We switched from a family Dr to a Pediatrician for our 4 children and I have always been very pleased with every interaction and phone call. I will admit sometimes, you have to call at 8:15 waiting for the automatic message to switch to the office. We have called at all hours of the day and have been seen same day. Some appointments we are in and out in 15 minutes and others have been delayed due to other patients needing more assistance. Phone calls are always returned promptly, even after hours. We have even been seen on Saturday morning. I have always been cheerful to the front office staff and been greeted the same. You do have to sign in and wait to be checked in with insurance before going to the back, but many times we are the only one in line and they just see me at the next window. They are the absolute best doctors leaving no stone unturned.

My child stayed 8 weeks in the NICU. Overall it was a great experience. Some great nurses, most of the nurses were good, and there were a few nurses that I didn't care for various reasons.

We were new to the area and saw and heard great reviews about this office compared to the rude customer service reviews of Cornerstone Pediatrics staff (not doctors). My Mom had to "apply" for my siblings and I to be screen by the doctors accepting new patients with a wait of 7 business days for an acceptance validation. Apparently the doctors don't network either so no one could recommend great doctors accepting new patients new to the area. How do they determine a valid reason for rejecting one's application-paperwork? It's the doc-n-the-box for illnesses and a 2 hour drive back to my former doctor for check ups. Madison pediatricians need to upgrade and network with each other.

After you have already signed in and have been seated with all of your belongings and your baby, you have to go back up to the counter just for them to tell you that you'll pay after the visit and then you have to go sit back down again and wait to be called. This happens every time! Also, I called the doctor on call to discuss treatment for my 18 month old falling in an ant bed. When the doctor called me back she was barely paying attention to what I was having to say and was laughing at her child in the background. The front staff is very rude as well.

After getting a glowing recommendation from a friend I called to ask about making an appointment for a new patient. The person who answered the phone said that they were not a walk in clinic. I said ok.... I would like to make an appointment for my son who will be a new patient. This person then explained the process for new patients and was quite condescending and rude. I went to the website and the faqs says to call for an appointment, which is fine if the process has changed but seemed to annoyed her to explain that. I decided to get him seen elsewhere. A rude office staff is that last I would want to encounter if he was sick. Very disappointing experience. I should have gotten her name but I quite taken aback by her attitude.

My boys have been patients of Dr Zbell's for years and we have loved her as a doctor. Her nurse is fantastic as well. The front office staff is usually pleasant and kind. However, there is one lady who always seems to be very rude and acts as though questions are somehow insulting to her. She works in the front office checking patients in and out on the fairly regular. Come to find out she is the office manager. If you don't ever have to deal with her you'll have a great experience, and if you do- you have my sympathies.

My kids have been patients of Dr. Dudley for nearly 15 years. Dr. D is always very thorough with everything. My kids love her, and have always been comfortable seeing her. We have also seen the other Doctors over the years, and can say we have been very happy with them all. I have never had a problem with any staff members, they have always been very competent and helpful. Thanks Dr. Dudley!!!!

the best doctors!!! The worst most rude staff answering the phone, making appointments, and handling the needs and questions of parents! I hope you never have to deal with Karen!! Hostile, angry, interruptive, rude!!! I left this practice after my son was 3 1/2 because of her! I hope other people will too so that these dr.s will finally see how she is negatively impacting their bottom line.

Just called and the receptionist seemed to have an attitude after asking if they were accepting new patients. She seemed annoyed I had even called in the first place and didn't offer any information on how they would become new patients. I had asked if we could schedule an appointment and was responded with a very firm "No" which then followed with the next steps on applying to be a patient there, but just because of this experience I am not even going to bother if that's how their office staff speaks to prospective patients or any patient for that matter.

Dr. Dudley has been my boys pediatrician for 11 years now!! WONDERFUL lady!! Very personable, attentive, and caring to both of my boys. We have seen some of the other doctors there too, and they are great as well! Thanks for taking such good care of my kiddos!

