I have recently had some physical therapy at this facility on an outpatient bases. The staff was amazing (Val and Suzie). They were kind, courteous and friendly. The pain that I was having is pretty much gone. I m sure I will continue to have flare ups but at least now I know what I need to do to make my situation better. Thank you for your help and compassion.
Apparently this place doesn't pay their nurses enough to tip delivery drivers. Nurse Pamel especially. Got her food there in a timely manner and provided great hospitality to receive nothing. Bring you own food to work or drive yourself to pick it up. Hopefully when minimum wage goes up she won't be as cheap next time.
January 2021, was a very difficult time for my family. Five family members were struck with covid 19 resulting in the loss of my sister, whom was a significant member of our family and the care taker of my mom. Due to the loss of my sister, my 93 year old mom, whom was hospitalized and never had left her home for any length of time, reluctantly had to go to a nursing. My number one choice was Pendleton Rehab. Thankfully Pendelton excepted her and cared for her with open arms, an abundance of compassion, accommodation and support.
It was rough going for her in the beginning but, with continued love and support from all the Staff, all Disciplines that make up the Pendelton Family, my mom is flourishing and now happily calls Pendelton her home! On behalf of myself and my family, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
Very postive experience. Whole team was very accommodating and friendly. Was greeted by the rehab manager and administrator upon admission even though it was a Sunday! Amazing rehab team. CNAs answered the call bells very timely and were very helpful. Would like to specifically thank the Wound Nurse Stefanie. She was so caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable. She was always available to me to answer my many questions. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone in need for short term rehab and wound care.
My father has been in rehab at Pendleton since the end of August of this year. I will be honest in saying that it wasn t my first choice, but I am glad it worked out the way it did. We were told by his doctor at Yale that he wouldn t recover from the massive stroke he suffered in July and that we could only hope for the best . Since September, he has made so much progress thanks to the diligent team at Pendleton. He is speaking clearly and fluently, building strength and confidence, starting to walk, and regaining his independence more and more every day. From the friendly greeters at the desk and the front office staff and social workers who seem to be able to answer all my questions, to the skilled team of PT/OT/Speech and excellent nursing staff and CNAs, I feel like I have my dad back, and I am forever grateful. I would recommend Pendleton to anyone who is in need of a skilled nursing facility and rehabilitation center for their loved ones.
This place used to be great. We have trusted this facility with family members in the past and had great experiences. Unfortunately, our most current experience was absolutely terrible. Our Uncle spent almost two years here and while some of the staff was amazing, the head of nursing was rude and completely uncaring of our concerns. There were others on her staff who did not seem to care about the people in residence but were just there to get a pay check. I witnessed the uncaring attitudes of a couple of the floor nurses even with other patients.
I do want to say the ladies at the front desk are absolutely amazing. They are kind and patient to all of the residents and visitors. Also, the patient care techs were very good with the residents.
I want to thank the wonderful staff at Pendleton, it feels so inadequate, for all you did for my brother. Everyone I have had contact with has been warm, kind and caring to him and us, his family.
I don't know what the future holds for Frank. I am just grateful that the Pendleton staff were there to help him and us on this part of the journey.
Wonderful, caring and competent staff. My mom stayed at Pendleton for 3 weeks following a bout of pneumonia. Everyone at Pendleton strove to aide my mom in her recovery in a professional and loving way. We were very impressed with the care she received. We are grateful that our mother went to Pendleton.
MY WIFE HAS BEEN THERE 17 HOURS AFTER HAVING TOTAL HIP REPLACEMENT. SHE HAS GONE TO THE BATHROOM TWICE BY HERSELF BECAUSE NOBODY ANSWERS THE CALL BUTTON...SO FAR I AM NOT IMPRESSED WITH THIS PLACE. I CALLED THERE LAST NIGHT AND SOMEONE WITH AN ATTITUDE ANSWERED AND ACTED LIKE SHE WAS PUT OUT BY HAVING TO HELP HER TO THE BATHROOM !!

Annual picnic today had the greatest food selection. Everything was prepared excellently. Delicious! Good music, good time!
