When I first signed on with Peak, I called daily for months without having any luck. I called to ask if there was anything I could do to improve the likelihood of getting a position. I was told the felony I had was problematic. I was confused, since I've never been arrested. The lady asked me if I was sure, because that was in my file. She couldn't find the physical file, though. It was just noted I was a felon. I called daily for weeks to see if she found the file. Eventually she did, and told me with a congradulatory tone that I wasn't a felon. That would be great to hear if I had been at all concerned I forgot a felony conviction. It wasn't news to me, though. Releasing criminal history information over the phone is illegal, unethical, and the history Peak told me about was also untrue. That's a concern.
They provided me with opportunities and experience which greatly helped pave the way to permanent work in the public sector.

Great experience with this staffing agency. My first time I dealt with Cheryl McDonald who was okay, not the friendliest but okay as I was placed in a great enviornment with good pay.
