It would be nice if they listen to the problem before they give a solution. Extremely pushy and not very helpful. Took way too long with my car. If it wasn't the closest place I wouldn't have even went here. Most likely won't be back

I ve been a happy and loyal customer for exactly 20 years, ever since getting my first BMW at Perillo at age 16. It s the kind of establishment that treats you like family and provides excellent customer service! Many of my family members are also Perillo BMW customers! We have never been dissatisfied with our experiences.

Come in on Sat 3:30pm. Spent 40min on a waiting sofas. All sales are busy, no one bother even to grab my name and put it on the list, asked 3 times when someone can check me out, no ETA was given. No customer service whatsoever. Left 4:10pm with absolutely nothing, shocked, waisted 40min of my precious weekend time. Be aware.

I had an excellent experience at Perillo BMW. I set up an appointment with Jason Neagu and he was there waiting for me when I got to the dealership. He is very professional and easygoing. There was no pressure at all. We went for the test drive and had a nice conversation. He gave me a very good deal on the car. I bought it that day. The price's at Perillo are fantastic! My brother had purchased a car there 2 weeks prior. I would definitely go back for another car in the future.

I had an exceptional experience with Perillo BMW. My sales professional that I dealt with was Jason Goetz, and I was incredibly impressed by his professionalism, vehicle knowledge, and commendable turnaround time when it came to providing me with feedback and answers. I found a vehicle and made a last-minute decision to fly in from out of state and drive it home the next day. What could have been a stressful and complicated process was seamless and enjoyable. Everything went smoothly and I couldn't be happier with my decision to choose Perillo. My only comment as far as improving the experience would be that the vehicle specialist/Genius should not have been on his phone the entire time I test drove--seemed a tad unprofessional. Overall, however, I would highly recommend. Thank you!

A lot of long time employees. That situation speaks to how the dealship is run in my opinion.

I personally worked with Jason G. for my second BMW purchase with him. He was professional and very low pressure. Easy to communicate with and transparent. Met the owner Joe Perillo on the sales floor. He was very kind and made my deal even sweeter.

Service department can be challenging at times but the sales process was easy and I can't say that too often in the car business.

Highly recommend.

Just an appalling dealership. Twice I've gone in and they've told me they can't find anything wrong with my car, and I have had to literally open the hood and point out the problem to them. The last time they forgot to screw in the splash guard under my car and it came off on the freeway. I swore then that i would never take my car to them again. Now I drive all the way up to Fields, and the difference in service in night and day.

I had the best experience working with Vanessa at Perillo BMW. We worked a deal entirely through email on my 2019 X3 as I live 3 hours away from Chicago. She was very honest and attentive to my needs which allowed the purchase of my vehicle to be quick and easy. I would recommend Vanessa in a heartbeat to anyone needing to purchase a vehicle from Perillo. As for the dealership itself, everyone was so inviting and friendly. The finance lady was amazing! I'm sorry I can't remember her name right now but she was upfront and efficient at her job. I was really impressed with Perillo BMW. It was definitely worth the 3 hour drive. Thank you Vanessa for being amazing and finding my dream vehicle!

I wanted a luxury car but had no car history. I stopped by Perillo first time, and Jason Neagu helped me get 4 series coupe within a day with an easy application. Within 5 month I came back and Jason helped me switch to a brand new 840 convertible. Again, application & approval process was very easy - all in a day & I picked up my new 8 series. Very happy with my purchase and especially with help from Jason. Will come back and purchase from Jason again! 5 stars

I purchased my used BMW X3 used in August of 2019 ...

I purchased my used BMW X3 used in August of 2019 (my first luxury car). At the time, it had 11k miles. At 20k miles, it was due for an oil change. I took it to the dealer to have the oil change completed. By the end of my oil change visit I was charged $1,545 This included a 10% discount because I was surprised that a car with 20K miles would need so much work.

