With the help of the wonderful receptionist, was able to book a last minute appointment with a stylist for a badly needed trim and style. Tracy was amazing and I will be using her again! Also, Colours has THE BEST selection of high end, effective hair products in Boulder and I left with a few of those. Love this salon! Staff is friendly and accommodating.
Angela is amazing! She s interesting and funny. She s extremely good at her job and was able to recommend a color treatment that was gorgeous and healthier for my hair than what other hair professionals did before. Her prices are very reasonable given her skill level and I m so happy to finally have a salon I love.

Super fabulous spot in Boulder and oddly I have overlooked even though it is right off of Pearl Street! I'm so glad I discovered this gem via a friend. I've seen Tracy now a couple times and I could NOT BE HAPPIER. She's a WONDERFUL stylist and an AMAZING person. She listens carefully and delivers! It has been super smooth with Covid-- scheduling is seamless and I feel very comfortable with the volume/staff in there. They seem all very conscientious. I met the owner once when I stopped by and he was very down to earth and accommodating. SO happy!
Amelia is amazing. As a perfectionist, she always takes her time and strives to please. She is an amazing listener and gives her honest opinion when asked. Hands down, the BEST stylist I have ever had.

Can't love these guys enough. Paul is simply the best master color artist in town, and his professionally gracious staff always make me feel welcome. Sam always greets customers with an "I can help you," and Kaitlin always has a sweet touch at the shampoo bowl. My naturally curly, fine hair suffers in our arid climate, so the Oribe products lavished in my locks make me feel pampered like a salon should make a customer feel.

I needed someone to fix my super faded and sad purple hair, so I made a hail-mary phone call to the Paul Morrison Colours on a Friday and spoke with Morgan. She was very helpful and listened to my dilemma, and thankfully made me a next-day appointment with Sierra! This felt like a miracle! I knew it was a crazy request, but the other places I tried basically laughed me off the phone, in the end though, I'm so glad because it led me to a great salon!
Sierra did a killer job with my hospital-hair, I feel like she understood what I was asking for, and it makes me so happy now! I really appreciated her effort to help me understand the process she planned to use, and her friendly, and easy-going personality. I love my fresh, bold hair, and I really enjoyed my experience--I will definitely be back!
Caitlyn was awesome. I came in for a consultation and she spent 30 min talking through what I wanted to do with the color I've had for several years. Amanda is my go-to girl for cut and color. She is especially amazing with color and has helped me transition from red to brown and back to blonde! Not always an easy task ;) It's important for me to have someone who takes the time to listen and make sure I'm happy with the end result. :) 5 stars !

I went to Colors for the first time on a Saturday. I did get a good haircut, which seems to be hard to find in Boulder, but my stylist was running around taking care of other customers which was a bit annoying. I went back to get my hair colored, on a Saturday, and my stylist had at least 2 other customers she was taking care of at the same time so she was constantly interrupted while coloring my hair. My hair ended up looking awful, I was there for almost 4 hours, I spent almost $200, and I need to go back and have it fixed,. I do not recommend this salon at all.

Katie cut my hair and I love it! I have thick wavy hair and it needs to be cut a certain way. Katie did a great job listening to my needs while also applying her expertise. Hands down best hair cut I've ever received. Highly recommend her!

Don't go to this salon if you want red hair--they do not know what they are doing...I used to get my brown hair the color of Jennifer Aniston's in NYC without a problem EVER. Went to this salon--not only did it take the girl months to get the color somewhat right--when she finally made the color OK I came in for a retouch and asked her to add more fiery red to the highlights she previously did--left the salon with dark burgundy brown hair--all the months of working to get it close to the red I wanted down the drain and all they have is excuses for not being able to fix it--I recommended 2 friends and will tell them now to forget it--very very unhappy with this place--and really long for an East Coast stylist who knows what they are doing!!!!

