Place is nice. Its unique to be able to enjoy hukkah and your drink at the bar. Our But much like many other New York Bars, the hosts are rude!

Awesome DJs!!! Everything else is what you expect from a hookah bar, solid equipment and decent bar staff. Very lively on a Tuesday night. I went with a bunch of coworkers and we had a blast.

Delicious food, but the hookah wasn t really necessary and detracts from the food! And the service is very hands off and a little slow. We loved the mezze app (hummus, babaganoush, olives, pita), and the shrimp skewer entree was fantastic (shrimp over creamy mango chicken rice). Huge space upstairs and down, and you can get a table for two without a reservation on a weeknight if it s not right at prime dinner hour.

Great vibe, shisha, music and service. Recommend to all locals and tourists looking for a place to smoke hookah.

Horribly overrated, with not so special cocktails/food. Overpriced hookahs with poor service. Used to be more classy and consistent. Impossible to enter on a weekend night so don t even try

Great place good vibes the only thing was we didnt reserve a table and it took about 2 hours to get a sit. Other then that it was great experience and they have really good burgers ;)

I have been here a few times with coworkers/friends. I always have a good time. Drinks are good. Food is decent. Atmosphere is great.

We had a great time celebrating our birthday at Pergola. TAYLOR went above and beyond to accommodate us!! I would recommend this for all your celebrations.

Horrible staff!!! Made reservations & was only about 10 minutes late. They cancelled the restervation even though we called & they said it was okay to still walk in. Worst staff and they are not considerate towards their customers at all. Definitely unprofessional.

An upscale hookah lounge and cocktail bar. Its cocktails were ok but not outstanding.

Professionalism is a key factor for business success, and this place certainly lacks the basics. After driving and walking to them from long distance they didn t let us get in. They claimed that we must have a reservation in advance, while their website or pages don t mention the reservation requirements.

The portion of food doesn t add up to the price. I ordered 2 chicken kabobs for $24 and received 2 pieces of chicken on a stick. The corner guys kabobs are bigger n way cheaper. They must have sliced the chicken breast 10x before making my serving . This should be an appetizer as it comes with no sides, it s not enough to feed a 5 year old let alone a grown person for $24.

Their hookah is good, their food is eh and so is their service. I did like the chocolate cake though.

This spot really annoys me. Their drinks are absurdly priced ($45 for a rail double vodka soda... with no heads up about the price) and they never have room if you don't have a reservation, which book up way in advance. It does have good music and the specialty cocktails are good (also pricey), but it seems to me that most of the hype is the scene itself and not the quality of hookah, drinks, or food. The bouncers are also really iffy and enforce a dress code on seemingly random people, which is less than ideal to say the least.

We just had our 2016 Holiday Party at Pergola & it was AMAZING in all
categories. Close to all transportation; Beautifully Decorated; Service was Friendly, Accommodating and Fun; Food was Delicious from the Appetizers to Salad & Entrees, not to mention the drinks & the hookah, added a nice touch. Definitely will return.

Great ambiance, just somewhat pricey. but it's a great place to enjoy drinks, food and hookah. The music gets waayyy better as the night progresses.

This place is a hidden gem! I could have broken the plate their hummus was in just to get the rest of it! Food is spectacularly delicious!

Way too loud. Literally the loudest place I've ever been. Good sheesha/hookah, good cocktails and very average food (not a dinner place). Crowd can get a little overwhelming/unruly (even on weekdays). If you can, request seating upstairs for a better experience and to avoid the crowds!

This place was AMAZING! The food, hookah, and drinks were all incredible. I was blown away with how authentic and fresh all of their dishes were. We tried a lot of different food + dessert options on the menu and they were all a solid 10/10. BIG Shoutout to Al for the hospitality and for making us feel like family. This is definitely the SPOT!

Terrible terrible terrible!!!! Most staff have an attitude!!! And there s always an issue with getting in!!! They really think it s such a prestige spot but far from!!! Plenty of better spots!!!

I've been to this place before had a good time. This time not so much. The service was Mediocre. I've pick this place for my cousin 37th birthday. I tried to make a reservation for 6 pm was told only 4pm was available ok . Lets just say we felt rushed the Waitress brought our bday dessert before we ordered our entrees though we told her we will be having entrees. We let that go we paid the $500 bill but then decide you know what lets order more . The waitress states I have to check with the host we have reservations. The host fails to inform us before we sat down that on " Saturdays their a 2 hour limited on table service " . The manger came over useless. He's worried about customers coming in rather then the customer you have here already and spend their money and want to spend more money. Service like this is why folks stay home and Netflix and chill - seamless web . Door dash. Save your time money and energy with this place. The pits. Service just Ruined the whole Atmosphere of the place. #IsaidwhatIsaid

Delicious hookah, delicious drinks, delicious food.