The repairman indicated I needed 2 new tires. When I asked if I could take the car to Costco, he said I couldn t drive the vehicle due to it being unsafe to drive with the current tires. Needless to say, I was sold 2 new front tires. Unfortunately, one of the two tires was in fact not new and had a previous hole and plug in the tire. Sadly, I was sold a used tire.

I have made multiple attempts to reach BMW and even attempted to contact the sales rep. No one from BMW has responded to my calls. If I get resolution, I will post an update on this review. Please use caution when working with these people to make sure the parts they install are new!

The thing that scares me most is that I could have been in an accident because of the new tire. This could have ended much worse. Likely, I will not be returning. I am including pictures of the tire (note the tread) and the repair receipt that includes the $765.53 charge for the tires.

He did not try to sell us a car but rather counseled us on the best vehicle to fit our needs. Marco took time to understand what we wanted and did his best to point us in the right direction. The guy I worked with is named Eddy. They ran two credit inquiries and one was approved for the finance. Then they wanted a valid licence and we said we have to wait for the BMV to get a new one. Then they said they're gonna wait but sold the car to a new customer. Very disappointed. They didn't even told me that they sold the car to a new customer. I later talked to another person named Vanessa and she was good.

This was one of the best experiences at a dealership so far.
Extraordinary.
I scheduled a test drive a few days ago with Dawn.
Unfortunately, I got caught up at work, and so I was about an hour late to the appointment.
One of their client advisors, Martin, greeted me with a smile and completely disregarded my tardiness.
He said it was completely understandable and proceeded to get to know me and was interested in knowing how he could help make my experience a positive one.
...he didn't try to sell me the car I test drove. No mind tricks. No aggressiveness. He showed it to me, I drove it, we talked a bit about it, and that was it.
Didn't force anything whatsoever.
It felt so refreshing that I felt like buying it right then and there, and if I had the money for it, I would've.
If anyone is interested in a BMW at this dealership, ask for Martin and/or Dawn, they'll take care of you.

I bought a BMW X5 at Perillo BMW in Chicago. The branch is clean and nice, and the staffs there are very approachable and attentive. The car dealer that helped us is Jason Neagu. He is very nice, trustful and knowledgeable about the cars that we are interested in. He did his best jobs in a way that got us the best offer in terms of lease price and car specs. I am very satisfied with the car itself (e.g., design, specs) as well as the service that I received at the branch. If you have a plan to get a BMW car around Chicago, you should check the Perillo BMW branch. If you want a trustful and nice person who can help you get a car, I highly recommend Jason Neagu at the branch!

If i can leave less than 1 star i will. So i went to this dealer per the advice of a friend who had decent experience with them, i already have 2 cars and i was interested in getting a 2017 X3 or a 3 series especially that i heard that at this time of the year i can get a good deal. I drove all the way from West Dundee in bad traffic to meet a salesman called Ken, who is seriously needs to be relocated to any department that does not deal with customers. first i am not the kind of person who likes to bargain my time is valuable , i want to hear offers and numbers and i'll choose, we had a 10-15 min at most discussion and i gave him an average of my limit which is in the 500s which he saw reasonable,he knew before meeting him from my friend that i want to trade in my car , and he looked it up by its VIN#. Then he physically went to see my car which is a fully loaded 2015 Nissan Murano- in a very good shape- and he started to downgrade my car and then - out of no where- he started saying " you are in the wrong dealer, and looking for the wrong car you should look somewhere else i do not want to offend you but the 500s wont get you anything " he did not offer me the prices of any of the other BMWs as the 3 series or 2 series, and even did not try to give convince me to increase my range .needless to say i'm a doctor and i can literally afford any car he has. This was the most humiliating experience i ever had in a dealer, i even called BMW USA and filed a complaint , if you offer good cars you should as well offer good customer service.

