Don t rent here. George-Ann is nice when you first meet her but she is a terrible and disrespectful landlady. I knew multiple people renting on Summer St. The hot water kept running out in the mornings. My friend called and the lady on the phone said shower in the evenings. They have no interest in being good agents. They just want rent with the minimal repairs and cleaning. Apartments are old which is ok... but they don t even clean properly before you move in.

Our water heater isn't heating water, our powe is not up to code, dishwasher hasn't been fixed in 6 months. Absolutely the worst.
PPM will come plow snow, AFTER there's a foot of it, and it's frozen solid, and you've already broken your back shoveling a path from your car to the road so you can show up at your job late instead of not at all. Should be called Pentagon Property Neglect.

This company needs serious legal action taken against them, and all tenants should be entitled to a monetary award from a civil lawsuit. The state needs to fine the hell out of them and shut them down for good.
I felt compelled to leave a positive review after seeing all the negative ones. I've rented two properties from George Ann so far. I've had a good experience overall. If you call their helpline, they get a maintenance person to call you within fifteen minutes. Granted, unless something is broken or not working it's not easy to get them to fix it. However the entire process of house hunting and lease extensions have been very smooth. Matt the maintenance person for the company is also very good at what he does.
I normally do not write reviews, but upon seeing all of the negative, I thought I'd write a positive. Pentagon Property Management was very kind to me and understanding after I was in a serious car accident and was hospital bound/unable to come back to a third floor apartment, and worked with me on my lease. They came promptly every time I requested maintenance at any time. Following this, I LOVED my apartment. It was a good location, nice size, and very clean/well-maintained. I wish it was possible for me to live there longer!! I lived there from 09-16 to around 04-17. Don't believe every negative review you read. I can only say good things about Pentagon Properties.

Hate it. Sure, definitely rent from them! If you want to live in a hell hole, where they never pick calls and do not respond to maintenance requests, give you furniture that is already broken from the previous tenant who stayed there and then charge you for it when you move out, give you a dirty apartment which you end up cleaning on your own and then they charge a cleaning fee from your security deposit! Bet the next person still doesn't get a clean apartment, and then they charge them a cleaning fee but never clean it again! A $350 cleaning fee? Really? They should have paid me $350 then because I cleaned that apartment myself when I moved in! If you want to ask them/tell them anything about the rental apartment, try calling and emailing for a couple of days before they have the courtesy to respond back! Then, they send our security deposit refund check to the address of the apartment we just moved out from! We just moved out from there! Finally, after weeks they say that they received the check back in their mail and agree to send it to my new address. Then it does not arrive at my new address for ten more days. After calling them, they want to charge a check cancellation fee to issue a new check. Meanwhile, my roommate happens to visit our old apartment, and finds the check in that apartment's mailbox! So, they never resent the check to my new address and then wanted to charge me more fees.
This property management company is the worst. They are basically slumlords. George-Ann will lie to you and only fix thing when absolutely necessary. Upon move in I had to go to the property and open an unlocked door to get access to a property that was discussing. The carpets were not cleaned the kitchen and bathroom were discussing full of mold and mildew. Our move in was set for a Saturday, we called repeatedly with no response until the following Wednesday. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY! Don't believe me; go to Yelp.
Absolutely the worst scum lord I have heard about. An then when my family went through her company all the rumors were true. The worst management in the upper valley . She lets her properties be infested with bed bugs. She Breaks numerous laws . An only cares about getting her rent when she makes the places she's renting absolutely unbearable. We moved out as soon as we could . She deserves to be kicked out on her ass an not treat people the way she does . Disgusting company . So people go anywhere else !! Trust me you will regret the day you walked into PPM because I sure do.
