My 73 year old mother informed me that while playing the Pokies the other day a young woman started swearing and raving about social distancing and complained to one of the bar staff who reprimanded my Mother.
But this wasn't the end of it Mum went outside to play and was approached by the young woman again only this time showing her class she wanted to fight her
My Mum complained to the manager who talked to the woman with no action taken them proceeded to scold my Mum like a schoolgirl for not social distancing in the first place and not staying where he told her to stand
I know there are two sides too a story but would love to know how this could possibly happen in your establishment and why?

Great little club. Excellent for family outing. Good range of beverages. Meals were tummy and there was plenty on the plate.

Yesterday my work went here for a social get together. The club was so nice to us, they gave us a little function room called The McCauley Room to gather in. This was great because the 7pm meat raffles we're going on and the place was buzzing with activity. Cee Cee's took our food orders so fast and efficiently. I couldn't believe how fast we got our food. Some of us were going to do lawn bowls too but because we all came at different times we didn't have time as it closes sharp on 9pm. They refunded our money. We'll have to come back and try it out. The meat raffle prizes looked awesome.
The food was great. The service even better. I couldn't believe how packed the place was. Thanks for a nice time.

I know the Greenkeeper there and would go there regularly

I was very surprised at the great service and family oriented environment had a great time there on Fathers Day

Went here on ANZAC Day. Good prices on food and drinks. Delicious food, moderate sized meals.

i ordered the avocado chicken, the chicken was supposed to be pan seared but it looked like it had been broiled in the microwave. the topping was horrible and tasteless, and it all sat in a pool of watery liquid.
just horrible. over the years we have eaten there many times but this will be the very last time.

Nice little Club. Average food at the bistro but good enough for the price. Easy to park. 3 bowling greens, Function room, Keno and Pokies.

1970s called and they want their prices back seriously though nice clean relaxed atmosphere and prices are affordable, def do yourself a favour and go there

i brought my own bowling ball and they told me that 10 pin bowling wasn't the same as lawn bowls and i was very confused but i was inducted into the strange ritual of lawn bowls and i learned much of this strange society, big impressed, 7 star

Had an amazing $10 lunch the other day.

If you re looking for a cost effective, easy, family friendly thing to do on the weekend I recommend a game of barefoot bowling.
The staff were friendly, drinks are well priced, game is fun and kids we welcome.
Something different but casual and fun.
They also have someone on hand to show you how to play if you ve not played before.

Lovely little club. Good priced Bistro with big variety to choose from. Very quiet. Also kids play ground near by.

Good and Decent place to be. I went on ANZAC Day. Its was truly an recreational club on that day. Played Two-Up which was exciting. Great crowd. Was nice and loud. Great beer on the tap. It was well managed. Overall great experience.

Bowling Club in the middle of Penrith, close to a shopping centre. Two bowling greens. Poker machines, Keno and bistro. Function facilities and Barefoot Bowls.

Good food and prices. Little disappointed that they booked two large bookings which tied up the kitchen for an hour and didn't warn new diners.

Tuesday night snit at Penrith bowling club plus you get a voucher for a free beer and you can get a drink like lemon lime and bitters also.

What a hidden venue. Feel safe coming here to eat a meal or meet a friend, great food, the venue is very well run

My partner and I have had a few hit and misses here over the years but since the bistro has changed hands we are so impressed! Seriously delicious food at an excellent price and great beer specials too! Just make sure you bring your appetite!

Nice club. Went there for a function. Very helpful staff

No one at the sign in desk when we first walked in. A young male staff member with black hair ignored us and another guy.
Found a table and then went back to the check in desk and had to line up as someone was finally there.
Table under the screen is in an awkward spot but understand you have limited room.
Drinks are cheap and the arancini I had were good. The salad I had was pretty bad you can t charge $21 for a salad which is tiny and has like 3 ingredients and hardly any chicken. Next time I ll try not to be healthy and get a schnitzel as they looked awesome. The takeaway salad I am eating right now has more flavour and was $10.
Love the new menu, but some dishes may need tweaking.

Descent lunch specials for members. Membership is $5 & you get $5 off lunch every time so membership is instantly worth it

Had our daughters birthday there and all the staff were friendly and were more than happy to assist with request we made. Also enjoyed the meals as well.
