My experience inside the Pep Boys store was okay: the store wasn't crowded and was organized. Nobody tried to help me, but I was only there a few minutes and found exactly what I needed pretty quickly. When I went to checkout, the cashier didn't seem to notice me walk up, but as soon as I got there, he began ringing up my order.
Seemed that not many people there were putting forth much effort, but it also didn't seem like they needed to.
The worst part about this particular store is the parking lot. When I arrived, I assumed the entire world was at Pep Boys because there was no parking almost anywhere. I had to go into the back and then under 95, which became almost a block to walk just to get back to the store. Plus there were some weird things happening in that lot: some guy jamming tires into his pick-up truck, some blonde lady just wondering about with stylish boots on. Why would you push on tires? They're not going to compress much; their not full of air when they're just loose...
Either way, I got what I needed, but I'll be avoiding this place forever due mostly to the parking lot.

Had some problems with the car, they actually went above and beyond to make sure everything was fixed properly. I wouldn't hesitate to go back again. There only frustrating part is usually they is an extended delay. This can happen anywhere and to be able to bring your car in whenever without an appointment and get service is rather impressive. I recommend this pep boys because they helped me out. This may not ring true for everyone and but things worked out this last time

They listened to me about what was wrong with my car and said they would check it out. I was there awhile but I didn't have an appointment so I was just glad they fit me in. They were able to fix the problem, Devon and the other workers were friendly and kept me in formed with the progress. Will definitely return to this location again.

Like pepboys because it's convenient but the only problem I have is when walk in the into the store the manager was at the cash register when he saw me he just stirred at me and never greeted me but as I was leave he greeted some other gentlemen that was walking in the store which was odd

Brought my car here today with little notice after...

Brought my car here today with little notice after a horrible experience at the Ritner St. location. Dave was very empathetic to the situation and went out of his way to fix what had been screwed up at the other store. I truly appreciate his care, concern, and urgency in righting the wrong! The other store turned me away after I spent 400 dollars fixing one problem just to come away with another. Thanks again, Dave. Now we can drive back to Florida safely.

They are understaffed which leads to long times for what you need but the service was great, helpful and super nice. Dropped a flat tire off at 8:30 am and wasn t ready until 6. Said it would be done by 12, which shows the lack of staff. They do have a good selection of parts like windshield wipes, oils and fluids. Lots of parking out front and right off Columbus blvd so not hard to get too.

Called-in a couple of days in advance. 11am appointment to get my inspection tags renewed. It is currently 1:25pm and neither a call or update. Inspections (according to google), should take between 15-20minutes. What is the point of scheduling an appointment if you have to wait 2 and a half, plus hours? Keep you posted on how long else it s takes... Will not be coming back, as this is the second time a situation like this has happened, here.

Update: After three hours of waiting, my vehicle failed inspection. Ed (I believe) reassured me that he had told me it would take an hour to an hour and a half. I was charged $66 for failed inspection and left. This was a complete waste of time. No need to contact me ever again, Pepboys. Good luck in the future! Thanks.

Saying my experience was terrible would be a vast understatement. I had an appointment at 1:00pm on Sunday, August 12th for a routine car inspection. The end of the business day came, and I received no call with an update. On Monday, still no call. I decided to call myself to see what was going on. I called around 4:30pm on Monday, and was placed on hold by Juanita for 22 minutes. I hung up, and called back, only to be placed on hold for another 15 minutes after Juanita told me she was so busy. She finally got back on the line and said my car was not done yet. She had no further information for me. I prompted her to tell me what as taking so long, and after being placed on hold again, she let me know my horn was broken. Still no further information, price estimate, or estimated finish time. I had asked to speak to someone else who would have more information. A mechanic got on the phone, and let me know they needed to order a horn that would be approximately $81 for the replacement. On Tuesday, I receive a phone call around 6:15pm letting me know the horn they had ordered was not the correct horn for my car (therefore my car would have to stay overnight again) and they were sorry for the inconvenience. Wednesday comes around, and no call. I called around 6:00pm for an update. Once again, Juanita had no idea what she was talking about so had asked for a Manager to speak with me. The Manager let me know that they were not yet able to locate the correct horn for my car, and the one they were seeking was $378 (not $81). Completely fed up at this point with the lack of help, communication and professionalism, I decided to pick my car up and take it elsewhere. Upon my arrival to get my car, I learned that they had misplaced BOTH my registration and insurance. They offered to reimburse me for these items and again were "so sorry for the inconvenience." I m not entirely sure why they staff individuals at the call desk who are completely clueless, unprofessional, disorganized and impolite. I m also unsure how it is possible to lose two very important documents a driver needs. I will never come here again and if you know what s good for you, you will not either.

