This place was great and I'm so glad I found them. Parking was easy. The office is very clean and well appointed. The staff were extremely friendly, on-time, and efficient. They made the entire process simple. The doctors were informative and caring. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Oh my god, I was shocked by how wonderful the care here was. I expected to be seen by a harried doctor who would rush me in and out, just like I am at most doctor's offices. Dr. Khare was the complete opposite. Even though this was his first time meeting me, he took his time and chatted with me as if I were a lifelong patient. I hate going to the doctor, because doctor's usually make me feel like I'm wasting their time. Dr. Khare made me feel cared for and understood. I will definitely be back.

Update: Initially I posted a one star review (see below) I received a somewhat passive aggressive response from the owner basically suggesting not coming back. I wish instead of disregarding patients needs he would just work on his business practice/be more concerned to fix the situation. I brushed it off because I thought it was funny and I kept going back because I like one of the medspa doctors and also one of the PA s (which I plan to still do while they are still there). Today once again I m disappointed in the support staff. I paid for bloodwork and received a voicemail that my results were in. I called back and spoke with Erica, who claimed to be a nurse. She was dismissive about all my questions and told me if I wanted an explanation to come back in and make an appointment to speak with someone. Although the results were normal a few categories were low and like any other patient who goes to the doctor to stay informed of their health I just had a few follow up questions. Very frustrating to have questions regarding your health completely disregarded. I guess I ll find out more when I m back in 6 months since I don t want to pay for another appointment just to have a few questions answered.

I would say go here if you like quick and easy appointment booking, avoid if you re looking for a place that cares about establishing a good patient-doctor relationship. But all this being said I love my PA and one of the medspa doctors- so it s worth it to weigh the pros and cons when deciding (or at least it was for me when I was considering switching)

You have to be seen every month for prescriptions which adds up. Reese in the front office makes booking appointments almost impossible. I like my doctor but it s almost not worth the huge hassle of having to go through her- it always ends up being a ton out of pocket when I am in network. My friends all pay much much less than me for basic appointments.

Also they blow your phone up with automated calls and texts messages. Nonstop.

These guys make everything so comfortable and easy. The waiting room is lovely & stocked with water, soda, & coffee. The wait time is minimal (though I recommend making an appointment if you can) and the whole team is exceptionally kind and knowledgable. They have PCPs if you're looking for primary care and they even offer appointments over the phone/via Skype. Definitely the best place for quick and efficient care in Chicago.

I ve been going to innovative express care since moving to Chicago and I always feel like I am taken seriously and cared for by the attentive nurses, PAs and doctors. Thank you!

This place is amazing. They are so friendly and knowledgeable. They really spend a lot of time getting to know you and educate you, and genuinely care about you getting the maximum benefits from your treatment. Farah is awesome!

Innovative Express Care has been my first positive experience with urgent care. I initially took my 82-yr-old mother there and was so impressed with their responsiveness/flexibility in scheduling her appointment, as well as the time and care they took during her appointment to address her concerns ( she hates being rushed, but they took plenty of time and were even joking around with her). I then recommended the clinic to my brother, who had a similar very positive experience. Finally just recently I had a need to go there myself, and was so impressed by the process all-around: from the easy scheduling to the actual appointment to the great follow-up. I especially love that I can ask the doctor questions via email and he is very personable and responsive.

Tried to get a Covid-19 Antibody test. There appointment system is horrible. After booking and days of constant reminders from them, when I get there, I am asked to fill out more forms, and then and only then, I am told they don't take my Insurance, Ambetter Illinicare HMO and wanted to charge me $250, what a waste of time. How about confirming insurance requirements on your website, before allowing people, including your staff, from wasting time and booking bad appointments. Complete incompetence.

