As always we had a fantastic weekend at Pawtuckaway. We camp alot as a family. Memorial Day weekend is a long standing tradition where 4 generations gather and camp together. Pawtuckaway is our favorite camping destination.

I have come to this park in several different capacities and home to love it more each time. I love paddling around on the lake. I love the beach with amazing facilities to include a playground and changing house. I love the trails. Wonderful park. Only drawback is the difficulty finding it.

I've been to most parks in the New Hampshire State Park system. This is my favorite. Absolutely gorgeous. Lovely beach with picnic tables and grills for you as well as a campground store, snack shop and life guards on duty. The campgrounds here are spacious and nicely distanced. Great walking terrain, mountain biking trails. Granite deposits or "islands" adorn the lake. This is an excellent kayaking, canoeing spot. Fisher people rig up for largemouth bass, smallmouth, yellow perch, white perch, crappie.

Great park to take ur kids and family. Well maintained, with plenty to do for kids. Biking, hiking, play area, picnic tables and access to water. U can rent canoe or kayak, take a long walk, bike or hike, nice area to BBQ and relax . All in all good for a day trip.

Clean bathrooms, decent prices at the little store and to get in, clean large beach, nice playground equipment, plenty of shade and picnic tables (but I'm sure those go fast on the weekends) kayake, canoe rentals are fairly priced, my two complaints are the pebbled sand hurt our feet and there was a large population of Canadian geese so you had to watch for their droppings. The eater is tested daily and results are available online through the NH Environment Services website.

The bouldering entrance off of round pond rd is a great little hike especially in the morning and my dog loves all the water. Parking at this entrance is limited so show up early and dont double park anyone!

Pawtuckaway state park is (in my opinion) the worst of all the NH state parks. Seems neglected and overrun with too many people and trash in places along the beach area. The worst part though? The very bold and obnoxious Canadian geese that think the beach is theirs. The parent geese with gosling's are aggressive. I feel like I can't relax because the geese are always underfoot and so is their scat. It never fails that anytime I've gone to PSP the geese ruin my time. Can something be done about this??

Excellent state park. Diverse options for many recreational opportunities. Hiking, camping, biking or fishing or biking. This place has it all. Has a legendary bouldering field as well. Recommended.

Beautiful park , great hiking, excellent bouldering, some of the trails are doggy friendly . There are free entries on the Deerfield side and when the roads are open you can drive to the boulder field, but the roads are pretty rugged for a regular car

Great park! Super long trails, great for walking your dog too. Kinda easy to get lost on the trails though. The maps that the park office provides should be a little better.....although I do always find my way out lol. But I wouldn t More

Very beautiful state park. We reserved camp site on Horse island and it was fantastic, right on the lake waters. Sites are large and separated enough to give you enough privacy. Rest rooms were clean. Beach is very clean and beautiful. Many picnic tables right on the beach for your family. Very nice play area, right on the beach for your little ones. Overall, a really nice family camping experience at this state park.

Been going here annually for 13 years. Its an amazing place for family trips, the lake is great, plenty large to go explore islands on a kayak or paddle board, but big enough to do water skiing or tubing with a boat. The camp sites are simple and have everything you need with a fire ring and a picnic table. They have bathrooms, they are about as clean as you would expect bathroom shacks in the middle of the woods to be. Overall a great place, nice camp store and only 20-30 mins away from a large super market.

My boyfriend and I recently camped here in July, 2018. We really liked our campsite there were no campers around us. It was only about 15 minutes from town where we ended up ordering pizza on our last night because we royally F*d up our dinner. Bathrooms were ok, the only thing is the showers that bothered me. There weren't a lot and they weren't the cleanest. Loved the hikes and the store was very well equipped with things you may need. Will most certainly return. Also if you like beer there is a brewery near by called neighborhood brewing company I recommend you try - they also have great grilled cheese!!

Absolutely in love with coming here. It's always clean, the sites are perfect. We have only stayed on horse island that way we can launched our kayaks right from our site. I would recommend any site from Pawtuckaway State Park. So many things to do! There is nothing better than watching the sunrise with the loons on the water.