I came to buy my wife the 2019 X3 M40i. I was greeted by a salesman Marco we hit it off right away with a lot in common. I can absolutely 100% say if it wasn't for Marco I would have purchased an SUV I found elsewhere, I went back because I wanted Marco to get the sale. Marco is a very smart young man with a good formal education in Finance. He really went to bat for me and got a price I was extremely happy with. I worked with Alan S. to purchase my vehicle and have had it serviced at Perillo as well. I'm sure something could go wrong with the car, but it's hard for me to fault that on the dealership. I've had nothing but good service here.

Fantastic people and Great Service! I am from Wisconsin and I went to Chicago to drop by cousins on Friday night in my loving BMW car. During the last stretch of the final destination, there was some pop up message (engine malfunction) on the screen and noticed some wired vibrations in my drive. I am supposed to go back to Madison on the same night, but due to this malfunction message I stayed back and thought of taking my car to the nearest BMW dealer for checkup. Morning at 9:30am I drove my car to Perillo and met a guy by name Domingo. I have explained the situation and he went inside to bring a technician. Though they have short staff because of weekend, he came back with technician Brindian. The technician was so helpful by looking at the car and he gave me a signal saying that it's safe to drive the car. I am really impressed with their wonderful service even without any prior appointment on a weekend!
Thank you so much Domingo and Bridian. Keep up the good work!

Just rude and everyone I spoke to had poor customer service skills. This includes whoever manages the phone, parts dept. and service dept. There is no incentive for someone who has a warrenty to get their vehicle serviced here because they don't offer a loaner vehicle while your car is being serviced.

My experience with Perillo was simply fantastic. I am from Connecticut and saw the car and loved it it was a BMW M3 conv, called and spoke to Shawn and he was a great and helped me out with everything he could and got it done for me. The gold medal goes to Connie though, what a spectacular customer service. Helped me with literally everything i needed, was very quick on responding the emails and even recommended a good restaurant for us to eat at. I would definitely recommend Perillo to anyone who is looking not only for a great BMW but for an outstanding customer service. Keep it up guys

Perillo BMW has exceeded our expectations for a full service BMW dealership. We purchase our cars from them but usually go to Knauz in Lake Forest since it's closer to home. Just recently we went to Knauz for an oil change and wound up with an almost $3,000 bill for service which included four new tires??? Knauz had to return our car to us with a malfunctioning tire pressure sensor and couldn't guarantee if we paid for new sensors that they would actually work? Anyway, we then took the car back to Perillo. They have real pro's working in the service department, especially Cesar Marin and also Darren. It's a more complicated story but basically, they fixed the problem that Knauz couldn't with little money out of our pocket. We had a loaner from both dealerships. Perillo actually drove a loaner out to us, and picked it up. They didn't question how full the gas tank was. Knauz actually billed our credit card for $5.25 because when we dropped off the vehicle it was maybe a gallon shy of full. A little insulting after the fiasco we had just been through with them. Bottom line is we will continue buying our cars from Perillo but also have the serviced them there in the future.

I wish I could give them fewer than one star. It all started when I brought in my 7 Series to get looked at by the service department. Since they were busy, I had to set an appointment. While waiting to set the appointment, I asked to purchase a keychain priced at $15 with the price tag right on it. When they went to ring it up, they said "Oh, actually it is $22." Irritated by the arbitrary price increase, I set my service appointment that the consultant told me would cost $185 for the diagnostic and I left. When I came back for the service, the consultant said "Well your diagnosis will be $500." I told him to give me my keys - that I was leaving. As I was on my way out, he stopped me and said "Wait wait wait! The manager says it's okay! That we will do it for $185!" Having already taken the day off work, I agreed. Then the consultant said "We won't be able to get to it today though and we don't have any loaners. I asked what the purpose of the appointment was and the consultant just kind of shrugged. I explained that I made the appointme t and took the day off work and that I lived way on the South Side of Chicago and he was pretty much like "Oh well. Tough luck." Complete waste of my time from an organization of grifting scheisters.

What an awesome experience dealing with Perillo BM...