This place is so wonderful it's unreal. I am a recent graduate and am just beginning to figure out how my own HMO insurance plan works. I was turned away from Physician's Immediate Care and found Innovative Express Care on Google. It was truly a blessing in disguise. I was impressed from the moment I walked in - with the waiting room, amenities, front desk staff, and check in process. The PA who saw me was so great that I ended up walking back into the clinic after my visit to request her card and contact information. I was given that plus a membership packet with additional information. Not only was I well taken care of during my unscheduled walk-in visit, but Innovative makes follow-up calls after running lab tests to inform you of any changes to your care or to reassure you that your prescribed treatment is the best option, something that no other urgent care has done for me in the past. As if I wasn't impressed already, I received the warmest email from the personal email account of the president and founder of Innovative Express Care after just one visit. I have never felt so personally attended to and am so grateful that Innovative is covered by my restrictive insurance plan!!

Great experience. Arrived, filled out some basic paper work, and as soon as I was done, I was seen. Very fast, and the environment is comfortable. The staff is also very helpful and friendly.

I have been going here for the past couple of years for routine checkups and for a couple of other instances. I personally would not go there again. I was there once for a wrist injury and after a X-Ray I was prescribed prednisone even though I had previously mentioned I had peptic stomach ulcers, which flared up drastically after taking the first dose. I thought they would have looked at my history from previous appointments since they had prescribed me omeprazole. I left that appointment after they told me the X-Ray looked fine, but then they chased me down before I got in my Uber and told me that I might have a fracture and needed to get a MRI. I skipped work for the MRI and got the results a few days later stating I had tendonosis. Now I don't mind taking the precaution of taking and X-Ray or MRI, but I think its unprofessional overlooking a potential fracture the first time around. Also last time I went in for my vaccinations to register for university classes and my records looked funky according to my provider so I asked if I could call up the University records office to make sure I wasn't missing any vaccinations or getting re-immunized for something I already had taken (it gets pricey). The nurse giving me the vaccines was super inpatient and rude stating that she had "told me so" about my records. It was really awkward leaving the office after that interaction. Maybe my experience was a fluke and the nurse was having a bad day, it was early in the morning. Thankfully, there are hundreds of other places I can go to.

Easy to schedule, verified my insurance in no time. Appointment was on time and didn t have to wait.

This place is absolutely amazing. The happiest people I have ever been around. One woman was giving samples of a CBD oil that was available for purchase for patients waiting for their card in the mail. It was a fairly quick and easy process. They said to give it two hours but I was out of there in an hour and a half. Great group of people.

Innovative Express Care is The best Urgent Care in Chicago. Dr Khare and staff are very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. They take thier time to listen to your symptoms and do not rush you out.

I have been coming here for the past 2 years. The facility is very clean and welcoming. You can get in and out quickly with proper diagnosis. Plenty of parking too.

Let me start by saying I don't go to the doctor unless I'm dying! I was beyond impressed with the effiecincy of this office! I went in because I was feeling awful thinking this was only an urgent care facility but boy was I wrong! Everyone was extremely friendly, Dr Khare sat with me went over my symptoms and made me feel very comfortable! Best part is I was in and out in less than 40 minutes!! Needless to say he is now my new primary care physician!

DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE... I got tested on 7/16 and today 7/21 I m still waiting for my results. I went to the place again today and they told me that it could take up to 7 days for me to receive the results. It says 3-5 days on the website. I tried to log in using their portal and this is the message I received: We are sorry, this email does not have access to any patient records at this practice. Please try a different email or contact your practice to update the email on file. That s the email I provided. Also, they never answer the phone. It s a voicemail and no one calls me back. My insurance paid for this. This is unacceptable! I have a job and I have kids to take care of. I need a response and peace of mind! Let me add that I sent an email to: health@innovativeexpresscare.com Awaiting response. The front desk person wrote my physical address incorrectly and I needed to go back for them to fix it. And last but not least, there is a lack of professionalism and communication between the person completing the paperwork and the person completing the test. On 7/16 the nurse asked me what type of test I needed because she wasn t aware. I told her that is expected for her to know what to do prior to the test...

I went to get a rapid test yesterday. Doctor told me I would hear within four hours. I have had friends come here and get results in 30 minutes. I never heard back, I have called 5 times and have not been contacted. Do not come here. I would like a refund for the "rapid test". Not right to charge people for a service you are not delivering.