The reviews about the front desk are correct. The doctors here are good, but the gal who answers the phone should NOT be dealing with the public, especially parents who are potentially panicked or upset about a sick child. And only making appointments the day of makes it very hard on a parent ' s schedule. For anything besides a check up, you have to call the day you want the appointment and hope you can get the time you want. For a sick kid sure, but I wanted a consult for something else, and the front desk person talked right over me and just blew me off. If I knew of another location where I wouldn't encounter such attitude, I'd go there.

Terrible experience. Brought in our vomiting and feverish 7 month old daughter to be seen by a Pediatrician and to become a regular patient and they literally sent us back into the cold because their insurance person was off that day. Who does that?!

Dr. Dill has been our pediatrician for 17 years and we can t recommend her highly enough. The front office staff has never been rude to us and they always have a same day appt available. When Dr. Dill is not available for sick visits we usually see Dr. Bryant and she is also excellent.

We have a great relationship with Dr. Lawley. She is attentive when we finally get in to see her. One reason for the low score is due to the worker they have at the the front window. The lady is boarder line rude as if we were intruding on her day and is not patient/parent friendly. Also, they have a very difficult policy to work with when it comes to getting in to see the doctor. They ONLY allow you to schedule appointments on the day you need the appointment. This makes is very hard to schedule your or your child's day when they need to see the doctor for sickness during the week. My daughter had poison ivy and was feeling terrible. We had to call after we had already kept her out of school only to find out they were booked. The next day I went to the office in the morning with her and was told they could not see her until later on. I asked if I could make an appointment for the next day seeing that they could see her condition, but was told no that I had to call back after 9am which would mean another day from work and her being out of school. The lady at the counter said "We do this because sometimes the child will feel better the next day and the parent would cancel the appointment." I am thinking so what? I am sure they are not lacking in patients. But she saw my child with blotches on her face and arms and hands and could see that it was not going away over night.

Therefore I was moved to post this review. I appreciate the doctor but the administration is not patient friendly and the scheduling policy is very difficult. We are now looking for another pediatrician.

So far this office is the best that I have been to in Madison County. I love Dr. Meadows and Dr. BRYANT. Both are very down to earth. I haven't had any problems with the front desk at all.

Dr. Zbell is the absolute best pediatrician! She really takes time to explain everything and to listen to any questions or concerns you have. Her nurse, Betty, is wonderful, too! The office staff are always extremely helpful and nice. I highly recommend Pediatric Associates of Madison!

This is our first child & he was a preterm, his doctor is good. She is attentive & answers all our questions patiently. But I am very disappointed with our doctor's nurse & the administration here. The nurse hardly smiles & greets us when we go for a visit. She doesn't even ask how the baby is doing & just goes about her job like a robot. The admin everybody is borderline rude, also I tried to prepone a vaccine appointment & when I called in the lady on the phone had a very rude tone & she asked me why I wanted to do it!! & said I couldn't when I told her I had by mistake taken an appointment 2 weeks later than I should. Her reasoning was as long as he was as old as required it was ok even if it was late. My second reason was I was on vacation & so wanted to finish before I go back to work. But since she refused to prepone I will have to take time off work immediately after I return.
Also I had an emergency during a weekend & the doctor on call did not return the call until we had called them back twice to remind & when he finally did, his tone was as though I had disturbed him for something very silly. Being a first time mom everything is scary!! which he did not seem to get.....
I like the doctor so haven't made a change, but I think I am going to try other places very soon.

My wife called yesterday about becoming new patients. We were told to fill out paperwork, so we came by to pick it up today. After filling out paperwork and returning THEN was told no new patients till October. Why wasn't that discussed upfront with us before anything. We even asked!!! We wasted our time with paperwork. Pathetic. The woman at the front area had an attitude and must hate her job.

Just called for a new patient appointment for my son and was informed that before being given an appointment you have to fill out paperwork and either fax/mail/or drop it off and IF one of the docs has room in their caseload they will then call and schedule an appointment for you. That s a lot of hoops to jump through for a parent of two littles without a guarantee of an appointment.