What an awesome experience dealing with Perillo BMW. I found the car online and did all transactions via phone and e-mail. We then drove 830 miles from NY to trade in my car and get a CPO 3 series wagon. Peter was awesome and was very responsive to any communication. Sebastian helped us with all financial aspects of the sale and we literally had to just sign the paperwork that was ready for us upon arrival. We were going to return to NY without any sightseeing, but Sebastian convinced us to at least see Millennium Park. Peter got Max to take us there. Those three guys were just great. With temps in the 60's and blue sky, we could not have wished for a better day to walk around Chicago on a February day. Upon return from our little sightseeing tour we were informed of an additional rebate that had already been applied by Sebastian. Truly a wonderful place to work with. Would recommend to anyone. THANK YOU.

Perillo BMW is the worst dealership I have ever encountered in the past 15 years of owning BMWs. 4 years ago I visited the dealership to inquire about financing a 750xi and the sales person never called me back to provide the information! I purchased my 750 from another dealership. This year I was planning to purchase a cpo X5 and expressed interest in a vehicle and the assistant manager never returned my email or answered my questions. Lol, oh well I just purchased a x5m package from another dealership. I will never in the future consider this dealership. You lost my business. Ownership needs to look in the mirror!!!! If you want to be treated poorly go to Perillo BMW.

Did a oil change last year (2017) from this dealership, recently did my own oil change, and found that they did NOT use proper OEM branded filter(Mann Mahle etc.) and seems the seal on oil filter cap was extremely used(they probably didn't even replace it), also the oil seems very dirty for 8k miles, and they charged $110 + tax. Worst BMW dealer.

Awful experience at Perillo. Turned in my lease and was presented two options: sign a new, much more expensive lease for a worse car, or be charged over $2,000 for refurbishing my car to be resold. Avoid these criminals. Also, unless you come in a suit, expect to be wholly ignored because you re not their typical clientele . Everyone including reception just chatted amongst themselves assuming I couldn t afford to even ask a question about a car. Many other options in the area that you d be much better off at.

I usually don't write reviews but this time I had to. Went to the dealership to check on i3. I had doubts and needed more information, test drive, etc. I met with Jim. Very nice guy and not your typical salesman which I liked. After he spent with me good 1 hour or little more, I gave him my contact info. He said he will follow up with me (which is to be expected).
Never heard from the guy. Moving forward 2 weeks, I called and asked for him. He answered his cell (around 2 pm). Said he with other clients and will call me back within the hour. Never called.
I called again before they will close for the day and reached out to him again at 7 pm. He was busy again and promised to call me back that day.
Haven't heard back from him at all.

Few days after, I texted to the number they have on their website. Vanessa reached out to me after 3 hour asking how she can assist me. She apologized for not getting back to me earlier as she was at test drive. I explained how and she said, I'll check for you and get back to you asap.
She never did. I reached out to her again the next day and she apologized again and got back to me after 2 hours with the answers to my questions.

Overall, not sure how Perillo is still in business if the #1 every salesperson should have is follow-up. None of that whatsoever and it seems that it is more than one person.

Perillo, just so you know, I've decided to buy i3 after going back and forth about it, and will take my business elsewhere. If your salespersons can't follow up and get back to customers, they shouldn't be in this business. I'm sure you can agree with me on that.

Bought my car here a few years ago and had good experiences. The maintenance is ridiculous overpriced but I continued to use them for convenience. Glad to have just gotten the motivation to find a new service station. I went in today for an oil change and was horrified by the number of both staff and customers without masks or pulling them down to have noses exposed. I mentioned it to a staff member and he apologized but did not offer any solution. If you are doing what you can to protect yourself during the pandemic, avoid Perillo.
Edit: by the owners response you can also see the lack of ethics in their willingness to divulge personal information on their customers.

What a great experience. Ryan R did a fantastic job to make us have our new X6 we were looking for. He was very friendly, professional, and responsive and it was truly a pleasure to work with him. The whole process was very smooth from getting an online quote to the car delivery and we were able to get our customized car less than 3 weeks. I also want to mention that the technical guys at Perillo BMW were also very knowledgeable and they provided very detailed explanations about all the specs and car features. We are so happy with our purchase and definitely recommend Ryan to anyone who wants to have a pleasant car purchase experience.