Horrible customer service, went in Wednesday after calling and the guy who answered said come at 12 so I did and no one knew what I was talking about no one said that blah blah blah... go in Thursday after I set an appointment up over the phone with Jim for 11, the guy at the desk has no idea who Jim is and that there s no appointment, so I leave and call hoping to get Jim on the phone no Carlos answers he knows there s a mechanic Jim but not working desk, extremely frustrating

Came in for oil change.

Came in for oil change.

Estimated time to complete was 2 hours.

At 3 hours I asked what the deal was. Their reply is they lost my paperwork and my keys. I mentally told myself that if my car wasn't touched in 10 minutes I would leave.

Just my luck, they started on my car. I kinda wanted to make a scene.

It took 4 hours.

End of story. It sucked. Pep Boys waiting area was cold. Oh and I needed to poop but couldn't because their bathroom was absolutely disgusting.

Edit: Pep Boys has contacted me and given me a free oil change to make it up to me and stated that the bathrooms have been remodeled by professionals and cleaned by professionals. Next oil change, I will update this review to see if the customer service changes and possibly update the star rating. Thanks for reaching out Pep Boys.

I've been to this particular Pep Boys once prior to today & had an okay experience. However, as of today, I am ABSOLUTELY through w/ Pep Boys on Delaware Ave. I've had thee most frustrating encounter w/ the customer service rep AND manager (It was more so the "manager"). I had an appt set for 12PM on 04.19. I was prepared to leave my car there for repairs & was told by the CS representative that I would be given a call after my car was inspected; that NEVER happened. To be honest, I don't think that they inspected the car at all. According to the representative, the repairs on my car would be completed by 7PM. I was supposed to have my front & rear brake pads replaced, a wheel alignment & oil change. I had to call multiple times just to be told that the mechanic needed more time to assess my car. First off, if I drop my car off at 12 in the afternoon, it should not take 8 hours to get a sufficient answer regarding the status of my vehicle. After calling every 3.5 hrs, the "manager" finally gets on the phone & explains to me that my car was almost finished & that the brakes were the only thing left to be done. According to the "manager", my car was still scheduled to be completed by 7PM. I FINALLY get a call back from the CS rep at 7:15PM (insert rolling eyes emoji) and was told that my car would not be done until 9PM. Out of the 8+ hrs they had my car, they only did the oil change. BUT, I was told by the "manager", Devon, that my wheel alignment had already been completed. Furthermore, why would the "manager" LIE by saying that the wheel alignment was completed and it WAS NOT?! I'll NEVER EVER go back to this Pep Boys. They're horrible! They don't communicate effectively, they give inaccurate information & they're inconsiderate.

Stopped by while passing through Philly, in need o...

Stopped by while passing through Philly, in need of an inspection of my suspension/wheel. Not only did I wait for 10min while the associate answered phone calls on hold, before I could finish speaking he cut me off to tell me he has 12 cars ahead and could not direct me to a local auto shop in the area. Strongly recommend that you avoid this place, if you re actually interested in helpful information.

Customer service is horrible. All I had was 1 flat tire change and it took them all day till closing! Not to mention when it was done, they said nothing. I sat in the store after hours and no one let me know that they had finished, I had to finally talk to someone to get my keys back. Never going here again, fix your service.

Had a 1pm appointment for a simple oil change and was told it would take roughly an hour. Returned an hour and a half later and my car still wasn't ready. I think they forgot about it...which I understand, things happen. Although, they didnt tell me that. I was told it would "just be a few more minutes" and then as I'm standing by the window waiting, watched a mechanic hop in my car which still hadn't been moved from where I parked it when I dropped it off. My car quite obviously hadn't even started being serviced yet. I would have appreciated their honesty. All in all an hour oil change turned into a 3 hour wait. Would not recommend.