Paul Morrison Colours is a terrific salon experience. Harmony has been cutting my hair for years and never disappoints. I have had several people color my hair there and they are all super talented. But I must say that if you want to be blonde, see Katy- she's on point.
I have only had positive experiences here. Recently, I came in to get a haircut with one stylist and asked about doing some complicated color and she referred me to another stylist there. Both the cut and the color were phenomenal and I think it's awesome for stylists to "share" clients when they know one of their colleagues would be a better match for the job. Both listened to what I wanted and gave me a good idea of what could and could not be done given my hair texture (cut) and color issues and gave me gorgeous healthy-looking hair. Not only that, but all the staff was attentive and friendly. Yes yes yes!
Yesterday was my first time at Paul Morrison Colours. Paul colored my hair with extreme patience and used various methods (highlight, lowlight, base color) to achieve exactly the perfect combination of cool that I desired. He is far beyond a "hair color specialist". He is a hair color genius who has years of experience training others and working in the scientific side of chemicals/colors. His thorough knowledge of how the process and colors work together is more than evident. I have not been this satisfied with my hair color in many years. I woke up this morning feeling excited about my new "do" rather than just "having another cut and color".
In addition, Nicole gave me a chic, shorter, fun haircut that was precise and spot on. She was a delight to talk to as well. She doesn't stop until it's perfect including touching it up when it's dry!
While most visits to a salon leave me feeling frustrated and just "somewhat satisfied",
Here I felt "heard", understood and pampered. It was truly a pleasurable experience. The entire staff make a great team and pleasant atmosphere.
You will not be dissapointed. Spend the extra money for the best.
Went to get my roots done and have my blonde hair lightened a bit and I absolutely hate the result. I called ahead and told the receptionist exactly what I wanted to get a price on it. I then discussed what I wanted with the stylist to make sure of the price. This woman destroyed my hair. She completely beached my roots and the first few inches of my hair and it looks so fake and cheap. She turned all my hair one color and ruined all the highlights and lowlights I had. My scalp still burns from the amount of bleach she put on my head. She also wouldn't stop trying to sell me products. I normally enjoy my time at a salon but I couldn't with her constantly trying to sell me products. I then go to pay and it's $400. I'm a full time student paying my own way through college and I don't get to pamper myself often. All this girl did was put an unhealthy amount of bleach in my hair and I had to pay a ridiculous amount of money for it I literally cried on the way home I was so upset. I don't even want to go out in public I'm so embarrassed with what she did to my hair. If I could give this negative stars, I would. Such a waste of money for such an awful job.
Colours is by far my favorite salon I have ever visited. Their stylists are truly the best in the business . Each stylist specializes in their area of expertise whether it be cut or color. Everyone one that works at the salon is professional on every level and they are all so warm and kind. I would truly recommend Colours to anyone and I do.

I have dark curly hair that I wear it straight often. I showed up with my curly hair and I was put off by the consultation with the owner. They are not willing to work with you. Not very encouraging place for people who don t get color often.

I had a major color change/correction with Nicole from many shades of brown to a highlighted/lowlighted salt and pepper to transition my gray. It is stunning!! Nicole took a lot of time and care to figure out what would work best on my hair and for my goals, and did a beautiful job. I could not be happier. She gave me great directions for taking care and maintaining she made sure it s not high maintenance and I love my new hair. I d recommend Nicole to anyone for color (and cut she did a great job on that too!).

I felt very nervous about going into a salon with all that is going on. However, the salon felt airy and safe. I felt that precautions were in place and I really appreciated being put in front of an open door to add more ventilation. Emily is very professional and really is dedicated to making her clients happy. Love her work!

Jennifer Velez worked an absolute miracle on my hair! I was box dying my hair black for 5 years and I was tired of the maintenance so I went to Jennifer to get a color correction with the eventual goal of getting back to my natural dirty blonde color. I was expecting that I would need several sessions to remove all of my uneven black box dye, but in one session, she was able to take me from 5 years of black box dye to a gorgeous dirty blonde color! And my hair is lush and healthy after that process. I couldn't be happier with my results and I can't recommend Jennifer enough. She is incredibly skilled with color correction and a wonderful stylist.
As always Paul and his staff go beyond what might be expected with quality and service. The end result is consistently magnificent. Thank you!
