Our family had a great day out at the zoo. We brought our own cart and found that everywhere was easily accessible. You can also hire one for the day. Great attractions and animals all look well and healthy.

One of our family favourite places to go. Lots of variety of different animals, and some popular discord too; elephants, tigers, meerkats, lemurs, orangutans, ... Only gets 4 stars from me as I've been lucky enough to visit world class zoos overseas. Also the food is overpriced and the offerings are limited. There's a good gift / souvenir shop though.

Fantastic time. A lot of fun. To make visiting the animals a great experience they seem to be cared for so beautifully. Snacks and toilets around the walkways. Great cafe. Beautiful lawns available if you want to take a picnic. One issue. It is quite expensive for five people but fully understand why.

Great day out for the whole family with so many animals to see. It's a little sad to see that a couple of the animals have very small enclosures (the tiger in particular, like seriously? It can't even run around) but overall it's an awesome day out. Be careful with parking though - there isn't much of it.

A great day out! The park like surrounds and almost sub tropical feel of the meandering walkways lead you to exciting discoveries at every turn. Hard to believe that you are in the middle of South Perth. Wonderful collections of animals, birds and reptiles, looked after by caring and knowledgeable stall. Don't miss it!

Awesome day with my beautiful granddaughters! In early so few animals still warming up but found our way around easily, fabulous animal enclosures, clear and informative signage and helpful staff. Ice cream vending machine tricky to use. Plenty of rest/play areas great finish with ride on delightful carousel.

I love Perth Zoo. It is one of my most favourite places in Perth. If you haven't been to the zoo recently, you are missing out. It is a place for everyone of all ages. The Animals are cared for by world class personnel and have world leading facilites. The habitats are beautifully maintained. Trees dominate the spaces making it a cool and comfortable place to move around. Thank you Perth Zoo!

The Perth zoo wow where can i start hmm well how about from the beginning the Perth zoo entrance gate is usually packed at the beginning of the day with family s and their kids the tickets are reasonably cheep ok once you get in to the zoo you want to find a place to set up a picnic specially if you have kids now if you bring your kids with you tell them where to meet you if they get lost for example if you loose them near the lion cage tell them to meet up at a land mark that sands out like a post or a map diagram jokes aside if you loose them near the lions cage there is a good chance you wont find them if you catch my drift well not really the zoo is very safe and i can assure you that it s perfectly safe to visit there also dont forget to pack a good old Australian lunch with vegiemite on bread bring lots of snacks like shapes because kids tend to get very hungry after about 30 minutes of being there remember to wear sunscreen and a hat because there is not shade 100% covering the path well that concludes Perth zoo in a not very informal way but i hope this has helped you and enjoy your visit to Perth zoo.

The joke made to do with losing your kid near the lions cage and not being able to find them was a joke and i really hope you can understand my joke please dont get offended it s a bit of light/dark hearted humour.

Great experience. Awesome for kids. Great picnic spot. Its so easy to spend time here. Good variety of wild animals categorized according to there location in the globe. Nice cafe and plenty of water fountains and toilets. Tickets are a bit expensive for adults. They should not charge anything extra for other shows..but they do unfortunately. Must visit, open 365 days but closing times may vary.

Entry should be free. Been there today and couldn t see Rhino, Lion and many other species as their habitat were being cleaned. Just let people know at the entry so they can decide whether getting in or not. 31AUD not well spent at all! Very disappointed not having the information before paying the entry fee.

Conveniently located. Walkways are kids friendly with many close up animal viewing stations. The animals are well fed and actively moving around. They seem to be happy here. Food options in restaurant are rather limited though. Overall a good option for kids day out.

Amazingly convenient location, wonderful selection of species, meerkats, sun bears, rhinos, tigers, jabiru and crocodiles. Superb breeding programs and wonderful tree filled gardens connecting all. A must see.

Had so much fun visiting Perth zoo. Loved the elephant exhibit and presentation they put on. The zoo is small enough to walk around and big enough to fill your day :)
Had a great time and can't wait to visit again!

Nice zoo. Large enough to spend a few hours there if you like to hang out. The meetings planned with zoo workers are interesting. They give us information about the animals of the moment. On the other hand, these "mini conferences" are planned at half-hours but at the 4 corners of the zoo. Waste of time. Would be interesting to have a better organized circuit without having to go through the same places. In addition directions on the zoo circuit could be improved. We get lost a bit