We had a 3:30 appt time but when I called was told to come ASAP. We waited 2.5 hours to be seen for a 5 minute visit. Please know this was a very thorough visit and am happy with the visit but not happy to be told to go in earlier than the appt time. I asked several times why was taking so long and was told that we should not have been told to go in early.

Amazingly wonderful staff who genuinely care about you, your condition, and reaching your goal for feeling better and improving all around. The most kind and understanding doctors I ve ever seen. Keep doing you, innovative!

Everyone I ve seen there for my various stupid minor injuries has been great! Everyone s really nice, which on top of being good at they do, makes a somewhat painful experience a little less painful.

PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE A WOMAN WITH ADHD CONCERNS: I recently had an appointment to address some focus/attention concerns because of new ADHD research and women. I thought a place that calls itself Innovative would be a good bet.

While marketing to women explicitly, the diagnostic tools used were not recent or based on women s experiences. I asked about the assessment tool and was told it was one that anyone could find with a basic google search. It is a dated tool based on ADHD presentation in young boys.

For the diagnostic outcome, I was emailed a template that contradicted/ignored initial parts of the assessment conversation (that happened 48 hours earlier). When I followed up with questions about more recent research and how medicine has historically favored some diagnoses for some genders, I was emailed back but was given no further information, just encouraged to get a second opinion. Literally, not a single concern or question was addressed.

MAJOR TAKE AWAYS: If you are looking for innovative and individualized health care, keep searching. (They can provide some good sources for second opinions after your generic $175 assessment.) If you want telemedicine without insurance, come on in. The innovation is the convenience, sadly not the in the care.

WHATS GOOD: The scheduling is easy and the practitioners are cordial. The LCSW was nice and tried to put me at ease, but now it seems she was just looking to pacify any real concerns I had about the process.

IN SUMMARY: For me, it was a major disappointment as far as the actual care and willingness to treat individuals rather than generic masses. One day, maybe women's health/mental health will matter more or be researched and understood with same depth, but not here. DON'T BY THE $175 SNAKE OIL. (Sadly, I have at least one good friend with a similar story I only learned after the appointment.)

Update: I followed up with the clinic owner based on his response (sharing my name, the name of the LCSW I worked with, and pointed again to the gap between his assessment tools and the target audience).
Update: He failed to follow up. If his approach to patient care is reflected in his tone, though, be warned.

Very professional. I was helped in a timely manner. Very good explanation for what they believed the issue was, how they were going to treat it, and signs to look out for if I needed further assistance.

My overall experience was amazing. Innovative Express Care really goes above and beyond to make sure everyone's needs are taken care of. I was there to begin the process of getting my medicinal card. The service was very fast, and efficient. The staff was also very friendly as well. I'm definitely going to recommend this facility to my friends and family.

A few months ago, I went for an annual physical and annual lady-exam, and I was seen by Mark Jaspar. He was fantastic. Addressed all my concerns. He was extremely friendly and I left feeling taken care of. They sent my prescriptions electronically to my preferred pharmacy, and called me promptly when lab results were in.

Because of this amazing first impression, I had no doubts whether I'd return should I need to.

Yesterday morning, I called the office hoping to schedule another lady-exam for (**TMI ALERT, if you're grossed out by ailments relating to the female body, and would rather just assume they're delicate little flowers, skip to the next paragraph**) what I assumed was a stubborn yeast infection that wouldn't go away, they were able to schedule me for an appointment within two hours. How amazing is that?! I also wanted to get a refill on medicines before I left for a trip overseas.

I didn't catch the nurse's name that I saw first in the exam room, but she was great. Standard vitals and "Why are you here?" questions. I tend to ramble and share too much information, as evidenced in this post, but I didn't at all feel rushed by her.

In my experience with doctors' offices and hospitals, you tend to have to repeat things over and over. It was so delightful when Dr. Khare came into the room, he introduced himself and immediately said "So I hear you're here for XYZ..." That small gesture spoke volumes to me. It's clear the office is organized, and they view you as a human patient and not just another insurance billee.