The shisha is really bad, we have ordered grape mint shisha and the one they broght was watermilon, then the kept changing it for 3 times, and still it was really bad, the sweets and atmosphere was good, but for sure not recommended for shisha.

The food here is very very good! the atmosphere is great as well. The only reason i deducted a star is some of the seating can be very uncomfortable, just a box stool and the bill really adds up quickly, drinks are $15 and a meal is around $25.

This is the most obnoxious and pretentious place. They will treat you ok when they are not busy but otherwise they will treat you like you are not invited there! I was told by the server first that that was the last walk in they had. The next time I am told that there are no tables! There were over six tables that were empty! If I am spending over 200 dollars at this place they can at least have the compassion to not be so rude! It s like they are doing their customers a favor who are paying for the services!

Great Mediterranean cuisine in the heart of the city. Can get loud so don't expect a nice cozy, quite ambience.

DO NOT GO TO THIS GREEDY MONEY HUNGRY HOOKAH BAR. This restaurant ILLEGALLY puts dining demands on its customers which is beyond against the law and really just tacky. I made a reservation for Friday night for 5 people and I was told my table had to spend a minimum of 480$ and were only allowed the table for 2 hours - is that a joke??? You can t force me to spend what you want me to spend and you better believe if I m spending 500$ for dinner I m staying at my table and will not be kicked out after 2 hours. I ve already contacted the better business bureau about this spend minimum which I know is wrong considering I run several 4/5 star hotels with restaurants inside of them in NYC - I will not recommend this money hungry place to any of my hotel guests nor my friends. Disgustingly greedy.

Crappy waitresses and service. One of them completely ignored my table and sat in the other table smoking hookah with another customer. She then came around and took my menu from my hands without saying a word. I left after that.

We made a reservation for my friends birthday and when we got there they said they didn t have our names down?? My friend who made the reservation even called the night before AND the day of to confirm our table and all we got is a yes you re set sir only to come and find out they didn t even put us in. It was very disappointing especially being a group of 10 people where else would we go ? The service at pergola is very bad. The restaurant did find us a table at ANOTHER sister restaurant but it was very inconvenient overall for paying for an uber to get to the other location and wasting 2 hours of the night (got there at 8 didn t get to other place until 10). I wish this place was more organized and I wish they at LEAST offered to pay for our cabs to the other location since it was a fault on their end. Lastly, I will not be coming to Pergola ever again and I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone, there s plenty of other restaurants to go eat and chill in in NYC but this is not one.

Food was on point, the drinks and service even more so. Can't wait for the Covid shenanigans to be over for the full experience

What an amazing place. We had the time of our life with the great ambience, friendly staff and hukka. Cocktails are also good! New York epitome! Cheers and fixed this for every birthday!

Hostess and Service was worse than mediocre ... Requested a corner table upstairs since there was a party downstairs - the hostess purposely did not give me an open corner table stating "it was reserved for bigger parties" - yet she seated 1 guy in that corner slot ....

After being seated - waitress came by for drink and hookah orders = we ordered drinks and hookah but said we need to look at the menu to decide ... she took the menus and left = never came back with menu only hookah and drinks ...

While I understand they may have been busy due to a party -- the hostess was less than welcoming on first meet and after starving thru the hookah - don't think I will be returning anytime soon

Mediterranean restaurant that doubles as a hookah bar. The food was good, but portions could be bigger. Do not come here if you have asthma, as the air was super stuffy and smokey, even during lunchtime when the place was half empty and there wasn't that many people smoking so I can only imagine how smokey and stuffy the place would be in the evening.

Different type of scene then what I'm use to but I love the vibes and enjoyed myself..... the hookah is hitting.....

All you have to do when you get here is, get blind folded, touch anything on the menu, and Bang!!!! The magic happens. You literally start speaking in tongues. I promise you, everything cooked/prepared here tastes out of this world. Waitresses, amazing. And great ambience. Loved it. The food was so good,,didn't have time to take pics of my food.

doorman was rude. Thought he was someone special and was arrogant but only makes $10 an hour. Dear doorman you re not working at liv nightclub you re working at a Mediterranean restaurant that has a DJ go back to school and be somebody relevant

Too pricey for what it offers. Food is tasty but not worth the price. The bouncer outside is the nicest I came across NYC. The 4 stars are just for him.

Service could be little slow if you dont have your favorite server there but still I like it..have been few times this year.

Really good food and drinks are amazing. Ricardo was taking care of us. Really kind and polite. I ll be back for sure
