I've had the same experience as everyone on here.
I initially thought I was a victim of on-line fraud. Then i remembered, it's curry's! the trusted high street retailer,so I'm safe.
What I have done is emailed customer services and emailed the CEO God himself.
Guess what no response!
Credit cards sometimes get a bad rap, this where they come into their own.
I contacted Mastercard...5 min online form.
They will get me a refund far bigger than cpwb. CALL IN THE MUSCLE.

They stole my money before I had the products, they did not send any update emails on where my products were. 2 of the 3 items came very late the third did not. I tried contacting them, they kicked me off the phone with no manners. I tried their online chat, and got cut off many times. Eventually they told me my third item was out of stock, (even though when I purchased it, it advised me it was in stock.) They said it is my fault due to this. But yet I do not run there systems or know there stock? They asked if I would like my money back, meaning they would of kept my money and I would of not had product. Which is against the law. Then I had to wait over a week for my refund. So overall, do not use this robbing company unless you'd like to be stolen from. An absolute scam, I will not be using them again and I do hope for your sake you do not either.

Experienced difficulty ordering online. The stock shown on their website isn't a true representation of what they in stock. The business telephone team are very not responsive, will take a week to tell you that they don't have items in stock.

However, having complained to the CEO and members of the board directly my issues were resolved. The Executive team are wonderful and very quick to resolve the issue. I am ultimately very happy with the items I received in exchange for my original order.

My advice would be to visit in store and ask that products are price matched to what is advertised on their website.

Essentially a drop-shipping company. There is no use in ordering online; if something is delivered and you're not in the office they return the items to their warehouse and credit your account, no second chances!

The website "stock" amount does not correspond with what items they have available in the warehouse and it takes them a week to tell you they don't have the ordered items available.

If you'd like any items on their website you're better off going in-store, however the prices are substantially higher there (having checked). All issued credit notes can only be used in-store meaning you are tied into spending more.

Having ordered a laptop for delivery (and chased more than 5 times), then subsequently told the item is no longer available, I will not have the item necessary to run my business for the first month of the year.

They ll take your money immediately even if items are not in stock with them or suppliers. You ll then get, hopefully, a message on or after delivery date that they cannot fulfil your order and that they ll refund you. Wishful thinking as you ll need to chase them as they ll forget to process it so be sure to pay with your credit card or buy instore as their service post purchase is terrible.

BEWARE! ONCE YOU PLACE AN ORDER THEY ARE FAST TO TAKE YOUR MONEY AND THEN THERE WILL BE NO WAY TO COMMUNICATE WITH THEM ONCE YOU WAITED SEVERAL DAYS AND WANTED AND UPDATE ON THE EXPECTED DELIVERY. SUDDENLY YOU WILL NOTE THEY CANCELLED YOUR ORDER FOR NO REASON. I AM AWAITING REFUND GOOD 3 WEEKS NOW. AVOID!!

Terrible terrible service. Staff, although polite, are completely impotent and unable to help any situation, seemingly because of the institutional bureaucracy. Website stock levels are not live. When they can't deliver (because stock is not available when they say it is) refunds to CC takes 48hrs!!! This really is not a business service. At all. not even close. This is a absolutely horrendous company. They have sent me the wrong printer twice now. I have returned it 17days ago and have recieve no info whatsoever about my refund. This has left me hindered not being able to do my work. As a business this is unacceptable. I will never shop here again.

After a week, turns out that it wasn't in stock and isn't expected until October.

Okay, I said, cancel the order and refund my money.

PC World says, I can cancel your order but it'll take a couple of days until the money is showing on your account and then you'll have to 'phone us back and request a refund.

What a strange system and a waste of my time.