Despite having read my chart, and having spoken to the nurse, Dr. Khare still listened intently as I over-shared and rambled. He had a wonderful demeanor and personality; the type of person that you feel comfortable sharing absolutely anything with.

Once of my regular medications is exceedingly expensive, despite my insurance and prescription plan, and I off-handedly mentioned this to Dr. Khare. He and his staff diligently researched another option, and found one that was $100 cheaper. That's like, 50 steak tacos per month!

The office also stocks certain medications and can offer them at a significantly lower cost to you, in hand, at your visit. Even certain pills that are OTC, like Prilosec, are nearly double the price at CVS or Walgreens than they are here.

I don't have a primary care physician, but Dr. Khare said I'd be in great hands with a doctor on their staff. I look forward to scheduling an appointment with her.

This place is the worst stay away at all costs. They were happy to take my money up front but now they seemed to have disappeared. no one picks up the phone no matter what number you call. The little i've seen is they refer you to an email or fax which is evasive BS. Probably advisable to stay away from this place rather than risk them botching a test or something

I was looking for a doctor for a yearly physical and had heard that Innovative Express Care was a great place to go that was very unlike the typical experience at a doctor's office. I was given very good advice.

From the moment I walked in it was a completely easy and, dare I say it, enjoyable experience. The lobby is open, comfortable, with plenty of natural light. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and attentive. I filled out all of my necessary info on a tablet and was offered water and coffee immediately. As soon as I was done filling out my info I was seen by the nurse and doctor. Literally zero minutes waiting! Everyone was extremely kind, helpful and knowledgeable. As part of my physical I had some blood taken and tests were run. I went over the test results with Dr. Khare less than 10 minutes later! The efficiency here was stunning compared to what I was used to virtually anywhere else.

I feel like thought was put into every part of this practice, from the space, to the people, to the technology used, and how they want their customers to feel. I will not hesitate to come back again and if things come up this will absolutely be the first place I come if urgent care is needed for me or my family. I work nearby at DePaul University and could see this as a very easy and convenient place for students to use as well. I would not hesitate to recommend Innovative Express Care for anyone in Chicago, period.

I am not one to write reviews, but I feel I would be doing a disservice if I didn't share my experience:
In November 2018, I visited the clinic because of swelling in my fingers after falling. After x-rays were taken, I was told I had a break in my hand (in a place where one didn't exist) and was advised the exact OPPOSITE of what a doctor at Rush Hospital said a day later.
After going to Rush, I learned that the break was actually in my finger, not a metacarpal bone. Additionally, I was told the splint I was given at Innovative express care was the worst thing to wear while my finger was healing. Because the splint was static, my finger would not be able to move-- a lack of movement can cause permanent stiffness!
I then received a bill charging $80 for the application of a splint type that I did not receive. After getting in contact with the billing department, they were only able to tell me that their notes said I had received it and were unable to give me conclusive information about whom to contact for more information. I guess I should have paid more attention to the two separate clients at Innovative who complained about incorrect billing while I was in the waiting room.

Everyone at this clinic was super friendly and nice. All so very understanding and helped me in the best way possible. Nothing but good things to say about them and the staff. Will 100% go back.

This group continues to amaze me with how organized they are. My appointment for a regular COVID-19 test was over in under 10 minutes and that s because of how seamless their test site is. 100% would recommend.

Im so glad i found this place. Had an urgent womens health issue and was able to book an appointment online for the same weekend. Highly recommend.

It was good. I was expecting it to be like a typical doctor's visit and it wasn't, which kind of threw me off a bit. I thought I was going to have a meeting with a nurse, then Dr. Khare, etc. However, once I settled in and watched the process I figured it out. Everyone was very nice and helpful. I am a bit confused with the online phone meeting on this coming Tuesday but will contact the office for clarification.

