The instructors are very knowledgeable and do care about the students. You only get what you put into your education. The sales team is a typical sales team but the rest of the school is good.

It s been 4 years since I ve graduated from Pennco Tech the Bristol location. I took up Medical Assisting clinical and administrative. Joe at the time helped me apply I paid the $100 up front no problem.

There were two separate classes one for the administrative part and another for clinical hands on training it was very informative both teachers were great.

They also train you for your CPR and First Aid Certification through American Red Cross which was professional and a plus.

I took advantage of the career services Teresa whom helped me perfect my resume and apply for job opportunities was great. Shortly after I landed an entry level job as a Medical Assistant a week before my graduation.

Even half a year later I still was able to contact Victor who helped me find my loan servicer and he was very helpful and nice .

I have perfected my skills since then to further my career in the medical field. I can honestly say I m very satisfied with the training I received and the people who helped me jump start my career. It s been a great progression from then till now and it s only getting better. I definitely choose the right path. I love helping others and I m making great earnings. It s all about how you apply yourself and your willingness to strive for your purpose.

I graduated from the electrician program but wasnt licensed or anything just had a certificate saying I passed the course. Still haven't found work in the field either. The career center posts jobs on the board but not necessarily help you find one but they do help you write a resume. I think it's just way overpriced ,your not certified or anything. Anyone trying to start their career should just get into some sort of apprenticeship "green". You'll save a whole lot of money in the end.

Did I just dodge a bullet or what! Fast talking sells pitch and pressuring to sign on the dotted line! Steve is a great sells person. I feel bad for anyone that doesn't have a back bone! He built up my son the whole time we were there and talked fast and he would answer your questions but the bottom line is hurry up and get a spot for 100.00 dollars. When I told him we wanted to go home and discuss it he turned like a light switch! At that point according to Steve, my son was not ready to go to this school! My son glanced at his phone one time while Steve was on his 3rd phone call and he said to my son I saw you looking at your phone not really interested in what was going on here! When I said we don't make discussion like this on the spot he got very aggressive and at the point I stopped the meeting, and stated this meeting is done! At the point he gets up escorted us out of his office and made us go out the side door! BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN GOING TO THIS SCHOOL! Money hungry not in the best interest of the students! But my son and I did have a good laugh and have a great story!

If you value your education and your money, do not go here. If you just want a piece of paper that says you did it and cost $18k be my guest. There s no curriculum no baseline nothing but down time. The equipment you ll work on is a mess from all the previous classes nothing is updated, fixed or safe to work on. The reason their programs are longer is to be able to justify the price, it is not because you learn more. I came here expecting 900 hours of instruction that s what I signed to pay for, what I got was about 50 hours of instruction and 850 hours of sitting in class staring at my phone because no instruction was going on or assignments assigned. Do yourself a favor find someone that will hire you as an apprentice and get your education that way to save yourself from the debt and still make some money. There s nothing here that you are taught that any one with experience in the field can t teach you in a month or two of working.

Wasn't what I thought it would be. The last term was tremendously more difficult then the first two. Bringing my gpa to a 72. It's a system they have made. They say you can't use notes like first two terms which is strange they say it's the teachers choice. But my main thing was I wasn't allowed to go to graduation because I didn't pay off my " loan to be paid while in school loan". There get there money but I'll never get that ceremony back.

Literally don t waste your money. If you want to be a pharmacy technician, you ll learn more if you apply for an entry level job and get trained on the job. The staff is very nice, but the Pharmacy program was a complete waste of my time and money. I m sure the mechanic program and electrician programs are much more necessary for their jobs, but the pharmacy program almost feels like a scam. I had a great female teacher for my first term, she was very knowledgeable. My second term had a newly hired man, and he was extremely prejudiced and downright mean and cruel. Wish I could just get my money back for that whole second term, because it was extremely disappointing. The male pharmacy was fired shortly after my graduation, thank goodness.
I would also like to add in that the career services are an absolute joke. Never did they do anything to help me find a job in my field, and the figures they liked to throw around about the money I would make after my program were downright lies. I made 75 entire cents more than minimum wage, even though they said the majority of the students made over 12/hour and upward of 20/hour after graduation. Complete lies. I was very disappointed. And now I m stuck with this lovely student loan, when I don t even work in the field that I studied.

I completed the electrician program in august and found it to be very informative even with a little electrical experience before the program . The teachers were very knowledgeable. The biggest problem i had while attending school here was it seemed a small part of the student body did not want to learn, they instead wanted everything handed to them on a silver platter. If you want a great hands on learning experience i recommend checking out Pennco Tech.

Steve is corrupt. He likes to mislead people so be very careful when dealing with him. He likes to tell you everything will be ok so you pay the $100 enrollment fee and then when its not you dont get it back. Dont make my mistake in dealing with him, his own words to me on a recording i have were im "to dense" to understand and could "care less" whether students enroll or not.

I WENT TO PENNCO TECH FOR COLLISION REPAIR & PAINT. AT FIRST EVERYTHING SEEMED FINE UNTIL LATER DOWN THE LINE I NOTICED THERE WERE THINGS THAT WE NEVER DID IN THE CURRICULUM. SO BASICALLY I FEEL LIKE I WAS RIPPED OFF. ALSO SUPPLIES FOR US TO LEARN WITH WERE ALWAYS LATE SO WE HAD TO WAIT A WEEK AT A TIME TO CARRY ON SO WE MADE THE BEST OF IT. MY CAR WAS USED AS A PROJECT CAR FOR A REFINISH AND I WAS CHARGED 420 DOLLARS THAT PENNCO TECH HAS BEEN ATTACKING MY CREDIT SCORE FOR. ALL THE WHILE THE PEOPLE OR PERSONS RUNNING THE PLACE HAS ABOUT FOUR 7 SERIES BMWS WELL OVER 100K EACH. STAY AWAY FROM PENNCO TECH.

I enjoyed my experience at Pennco Tech! I joined the Electrician program in hopes of continuing the growth of my own business. My handyman background was lacking in the electrical department until my instructors helped me thrive. Mr. Spickler was a great asset in helping my professional growth. I utilized the Career Services department to help in development of my resume and Matt was excellent in offering advice on my next step forward. I would highly recommend Pennco Tech to anyone looking to get involved in a trade.

Update: I came here for the Pharmacy Tech program

Update: I came here for the Pharmacy Tech program
at the Bristol location. It was a mistake. I left after 2 weeks.
The class was like high school. Not only was it like high school, I was being bothered and pestered by ignorant kids in that class, and NOTHING was done against them, no warning, no consequence . I came to that school minding my own business , bothering nobody, but I was the one being bothered and pestered nonstop. They have a policy manual on page 8 that states they will take action over people like that but they didnt want to lose their money. I reported an incident in relation to me and the directors have been dodging my complaints. I just submit a signed complaint form with the Department of education. They are currently waiting for this school to respond. If there is no response, I am looking into talking to lawyers. This "school" is lacking all types of discipline. Why would I stay there in that environment,. I felt like it was the Babysitters Club in that class. It wasn't indepedent learning. If you have brains and want to get into the pharmacy field, I suggest you go to Temple University's pharmacy program because what I went through at this school was A JOKE!