I set an appointment for buying tires. After an hour waiting I find out they did not bring the car in to start , even though I set an appointment. Then I learn that theyithey did not have the tires for the vehicle after the fact, and that they had to retrieve them. They could have told me they were out of stock of that tire instead of letting me sit there. I would have just bought another brand. The mechanic was awesome and helped out detailing what I wanted outta my tires. Overall a sour tasting experience.

Worst experience I have ever had. Don't take your car here unless you want to pick it up and find pieces in your trunk days later. The service staff is rude and overall not helpful. I took my car in because two mechanics had indicated to me that my vehicle had a bad wheel bearing. After explaining to the technician what the issue was they informed me that the bearings where not bad but instead I had $3500 of other work that needed to be done. I decided not to get the work done there even though I had been a loyal customer for over 10 years. To my surprise after picking up my car and driving over an hour away I looked in the trunk and found that they did not even put my car back together again, there were splash panels and bolts just thrown in the trunk of the car and when I called about it they did not apologize whatsoever. This place is a SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!!!!! Avoid going at all costs.

I was asking estimation fitment & price for new wheels before purchase. A black guy wearing white pepboys shirt seems lazy & hate his job (Dont know his name). He didnt even ask questions which wheels or any common sense about wheels i wanted to purchase & I waited there for about 15 minutes for system on computer and ending up left me waited for more time (still.. he didn't ask for questions wheel fitment or which wheels I wanted to get)
Customer service training needed on this guy or maybe management should hired the right employee for perfect fit in "WHEELS & TIRES SECTION".
Other employees seems to be customers service friendly.
I gotta give 1 star because of 1 bad tomato in the box.

Very poorly run business. First visit: booked an oil change online for an evening time slot. After an hour waiting I went to check on my car and they hadn t even serviced it yet. Was told by the woman at that counter that I shouldn t book that close to closing because this happens. Then why is it an option? The oil change took two hours to complete. I decided to give the location a second chance as it is very close to where I live. I booked an appointment for 5:30 pm for a check engine light and when I arrived was told by the agent that it was too late and the person who does that service had gone home. Again why is it even an option online?! I next booked online for drop off for the following morning. The next day around 10am I hadn t heard anything. I call the shop and the phone line wasn t even working to answer messages. I had to call pep boys customer service in order to get in contact with them. They clearly weren t even aware my car was there and they didn t see my key in the drop box, probably because the drop box is broken. as evident from the outside. Finally got in contact with the manager who gave us two alternative numbers to call for a status check. When again I called to check on my car there was no answer to either of the numbers he gave us. Car wasn t done until 3pm so a total of 7 business hours for an engine light check. Icing on the cake: I come to pick up the car and they can t find the keys for about 10 minutes. I will not be going back.

AVOID. This place is a joke. Took my car there when the window got stuck open in the pouring rain and my regular mechanic was already closed for the day. They told me they couldn't fix it until the morning but they would bring it inside overnight. Original estimate was $50. They called back the next day and said they didn't have the parts, would have to wait, and the new estimate was $800 (parts were $250 and the rest was "labor"). Asked my regular mechanic for a second opinion and he said to get it out of there ASAP. So I called Pep Boys back and asked them to just hold the parts for me, call me when they came in, and I would buy the parts from them so my regular mechanic could do the repair. They never called, and when I went back to Pep Boys the next morning I see my car in the lot, already repaired. When I asked customer service why they went ahead with the work when I asked them to wait, they told me "oh the parts were already actually here". Makes me wonder if they even replaced any parts at all...So basically, I was trapped paying a ridiculous amount of money for what should have cost half the price. And it turns out they never brought my car inside and it sat in the pouring rain all night and I got it back still soaking wet inside. And to top it off, the window still doesn't work right- they told me the "computer" has to be re-set at the dealership.