Without a doubt, the single worst car dealer I hav...

Without a doubt, the single worst car dealer I have ever worked with. Their service department in particular is unreliable, unhelpful, and lacks any sense of urgency or attention to detail in their handling of service issues.

Simply put, the ONLY reason I bring my car (only the one on warranty) here is because the next closest BMW dealer is an hour away. I bring my old (off waranty) BMW to European American motors on Lincoln/Addison. They are phenomenal.

I can only speak on behalf of my experiences in the service department. First of all, I had a check engine light turn on and I was in separate need of assistance. One of my o2 sensors had gone bad and I needed it replaced. I called ahead and I believe someone named Karen helped me out in booking an appointment while on a road trip. I pulled the car in, Raul helped me then talked to Jimmy (Quijana) who spoke to Stefan who then let me get pretty much the first spot. I was on the road the next morning. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! I bought a 2014 BMW I3 REX with 12,000 miles in Ma...

I bought a 2014 BMW I3 REX with 12,000 miles in March, 2015 for $29K. The price was negotiated without my knowledge of this car falling under the Lemon Law. When I arrived to sign papers/pick up, I was informed that the car had been returned to the factory, and that I was receiving about a $2000 credit for factory repair (that they had already included in the above price, which is what I paid). I was told I would get an extended warranty also, due to the factory repair. I requested the EL license plates and was told I had to obtain those from the DMV, but actually REX does not qualify for EL plates (the salesman knew, I am sure). BUYER BEWARE...to trade the car in means an $8000 loss of its normal value because of the Lemon Law. I have no extended warranty according to Bill Jacobs BMW in Naperville, who said the car value is currently 8K at less than 36,000 miles. This IS where you come to get ripped off...as another reviewer mentioned. I called Joe Perillo, left a message, no return phone call. Expect nothing--because that's what you'll get. DO NOT TRUST.

Walked in and not ONE person said anything to me. Not Hello, Not do you have any questions? Absolutely nothing. They should be embarrassed. Even McDonalds employees always know to say hello first. And I wasn't even window shopping. Do yourself a favor and go to another dealership. I live in River North so this is the closest to me, it's unfortunate I will most likely have to head to the suburbs.

I brought my new BMW X3 in for a drivetrain malfunction error and worked with Alex. He called me several times throughout the day to keep me updated on the status and diagnosis of my car. I really appreciated that he kept me posted and didn't leave me wondering for a few hours. He was extremely friendly, welcoming, and made the whole process of leaving my car overnight a peice of cake. The issue was resolved quickly. I'd love to work with Alex Padalko again. Perillo has excellent customer service!

I purchased my BMW last year and absolutely love it. I can't say enough about the quality of service I've received while working with Alex Padalko. Alex has been my right hand person when it comes to questions or concerns regarding my BMW.. I can literally email him and get a response back within the hour or less. I'm a new BMW owner, so trust when I say I had many questions. Alex was beyond patient and helpful. He goes above and beyond for his clients and it is so appreciated. Alex continues to exceed my expectations and I look forward to a long relationship with Alex and Perillo BMW. Thank you for everything that you do!

Place is awful. Bad sales people who are sneaky, dirty and unprofessional. Understand they need to make money and I know that they make plenty of it but the dealership is a racket. I went in for a quote on my car for trade and they said $3,500.00 when 4 other dealerships gave me $10,000-$10,500. Insulting and moreover a waste of my time. Nestled in the gold-coast so money flows but I was ready to spend....bought from Orloff instead. Virtually same car. Ah well.

I was in the market for an X5 and found a great selection of used BMWs at Perillo!
A friend recommended I talk to Marco D.
After test driving a few X5s, I was able to negotiate a good deal on a used CPO X5!
Marco was great throughout the whole process!
He was fair, efficient, responsive and very easy to work with.
I would recommend him to others that are in the market for a new car!