If you get tested for a RAPID COVID-19 test, please make sure that you receive an itemized bill stating what you were charged a $150 for because YOU CAN SUBMIT THIS TO YOUR OWN INSURANCE COMPANY! COVID-19 tests are FREE! The CARES ACT has made all COVID-19 related medical charges covered at 100%! They do 2 tests because they can then charge your insurance company for 1 test which is covered at 100% and then YOU PAY OUT OF YOUR POCKET $150. This is a very sad and deceptive practice that you are running. YOU WILL GET CAUGHT one way or another for cheating people who are worried about having COVID-19. If you need to be tested rapidly, Physicians Immediate Care does testing on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays but it is on a first come, first serve basis and you will have to spend more time there but you're not paying $150 out of your own money.

It was pretty fast. They have a small parking lot that s free. Nice and simple experience. And I they have a texting portal if I have questions.

First physical in a really long time. Wasn t asking for too much, but the staff that took my blood/vitals seemed to be in a huge rush and both ladies were very short with me. Doctor was sweet but was with her for a very short amount of time as well. Since this was my first PCP visit in a really long time, I don t know if it s normal for a check up to be so informal and under 10 min. Mixed feelings. Will try one more time.

Horrible experience! Third time I came, always thought it was great but it went down quickly! I went there because one of my ear was clogged, got out of there after spending more than 1:30h and not only they couldn t solve the problem but my second ear was clogged too!!!!! So I came out of there completely dizzy, and couldn t hear anything anymore! And they asked me to come back in a few days!!!! I will never, ever put one feet in this unprofessional place! And I recommend you not too!!! Avoid this place!!!!

Making the appointment was incredibly easy. The office feels modern, convenient and professional. Everyone who helped me was extremely nice and the doctor was a huge help. She encouraged me to follow up through the portal and she was very fast to reply.

I have been more than satisfied with the care at Innovative Express. I see Jenna, a nurse practitioner and I always leave my appointments feeling like she listened to my concerns and truly cared. She never makes me feel rushed and sometimes brings her dog in with her because she knows I love him! I appreciate that I can send messages through the app and get responses in a timely manner. I have recommended Innovative Express to multiple friends in the area because of my personal experience and because of the convenient hours.

Came here for an urgent care appointment. The staff was helpful and direct while still caring and pleasant. The building is bright and clean and I love that there s free parking.
I m going to see them as my primary care as well.

Well, I hate to drop a review like this about a doctor but we had a horrible experience with Dr.Joseph Brawka. I fixed an appointment with Dr.Rahul Khare and ended up meeting Joseph with symptoms of Fever, Headache, Diarrhea and this guy freaked me out with non-stop hypothesis of what are all the critical condition that I may get into!.. For God's sake, I felt like saying "Shut up" and waited for him to finish to get out!. He showed no signs of a experienced doctor but rather jus threw his "Ifs and buts". Its has been 2 months but I am still so mad at how uncompassionate he was that day!..Mr.Joseph- It is supposed to be Express care not Express Scare!

Jenna is the best I ve ever had. She really listens, is upfront, and makes me feel super welcome. She s super responsive online and that translates to her office visits. I followed her to innovative from a previous practice only to find that Innovative was an office as spectacular as her! There is no such thing as a stupid questions and I feel truly welcome and taken care of in her care. I recommend Innovative Express Care to everyone!

Great place to have a quick evaluation. They get you in and out and on the way yet you don t feel rushed. I will definitely return as needed.

Overall, great first impression. The facility itself is clean and easily accessible. All of the staff is very nice and helpful. The front desk receptionist helped me check in seamlessly. I had filled out my new patient papers online via the link the clinic emailed me. I m forgetful so I appreciate the mobile text message reminders I received to confirm my appointment. I had a morning appointment and was seen within 10 mins of checking in. I was recommended PA-C Jenna as a care provider from a coworker who was very pleased with how attentive she is. I would highly recommend this clinic.

Had an severely bad cold, and from another recommendation I chose Express Care. I was taken back how easy the setup was for a new patient, and the ease of in & out transition, and with helpful and pleasant staff. This was one of the most obvious reasons for a review I've ever had to make. If there are any doubts, read the other positive reviews. It's outstanding to know that there are places like this, and I encourage anyone with an issue to give this play a try.
