. It's the local digs!

Amazing burgers- its like barbeque year round! And they have milkshakes you CANNOT go without if you are making the trip from out of town (namely the 2hr drive from Lethbridge).

Peters' is a Calgary institution. The burgers have a unique flavour I love, the fries sizes of small and large are "feeds a group of three" and "feeds a mob" respectively, and of course the milkshakes are awesome. You shouldn't need a review to go here, but if you do, here's the review telling you to go.

One of the best veggie burgers in the business. Been here twice now and food is just amazing as well as the customer service. Unlimited options for shakes. The only con is the line up for the drive through. But the wait is worth.
