Prices are great, food is good, line ups are usually pretty long, but taking your order is fast. Getting your order can take a bit though. You'll often be done your drink before you get your food. It's drive through only, no place to sit and eat.

Milkshakes are DELICIOUS!!!

Milkshakes are DELICIOUS!!!
Just wish I could say that about the food.
The fries were HARD, not crispy or fresh, but hard and dry and stale.
The cheese hotdogs was also dry and overdone, not juicy at all, and slathered in way too much ketchup.
I love the milkshakes but I don't believe I'll be getting food there again.
26$ and change was just too much to pay for the quality of food unfortunately.
It's a shame because I love what Peters represents and the nostalgia that comes along with places like this, certainly a dying breed.

A great places for burgers, shakes, & fries, please! Always came here whenever the opportunity arose, whether I walked by myself from SAIT s C-Train station, or caught a ride with friends, it s always worth the trip!

Historic. Milkshakes are loaded with Sugar, tooooo sweet!!! Staff is friendly. Line up for drive thru can sometimes drag to the main street, a lot of fun tho. There's a small park with tables on the other side by the parking, you can always pick up your order and go eat there.

Peter's Drive-In is extremely popular and for good reason. I think their most popular menu items are their milkshakes. There are a lot of flavours and they let you mix several flavours as well. Their milkshakes are very thick and remain so for a long time too. I think their burgers and fries used to be better because now they seem a little lower quality than they were a while back, but they're still enjoyable to eat. Peter's is usually very busy, both the drive-thru and the front windows.

Went there once, so greasy it's gross. Also there a public nuisance. The drive through line is usually blocking the highway and causing undue traffic problems. Get you act together and put up a sign that prohibits people waiting on roadway..

Who doesn t love Peter s? It s like an institution. Great milk shakes. Huge fries and onion ring servings. The burgers are just okay, but they are kind of like a taste of your childhood so it makes them better.

40 minute wait at take out. Drive home and discover was given messed up order. Terrible food. You are going to pay more at Peters than the luxury burger place in Bridgeland. Next time go there instead.

Worst Fast Food in the city! Ever since moving to Calgary about a year ago, people have been telling me to try Peter's Drive-in. After some time, I gave it a shot, not once but twice just so that I give them a chance to redeem themselves. Twice I ordered the same food: Double cheeseburger with a poutine and a chocolate milkshake. The fries in the poutine were sliced too thin and were saggy, the gravy wasn't thick at all and it had practically no cheese, whatever cheese they put was on the corners of the box. It tasted so awful that I stopped eating almost as soon as I started. I grabbed the burger and it was just as bad. The bun was all fluff and no bread, it was over toasted and it seems like the cheese on it melted and solidified ages ago. The meat itself was dry and tasteless and to mask it, it was dipped in some sauce that seems to be boiled Ketchup with water. This was by far the worst burger I had ever eaten. The only good thing they have is the milkshake but even then, I tend to feel sick after drinking one. I gave them 2 chances and I was disappointed on each occasion. Unless you have severely low culinary standards, avoid this place. Even McDonald's offers better food.

Wow, what an incredible value! We stopped in while on vacation and were very impressed with the quality and price of the food. That they don't charge an arm and a leg for making it with the ingredients you want is very much appreciated. Definitely try the milkshakes and get creative with the flavorings!

Staff look like they actually enjoy their work and the comraderie. And though the food is, well, generic fast food, this place is a Calgary icon and the variety of shakes and sundaes are unparalleled amongst fast food joints. A great place to hang with friends or get a quick bite.

A classic drive-in that s worth a try. The food isn t amazing per se, but the experience and the establishment is what makes this place a staple for many locals and visitors alike. The burgers are filling and tasty, and order the onion rings and NOT the fries! If you can, definitely try to save space for their deliciously thick milkshakes (or share it with someone) or their chocolate dipped cones aren t too bad either. Do expect long lines on nice days, summer days, and especially now during the pandemic since the walk up window is closed for ordering (the back up of cars could be a few blocks down onto the main road). Otherwise during normal times the lines are not too bad since they have a decent sized parking lot for those who want to walk up and lots of picnic tables to hang out and eat outside.

I can't really say anything bad about Peter's. It's a calgary staple. Their food isn't anything to write home about but it's good. The milkshakes, however, are to die for. Anytime I'm driving past I have to stop. Their milkshakes are probably some of the best you can get.

Is good. It's a Calgary institution. It's changed. Quality has gone up and down over the years.

As some with celiac disease, it's nice to know I can have anything except hotdogs and onion rings.

They wrap burgers in salad if you ask. They don't cross contaminate their fryers and the Shakes don't make me sick either.

Is it a greasy drive through? Yeah.
Is it the same as it was when we were kids? No.
Is it still good? Yeah, the food is less greasy than it used to be, and the price for those shakes is spot on.

For one way over priced ! And the staff are so cranky.
The food is gross ! Thin burgers ! They don t know how to make the burger so the cheese melts they also have no flavour !
The milk shakes are way to thick you need a spoon and have no flavour !
Onion rings were good but a&w are better

Their milkshakes are good. Dont mind their burgers but they are the kind that need to be eaten fresh and hot. Dont let them sit or they just drop in quality quickly. Tried a poutine here a while back and really did not taist right at all.
