A great once and a while treat.... however, service seems to have gone way down, two of us got burgers and both of them were not at all to our order, falling apart, and soaked with sauce that shouldn'thave even been there. I was especially upset to see relish and mustard on my burger neither of which I can eat and I specifically stated that numerous times and both the cashier and the order taker said all the toppings back, seems they need a different labeling system rather than the chicken scratch they are currently using to label food within their kitchen.

This was the first time I actually here waiting. Don't see how it's so popular. Food not as good as I thought. I had ordered an onion ring ONLY, it took 30 mins. Waiting time was ridiculous, look into the kitchen, staffs just like no heads chicken running around but nothing got done. Everyone was waiting for deep fried food and only one person is working with the deep Fryer. Other staffs were wondering around do nothing. I would not go there again.

Always The Best Food!!!...And Great Calgarians Work There! I spend my summers in Calgary & always visit Peter's Drive-In to have the cheeseburger, fries, onion rings with a licorice milkshake - always SO good! This year I wanted to buy a few of the exclusive "Peters" tshirts to take back as gifts to family & friends in Thailand. Two staff members, Joanne & Cora, did everything within their means to get me the colours/sizes I needed! I very much appreciate all they did! Real 'Calgary Style' Customer Service ... thxxx

Hmmm....milkshakes. We went for a little treat and everyone loved their milkshake. They put the right amount each ingredient to create a great shake. Highly recommend stopping when you're in the area.

Peter's is an experience you must have in Calgary, but don't expect much from the food. Grab a milkshake and call it a day. If you must, try the onion rings. Definitely stay clear of the fries.

I think their burger sauce may have some class a ingredients because it was phenomenal. Skip the restaurant you were thinking of going to and go here instead. Long queue but worth it it it was twice as big! Peters' get more locations!

Really more sloppy food than I remember, but I still like it. Milkshakes and ice-cream have not changed at all. I kind of wish there was some more training on food assembly so a burger doesn't look like chili when it comes to you.

A staple of Calgary's history.Been around since 1964 same location. Essentially have always gone there for their shakes when I was in town to visit. Pretty hard to find anywhere else that has these types of flavours.BANANA, BLACKBERRY, More

I just read on Facebook the unprofessional and rude attitude towards customers with hijabs. Were the employees told to act this way ???
Perhaps they don't need to make anymore money from anyone.... this is Canada NOT TRUMP COUNTRY!!!

I have eaten and loved Peter's drive in for over 30 years. When it was sold to new management I was concerned. Today was the first time in years I ate there. Thoroughly disgusted. My son and I waited 45 minutes at the window for our food. ONE sip of their "classic" milkshake told me something was very different. Why? Because it was warm. It was not made with ice cream. It was a foamy chemical concoction. Disgusting! The burger was flavorless and had many fillers. My intestines informed me of this within an hour. Disgusting!!!!

Peters' Drive-In is Calgary staple. Fantastic food and a great place to stop with your family for a picnic. It's a shame that the speed of service has diminished to the point that it takes 40 mins just to get thru the drive thru. What's sad is I'm sure the original owner would be turning in his grave if he saw the pace that the current employees are working at today.

I loved it. However, for those who are going there for the first time, stuff should explain where to get order and what to do next since it was confusing for us. Parking is a little small and packed.

Pshhh...it's nothing fancy. Their milkshakes bring all the boys to the yard but other then that it's your regular back yard BBQ burger. But, you will be full and have left overs. Large portions, large bill, but a staple every passerby should try.

So I've been coming here since I was a babe, and the only thing that has noticeably changed are the fries (which I miss the previous fries) and the fact that you can pay debit now! I love the thick, delicious, straw gets stuck to the roof of your mouth because it's so hard to suck milkshakes!! Ugh, caramel is my fav, but they are all amazing! and burgers are delicious with the Peter's sauce and all.the fixings. It may be that I love it because it's good or perhaps because I grew up on them but this place brings back good memories each time.

The most overrated restaurant in Calgary. The burgers are skimpy like a McDonald's cheeseburger. And why is there one and a half patties? Weird.
And NO BACON?!?!? What kind of a 'burger joint' doesn't have bacon?
I think calgarians just are not aware of what a burger joint can really be. Nothing compared to the many in Winnipeg for instance. Red Top, George's etc..... If you're ever in Winnipeg that is.
The fries we had were also of poor quality and taste.
I will say the milkshake choices were many and were tasty.