Ready to scam you on an A/C recharge! Brought my car in last year for an A/C recharge because it wasn't blowing cold air. I knew their reputation wasn't great, but I thought it was a simple enough job. They come back, said the recharge didn't help, and that I needed well over $1000 of parts and labor to fix it. Too much money to spend right then so I left, endured the summer heat, and put it off for another year. I recently got my state inspection done at a different local franchise auto shop who really impressed me with their openness and honesty. Decided to bite the bullet this week and agree to get my A/C looked at there. I drop off and come back an hour later to have them tell me that it ONLY NEEDED A RECHARGE and now it works great! I was shocked! I went through two hot summers thinking it was too expensive to fix but really it turned out to be about $100 issue and a bad company feeding lies to its customers. Don't trust Pep Boys, even with simple tasks!

First time I went to pepboy at 2298 w Ritner street to fixed tire leaking air issue and they didn t fixed it, I went to this store and told them my tire was fixed by another pepboy, they fixed my tire for free, but when I get back the front tire start leaking with exactly same amount of air, took me a month to figure out because a weather condition! I believe they just switch the rear tire to front, here I am the third time fix the tire without a explain, hope paying will make them do the job or I have to go back to Acura !

Ordered 2 clearance tires from their online store, which said there were 3 in stock. 4 days later, my order gets canceled without explanation--just says to call the store. Called the store and they were completely unapologetic, telling me that no one has those tires so they canceled the order. They offered no solution.

If the website says something is available and someone orders it, their purchase should be honored. It doesn't matter if some sort of miscalculation of stock occurs. I should have been offered another pair of tires at, if not the same price, a heavily discounted price. Instead I was offered "some other tires, but they're not going to be anywhere near that good of a price."

Do you want to do business with a company that works like this? I sure don't.

Not only the lady rep.(cashier) here at PepBoys was nice, but she also helped finds the parts I needed. She didn't mind showing me to the right shelves in the right aisle where the items were. Thank you for being very helpful, guys.

I agree with Dennis Tanner and M Poppleton . II wish I could give them 0 stars. Gave them a second chance, after a mishap with my tires so I scheduled 1130 drop off - inspection and oil change. It's now 7:15pm and I'm writing this review as I walk home. Hopefully my van will be ready when I walk back tomorrow morning . Reward points or not don't think I'm coming back. Definitely my mistake not checking the reviews I just wanted to avoid another PPA $41ticket

UPDATE: 8:15am next morning and the van isn't done. I was asked did they call you and tell you it was done?

And to be fair by 8:30 the van done and everything was complimentary. So it didn't cost me anything but my lost time and aggravation.

Pep Boys is convenient, which is why I've ended up going here since I got a car a few years ago, but I will say I've have had a couple of red flag issues in my last couple of visits. When I had my car inspected in November 2015, one of the wheels was missing a couple of bolts that needed to be replaced to pass inspection. Fine. Well, my check engine light was on when I took it in, but they were missing the Subaru chip for the reader, so they had to send me somewhere else to complete the emissions part of the inspection. I had to pay for my inspection and was given paperwork that said I had 30 days to deal with the emissions. As my car keys are being handed back to me, the mechanic mentions that the bolts still needs to be replaced and I should really have that taken care of... Well, they needed to be replaced to pass inspection, since I was missing more than one, and I even paid for it! I was lucky the guy checking me out was the one who did the initial inspection, but it had been someone else who was supposed to replace the bolts.

Fast forward to May 2016, I need a new set of tires. I check out online, but I didn't pick tires that on sale. Ok, again. No big deal. I didn't pay in advance; I'll just switch options in store. Once I get to the store, the mechanic in store sells me on tires $10/each more than ones that I wanted that were on sale. They're in stock; I won't have to wait. I do mention my budget, so he even discounts the alignment and couple of other items. Great. Once I get home, I realize he has sold me tires that do not meet OEM specs for my 2001 Subaru Forester, which in the end is ok, I guess.... Because I probably won't ever get within a few hundred pounds of load capacity.

I've never felt like I've been overcharged by Pep Boys, but it's important to stay on top of the work they're doing and to double check it, which probably should be done anywhere you have your vehicle serviced.

