We had Alan as our "tour guide" per recommendations. We decided to wait for him to be our guide and as a result, he comped our tasting. As we were waiting for him, we got lunch and the hostess saw us eating outside and brought us water. It did not matter because we bought a case of the Provence. Did it mention that he rapped? You taste about 5 wines for $15, but the cheapest wine is about 20 dollars and they comp your tasting with a purchase of a bottle. The Provence is an amazing wine that is easy to drink with everything. definitely recommend it.

Beautiful gardens outside and artwork lining the walls inside set the stage for a very pleasant wine tasting experience. I am not a wine snob yet, but all of the wines tasted were very drinkable and would have no problem buying, recommending, or partaking in their wines and they were served by very delightful and informative server

Nice atmosphere, simple art gallery upstairs. Wines were not my favorites, and the tasting was very 'qvc' sale show. Very fancy looking but built to be more about the sale than the wine.

The grounds are beautiful. We (two people, one of each) did both the standard tasting and the upgraded tasting. I like Cabs and so we bought wine while there and then signed up for the $130 wine shipment. We were there at the end of October, but were charged $176 a week or so later at the beginning of November for the shipment. I didn't like that we felt a bit pressured during the tasting.

The retail price on the wine we received - $130.

Dead on a Wednesday. Dead. Never tasted or bought their wines. Intention to buy wine for a family member announced on arrival. Still $40/person tasting fee, "One must buy six bottles." Pointless.

Bought the wine and left.

All I will say is....GO! The tasting experience is a lot of fun here and the building and property is beautiful! I enjoyed all their wines and can t say they produce a single bad bottle! The stained glass and art spread admits the site is awesome and gives you a chance to walk around and explore if theirs a wait for tasting. I would recommend charging your phone before coming so you can take lots of pictures!

Peju was recommended by a good friend. Gregory was our tasting guide for our experience. He was very knowledgeable about the wines and very personable. The wines were fantastic both red and white varietals. Bottom line, Fantastic wines and great people.

This place is awesome!! All the staff are really inviting as soon as you walk in. They really give an experience when you go in for a tasting. They took us upstairs and the curator really took us on a journey. Just the right amount of information about the wines. The grounds are outstanding and they offer the classic tasting for free for military members. Check this place out!

We have been to Peju numerous times and have always have loved ending our day there. We were shocked to see how ridiculously expensive their tastings have become. The question is WHY??? We visited a handful of wineries over 2 days and had great experiences. Which, is exactly what we expected at Peju. Unfortunately, in our opinion, their wine doesn't warrant their price. Very disappointed and won't return. This once was a good to but no longer.

Although we weren t a huge fan of their wines, I still enjoyed the visit and the staff were great. The property was cute and they had several table to sit with your group when you buy a few bottles to drink on property.

I d come back to try other wines.

Blonde manager was extremely rude. They made us wait a half hour standing in the lobby. They think they are much better than they are. I had a great experience at B Cellars and Chandon but Pee u was overrated and rude.

Loved our tasting today! Beautiful grounds, friendly and knowledgable staff and amazing wines! As a wine club member I am always excited to get my order and love to stop by for a tasting. Today we had Nancy and she made our day. I'll be back again as soon to pick up some wonderful holiday wine!

The wine at Peju is stellar but the tasting experience can be a bit awkward depending on who you get as your "tour guide".

Once you enter their beautiful space they greet you with a little wait saying that they will provide you with a tasting appointment in a moment. We were walked back to the furthest corner of their building to be greeted by this SAG actor who was introducing himself to us and talking about sports for the first 7 mins. We wanted to try out the wine so we waited patiently hoping that he would start pouring. Maybe I'm just used to a more "what would you like to taste" experience, but I felt as if we were at a show. He then began to rock out to the music playing in the background and it was all Van-Halen and Grateful Dead which is fine, but again... awkward at a winery.

I'm not saying this is the only experience I've had at this winery but they've always been similar. Maybe it's just my luck. Anywho, the wine is good and they have plenty to offer. If it's not part of your tasting and they have a bottle open just ask and I'm sure they'll give you a taste. The Cab-franc... to die for! I just want a piece of meat and a glass of that wine...now!

The staff at Peju were very friendly and not pretentious at all. Scott, one of the wine Educators, was amazingly informative and his sense of humor really made the tasting a true joy to experience. I recommend their 2016 Sauvignon Blanc for a white and hands down the FiftyFifty for a red.

Pretty nice wine tasting on a nice grounds. The driveway and property feature these cool curved trees and the tasting area itself is a nice house with a few counters spread throughout. After a short wait, I went to the stained glass room where I started my tasting.

I sampled 5-7 decent sized pours for $25. Most of the wines were solid - the specialty is the "love potion" which was among the better tasting of their wines. The highlight was definitely our friendly host- he was in SAG-AFTRA and I especially liked how he said I had the name and looks of a potential actor (pretty sure we tipped him well after being slightly buzzed hehe).

Ask the front guy to Yodle - you'll get a great treat! Excellent cellar, probably on par with Cakebread but the best in their category non-the-less.. they offer exceptional wines at a terrific value!

Our favorite Wine in the Napa Valley. I gave the rating a very good but when Richie is our sommelier, then we give the rating an excellent. He isn't stuffy like the others and knows how to have a good time. BTW if you've had too much to drink and cannot drive just yet, make your way over to Rutherford Grill for the Best Baby Back Ribs and smoked artichoke hearts. Just walk down Peju's driveway and make a right on the highway, about 1/4 mile. A perfect ending to a perfect tasting.

