Have auto renewed my house insurance for last 4 years but didn't this year. Called to query and operator said the quote had a gone up since last year so they decided to cancel. I asked if we had been sent any correspondences to this effect as I'm sure we need to be informed. Operator then hung up.

Terrible customer service, tried to cancel my policy only for them to carry on charging me at full rates for an additional 11 months. Would rather burn my house down than insure it through these con artists again.

Can't fault customer service. However it would appear that the insurance we have been paying since moving into our house really doesn't cover anything that may need fixed. Waste of money to be honest as we were fully of the belief we were covered for something we were apparently not. Not impressed, especially after paying for insurance for a few years that really does cover absolutely nothing you are likely to need unless you live in a house of sticks

Really awful insurance companies linked to this broker. Tried calling several times a week over the past FOUR months and never able to get through to a claims team. Always on hold for over an hour. Actually, I got through once and they told More

Never had to claim on numerous policies in the past, and when it comes to cancelling any policy in the past with others, it was as simple as a phone call or email from policy holder and that was it any refund due would be swiftly refunded. It was different with this company when I cancelled my policy, they were asking for proof of selling my home before any refund will be looked at And then decided?, if they will refund? Good at taking your money but beware when if you have to cancel... I certainly won't be using or recommending this company in the future. Still no refund offered... Be aware!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY PASS YOU ON TO A PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR COMPANY THAT SAY A CRIME REFERENCE NUMBER IS NOT PROFF OF A CRIME. YOUR NOT INSURED THEY JUST TALE YOUR MONEY

Staff were helpful and clear in the information i required. Also in where I could find information in the documents which were sent to me.

Don't believe their Defacto rating. Do not use this insurance company - and if you are with them, switch quickly, as they have clauses limiting payout on water damage. They will only pay for the water damage - minimal, due to my swift actions - but won't pay for the building work to get to the leak, How ridiculous is that? The surveyor said it was "unusual" to exclude it these days. Bunch of shysters in my opinion.