I went there to get my car inspected for Uber. My car was in poor shape and it failed. While it sucks when you have to get your car fixed, it would suck way more if you got in an accident b/c somebody didn't do their job and passed an unsafe car. Unfortunately, some people just want their car to pass and when it doesn't, take out their frustration on the people there just doing their job.

As far as customer service goes, my experience was a very good one and I would highly recommend going there to get your car inspected if you'd like to at least know whether your car is safe or not.

I spoke with a gentleman by the name of Ramel. The first time I went in there I had a few issues with money and had to return at a later date. The next time I came in I had a few questions and he took the time to answer them and was very forthright about money and how long my wait would be. He was patient with me even though he had just dealt with an angry customer who reamed him out b/c her car didn't pass inspection.

When my car failed, he took me back and showed me that the breaks were in bad shape and that my car was actually leaking break fluid. He emphasized the need to drive home safely if I couldn't get another ride home.

When it was time to pay my bill, he took spare change out his pocket rather than make me break a larger bill for 56 cents.

The bottom line is this, he looked me in the eye, gave me a firm handshake, was honest about costs and how much time I'd have to wait, he was patient with my questions and wasn't dismissive, and he didn't give me the runaround. He knew I was on a tight budget and didn't try to push me into anything.

I haven't gone back yet to get the work done because I can't afford it just yet. But as far as I'm concerned, Ramel and the other people working there were decent people and take pride in their work. Don't take your frustration out on them. They're just doing their jobs and aren't trying to rip you off or bilk you out of your paycheck.

Make a 10am appt for a simple vehicle inspection on a brand new car. Been here for 3 hours !!!! What is the point of an appt???? Had my New Car inspected in De last week and it passed so I know it would take no time if they actually looked at it. The waiting room is FILTY and FREEZING. ABSOLUTELY no way to treat PAYING CUSTOMERS. So very disappointed in Pep Boys. Will never return to this store, nor will I recommend it to anyone.

This is the worst place to bring your car. I brought my car here to have a tire replaced because it got a nail in the tread and could not be plugged. Brought my car in at 8am one morning and was promised it would be finished by 5pm. 5pm came and went and they did not even call me to let me know they would be keeping my car over night. When I called the following morning to figure out what happened, i learned they did not even start working on my car.

When the work on my car was finally completed, I picked up my car and saw that they did not rotate my tires even though i was charged for this service. So the newest tires with the most amount of tread are both on the passenger side and the tires with the least amount of tread are on the driver side.

When I asked them about this issue and told them my car is AWD and the newest tread should be at the front. The MANAGER had no idea my car was even AWD. For reference I have a 2016 Audi. This is standard in Audi brand cars. He then asked me if it said AWD on the back of my car .... This man should not be in the car mechanic business if this is something he doesn t know. He then told me not to drive my car because it isn t safe because the tires were not rotated. Now if i did not realize this mistake, this could ve caused damage to either my car or to myself on the road.

I know have to bring my vehicle back to have the tires rotated even though it should have been done in the first place.

Truly terrible, take your money somewhere else

This place is an absolute joke.. JV league car shop at best. I went here because I figured the Pep Boys brand name would at least give me an average experience.. I was wrong. I went as far as to set an appointment thinking that it would actually carry some weight. Once again I was wrong. I sat there for over three and a half hours..FOR AN OIL CHANGE AND A TIRE REPLACEMENT. I watched my car sit in the garage for hours with the hood open and my spare tire still securely on while workers stood there. I ve never written a review before but figured it would help kill some of the time I spent waiting around. Thanks for the infomercials and mediocre coffee, guys. I won t be back.

Asked for a tire rotation with my oil change and told the clerk that the key to the lug nuts was in the glovebox - he noted that down - and then they didn't rotate the tires. I had to go back in and ask them to do it - which they did immediately and with apologies. This after an hour wait, not the advertised 30 minutes with appointment (fine if they'd done the rotation, but they hadn't) and after they called to recommend a tire rotation (along with some other minor upsells). Not trust-inspiring.