Visited the winery in March 2016 and bought a case while we there and had it shipped home. We love the Piccolo and have found the 2013 and 2014 vintages to be ready to drink now and for the price point a great value.

This is a nice winery but just not memorable. It's opened until 6pm so that's a plus. We didn't have an appointment so there was a 15 minute wait which was fine. The tasting room is just a big gift shop. Our server Ryan was enthusiastic and knowledgeable but the wines fell flat and there was just no experience here. There are better options.

Absolutely fell in love with this winery, especially the person who walked us through the entire tasting session - Christopher, and we briefly heard Alan sing along with his guitar. 5 wines for 35 classic tasting, and if 20 for their reserved collection tasting if you do sign up for their wine club membership.

The wines come from multiple of their own vineyards across USA, allowing for different tastes and characteristics of grapes. After the wines get blended together, we get amazing flavours.

Fell in love with their Fifty/Fifty, the Petit Verdot, and their reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. Chardonnay is also light and easy to pair, if you're a fan of white wines.

My wife and I walked in for a tasting and waited 20 minutes for a larger group to form, but nobody showed up. Thankfully we were given complimentary tastings while we waited, which was a nice gesture. We were eventually paired with a couple that were regulars / club members and were promptly ignored by our tasting guide as he focused on them the entire time. The other couple were purchasing high dollar reserve wine packages and our tasting guide was catering to them 80% of the time during our tasting. I was very dissapointed in the service and felt like if I wasn't buying cases of expensive wine I wasn't welcomed. We even bought a bottle of wine after our two tastings... But at $120 for two tastings and a bottle I felt like it was barely a blip on Peju's radar to receive friendly service.

My wife and I had a tasting here and loved it. Their wines are really great and have many different styles to try. The property is beautiful to walk around and atmosphere is relaxed. Bottles are very well priced. Definitely the best we've had at that price point. We bought 6 bottles to bring home but enjoyed them so much we finished them all before the weekend even ended. Can't wait to order more! FYI, the location is super convenient, right off the main road and nearby several popular wineries and restaurants.

Wine is good, and the stained glass is pretty. Ryan was very very knowledgeable, and went out of his way to make sure we left with an amazing experience. He even helped us choose other winieries to visit. By far one of our favorites. This is a must see.

I love coming to Peju!! The grounds are beautiful and I am a fan of the wines. I have done tastings here before - what's nice is that they take you in by groups so you are not fighting for a spot at the tasting counter. came here again over the weekend and because some of us had done tastings before we opted to buy a couple of wines, sit & relax, and snack on the cheese & crackers thoughtfully brought by one of my friends. Peju lets you purchase wines and will provide nice wine glasses to use. The outdoor area has limited table seating but there is plenty of open grass space if you bring a blanket & do a little picnic.

Overall: Long wait, below average wine, and poor customer service.

We arrived with high hopes for this place from other reviews but were immediately put off by an extra 15 minute wait at the front desk even though there was only one person in front of us.

After we got in the tasting room, the menu was very limited and the wine was much less interesting and flavorful when compared to other wineries in the region.

Finally this place is severely overpriced at $35 a tasting which they charged per person instead of per tasting. I came with one friend and asked for only one tasting to share between the two of us so we would be good to drive afterward. Once we finished the tasting over server insisted we pay a full $70 with no mention of this before serving us. We felt scammed and very annoyed afterwards.

This place is simply not worth the trouble if you are visiting in Napa. Go anywhere else to find a more intimate tasting experience, better views, and more accommodating staff.

This place charges a premium for wine tasting; however, do not expect premium service. This place uses the same wine glass for red and white wines. Lastly, this place mentions more about tipping than wine tasting.

We drove from Colorado, returning to PEJU after our original visit in 1997! We still have the PEJU wooden wine box with the stamped hallmark of the "vision" [back then] of the "to-be-built" chateau tasting room. It was wonderful to return and actually experience the stunning architecture that is now perhaps the most breathtaking tasting room in Napa. My husband and I had a tasting with Jeff. The wines continue to be amazing. We are glad we made the drive, and will come again and again. We brought several varietals back to savor at home. Thank you for such an absolutely extraordinary winery, truly attentive staff, and for sharing your wonderful wines!

We always love coming here and have been members for some time. We were not disappointed when we visited after the fires either. The wine was amazing and Scott, our wine eductor, was so knowledgeable and friendly, just improving on our experience. They are also dog friendly! I would highly recommend visiting!

Out of the 3 we went that day, we saved the best for last. Unfortunately, I had drank at the 2 other places we went to and couldn't drink much more at Peju. The grounds, building, and architecture are all beautiful! There is definitely a lot of picture ops here. The inside of the tasting room is pretty as well. It is very open and bright. And of course the wines - they have a lot of sweet wine selection which I liked. They blend their wines as well, which I'm a fan of.

Overall, beautiful place, great wines.

Came here about 45mins from closing on a whim, saw good reviews and decided to check it out, so glad we did... Best Wine we tried all weekend in Napa.. Wish we just came here first and didn't waste time at the more touristy wineries. We became members and cant wait to make another trip back to pickup our wine and do another tasting. Their high-end wine is jaw dropping good, can't wait to try more of these as a member for only $20 ($55 discount)!

One of my favorite wineries. So beautiful, so many wonderful wines that range from complex and age-worthy to refreshing, young and ready to drink. The events and wine club parties are among the best in the valley and the family has owned and operated the winery for like 40 years. I believe in supporting families with history so that means a lot to me; and that they're organic. So cool.