Don't send your car to pep boys! Dropped my car off on a Sunday night. The guy I spoke to on the phone told me I could leave my car keys in the drop box. I noticed it was two boxes but it wasn't specific on which one to drop it in. I called the next day to see if my car was looked at.....guess what???? No! The excuse was they couldn't find my keys. The guy told me he had to fish them out of the box because I put them in the wrong one. Once again, it wasn't specific on which box to put the keys in. Hours later, I call back to out put on hold for a very long time. The guy gave me an update and told me he couldn't find where the oil was leaking on my car. Hours of frustration and poor customer service to tell me this!!? Never again will I return....not even to buy a tire!!

If I could give zero stars, I would! I have used this Pep Boys a handful of times, and have had a bad experience everytime. On Monday I called to make an appointment to get a new tire put on my car. My appointment was for 9 am this morning. I showed up 15 minutes early only to find out that they didn't have my specific tire, couldn't even order it from their warehouse, but MIGHT be able to get it from another place by 3pm today. When I expressed my frustration about this situation, I was then asked if I told them when making the appointment what type of tire I needed, like it was my fault. When I made the appointment, the only information I was asked for was the year, make, and model of my car, and then I was told I was all set for my appointment. The kicker is I just got an email saying they were sorry I couldn't make my appointment, but they'd be happy to reschedule it for me. I'm sorry, but I made my appointment, they were the ones unprepared for it. Luckily I found another shop who was able to accommodate me. Won't be using this Pep Boys ever again!

I bring the car in to refix the over heated issue that the pepboys in kop should have fix. They charge me to replace thermostat and fixing engine misfire and said that is a new issue and the one in kop didn't bother to replace the thermostat is causing the over heating again. 2 days later after I picked up the car again. The engine light is on and traction control light is on. Brought back here to fix again, they said there's another misfire in the engine and charged me to fix that again. That night after I picked up my car, the engine light is back on and traction is on and the over heating issue is back as well. The only issue the car has to begin with is over heating, after they fix it there's more issues. They are still not fixed. On top of that, they charged me every time

Stay away!! Went in for a simple tire fix. Got home... Tire plug fell out. Took it to Firestone needed a new tire. The tech at Pep Boys ruined the tread. After my last fiasco I swore I would never go back. This time I keep my promise.

I have bad experiences with pep Boys because they want to charge unnecessary money for everything. I visited Monday 31st July 2018 having the problems with the horn. They told me to change new clock spring, it s price was $477.30. When I checked online the prices varies but less than $ 50. My wiper was working good when I took my car over there but they told me wipers are not working. They told me that wipers motor need to be replaced. It s price was $ 352.95. When I checked online the price was five times less than their price. But I told them there might not be the motor problem. And I told them, might be the bushing problem. They said they checked and found the motor problem. When I brought back home and checked there was bushing problem which cost $ 5 only. So this is my first and last visit to pep boys I think so. Think several times you go there.

I was having issues with my breaks squealing after I had them replaced, brand new pads and rotors on both the front and back. Pepboys (at 1000 S Columbus Blvd. Philadelphia) took a look at my car multiple times over several weeks and made adjustments until the issue was finally resolved. Matt (service manager) and Dameon (service technician) stuck with me through every repair attempt and were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly during the process. I will definitely be returning to pep boys for car services as a result of their great service!

I went to Royal Purple's website to locate a local retailer that carried their gear oil, as well as some other common tune up items. They recommended this Pep Boys. They only had 1 quart of gear oil in stock, despite their computer saying otherwise. What is the point of having 1 quart? You can't change your diff with 1 quart. They might as well have none. Also they didn't carry the air cleaner to a '04 buick Rainer. Were out of stock on the air cleaner to an '05 Xterra/Pathfinder/Titan/Armada/ and don't carry the in cabin micro filter for the '05 Nissan trucks. I will not waste my time here again!

Only went here because I was pressed for time as I was leaving the city the next day and needed a tire. Unreal. Guy who I assume is the shop manager tried to intimidate/scare me saying I needed all new brakes (rotors, calipers, pads) without even taking the wheels off. I've turned a few wrenches in my day, and knew there was no way he could know all that without taking the wheels off. Sure, you can check pads by looking through the caliper, but the rest - no way. He didn't seem too pleased when I chuckled at him knowing there was no way he could know all that, but I wasn't about to get into it with him so I bit my tongue. Additionally, they did not replace my wheel lock key after putting a new tire on. I called the shop to ask them to locate so I could get it back and they claimed they didn't have it. But what was probably my favorite part was them trying to charge me for a flat repair on the tire I had replaced and adding a road hazard warranty to the tire without even asking me. Thankfully I went over the receipt before leaving the store. Avoid this place at all costs.

Whats the point of scheduling an appt if they dont have the car at least moved into the shop area within half hr of the scheduled appt. And this was after rescheduling from the first day because the techs were leaving when i had the original appt. Why have that as an option. Scheduled appt was for 5pm and they just started working on it about 2 and half hrs later.

The customer service is terrible and rude, service is not completed. I scheduled an appointment for oil change and tire rotation at 11 am, and Mr. Soroosh said that it won't be done until 5pm meanwhile I have scheduled for waiting and pick up. It took them 6 hours to get oil change and tire rotation?
I got the call from Soroosh that my car will be done before 4pm, when I came pick up my car. Soroosh said that tire rotation wasn't done because I rushed them. His attitude was extremely rude and unprofessional. Instead of apologizing to customer, he blamed on me for rushing him, that's why the service hasn't done yet. I felt so disappointed not only about bad customer service, but also unwell-done job.

Double check your bill before you pay! Had a 9:00am appt for brakes and state inspection, when dropping the car off I was told it would take 2 hours. The car didn't get pulled into a bay until 10:15 and 3 hours after that they told me the car was ready. While the associate was ringing me up, I asked "did it pass?" I waited 4+ hours for them not to even do an inspection, they almost let me pay and leave without checking it was done. Once I made them realize their mistake they took it back in and I waited an additional hour for them to say the inspection couldn't be done because the emissions machine "kicked my car back," I was given no further explanation as to what this meant. I was quoted $220 on the phone when scheduling the appt but was charged $396 at checkout. They added a warranty charge (which was never mentioned nor did I opt for), double charged for labor, charged me although they never ran the inspection initially, and didn't deduct the rebate for bringing in your own parts (I provided my own pads and rotors). Make sure to check your bill and do the math before you pay, just dont blindly swipe! Would get 1 star except the service rep was very kind, helpful and apologetic, he corrected my charges once I brought the mistakes to his attention.

Where do I start....I had a schedule appointment at 9am for an oil change and that I would be staying at the store. Store was late on opening and as I go to hand my keys over to the employee, it took them nearly an hour and 30 minutes to finally take my car into the shop. 3 hours total later and still no confirmation of completion. Instead of saying they'll call you and tell you when it's ready, just be up front and say "expect heavy delays and estimated time may vary between late or very late." I really wish I can give them a rating lower than 1. Worse OIL CHANGE ever and never coming back to this location again. Waiting on the eventual "owner's automated response" asking that they want you to send them more information and investigate when clearly, every review is literally what they experienced to probably the fullest detail. **UPDATE** After 4 hours 20 minutes it's finally done.

Employees were nice enough but I arrived for my appointment that I made and they told me they couldn t fit me in for re-printing inspection stickers. No one called to say don t drive all the way here and reschedule. Someone only called to ask more about my stickers and to say see you at 11. Just don t expect to show up on scheduled appointment time and have them work on your car. I m not sure what the point of appointments are here.

First and last visit to this Pep Boys. I am writing this review as I'm sitting in their waiting room....which I've been in for 5 hours. I had scheduled an online appointment for a simple oil change but when I showed up, I was told, very rudly, that it was just an appointment to SET UP an appointment for an oil change. After being schooled on this process, the associate asked me what oil I would like and she told me that she recommends the High Mileage. My car has 8,000 miles on it. I told her a specific kind that I'd prefer and she said she still recommends the high mileage (because it was $45 more) and she began arguing with me about it! After all of this, I ask how long it might take and whether it would be worth waiting around. Here I sit 5 hours later with no word on how much longer it'll take. If I knew it would've been this much of a hassle to get an oil change, I would have went to the MUCH friendlier, faster folks down the street.
