I went in there feeling sick and I was sent home without anything other than some suggested nasal spray to relieve congestion, which I refused. Ended up having to pay $200+ for a flu/strep test swab in additional to the $175 doctor visit. It would have been nice if when they offered these tests to tell me how expensive they were from the beginning. Even after the tests and they told me I was fine and just a basic cold, I asked to be prescribed antibiotics just to be cautious (if things took a turn for the worse) and they was sent home empty handed.

Anybody considering going here for flu-like symptoms, you're better off just going to CVS minute clinic or seeing a doctor that actually pays attention to you, rather than just ordering expensive tests, then sends in nurses afterwards to listen to you with a stethoscope.

I was charged $210 for a "splint" for a broken hand that wasn't even put on properly. I removed it within an hour of leaving. I would not recommend this place.
To my response- the $210 was solely for the splint. The materials for the splint would cost no where near that price and I think it is absurd to charge $210 for a service that wasn't even done properly.

I ve been to this location before and had great, fast service however when I came in on Sunday I was disappointed. I went online and made an appointment and arrived 10 mins early. I waited over an hour to see the doctor and there was 2 people that were walk ins without appointments that were seen before me.
Once I got to the back I litterally waited 45 more mins for the doctor. I m not sure why it took so long but all the other people that went in after me were done before me.
The staff were nice but I just wish it didn t take me 2.5 hours to get medication for a cough.

When I thought I had broken my ankle they were very kind and caring toward my injury. They got me in right away. They gave me x-rays and within minutes knew that it was a bad sprain. They gave me crutches, an air cast, and a wrap with instructions. I am now almost 100% and they are great and wonderful so happy I didn't have to deal with an ER experience instead I was assisted right away, and cared for with compassion and knowledge. Love this place for my medical needs.

Awful customer experience. They email and tell you to call with questions but NEVER ANSWER! YOU only get the doctor's voicemail--which is supposed to reassure you I guess. PLUS THEY PRICE GUAGE! $150 FOR RAPID TEST---WHEN THE GOVERNMENT IS COVERING TESTS. WON'T EVEN TAKE INSURANCE FOR TESTING. VERY SUSPECT AND NOT CUSTOMARY WITH REST OF THE INDUSTRY! I WOULD GO TO PHYSICIANS IMMEDIATE CARE---MANY SITES TO CHOOSE FROM AND FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BUT IN THE MORNING THERE IS RAPID TESTING AVAILABILITY.

During my first appointment, I appreciated the orderliness and general atmosphere of the office and room. Dr. Cabugason was friendly and offered strong feedback on my concerns. She made what is often a nerve-wracking experience incredibly comfortable. When I sent a followup question the next day, she promptly responded and took care of a prescription issue. She's great!

I had a wonderful experience here. I needed a new primary care doctor and it was such a relief finding Dr. Khare after having terrible luck elsewhere. I called in and they got me an appointment the next day (and were flexible when I needed to change the time). The person at the front desk was really friendly and the waiting area is very nice. Dr. Khare was personable, understanding, and very helpful. He listened to my needs and he seems very knowledgeable. I definitely recommend going here!

Overall my experience the staff were professional and friendly and getting tested went smoothly, but I do not recommend paying the $150 dollar rapid test. I received a text the same day as negative and then got a voicemail 6 days later that my lab results were positive. I understand it s a preliminary test but I wasn t aware/informed that the rapid test isn t as effective as the standard lab test. I d suggest better consultation during the rapid test so people are aware that the results can change. What s the point of paying for a rapid test that s inaccurate when you can still have a positive lab result?

I have multiple health issues and I have never found a clinic that does EVERYTHING possible to meet all your needs. This is the greatest clinic with the most caring doctors, nurses and staff. I wouldn't trade them for the world! Thank you Innovative Express.

My experience from the front desk woman to the assistant and then provider was excellent! Everyone was very polite, helpful and confidential with my medical issue. Although I had researched the clinic the night before as well as made an appointment at that time for the next day, I felt very comfortable (as if I had been going to this clinic for a long time ago) from entering to leaving. I would definitely recommend Innovative Express Care, especially for the extra confidential medical concerns thatno one likes to discuss.

I am very disappointed with my visit today, 5/23/2...

I am very disappointed with my visit today, 5/23/2018.
- My appointment was at 12:45pm and I didn't see Dr. Gileon until 1:30pm
- Dr. Gileon was not aware of the IV hydration offered by this clinic and is advertised on the website.
- In my previous visit on 4/15/2018, the nurse/technician injected a pink solution (not explained to me what it was) into the bag of IV and added B12.
But in today's IV, the nurse did not add anything to the bag.
- I asked the nurse if the B12 was added into the bag and she quickly said no.
- After the IV was done dripping she told me I can do, I asked if I'm still getting the B12 or if it was in the bag, she mummed to something like a yes.
- The nurse who I did not get her name, had a lip piercing, was very unpleasant. I politely asked if I should remove my sweater knowing that she will have to put a needle in my arm, and she responded coldly "you can if you want". So I asked if she's ok and she responded "mmhmm". So I said you sound unhappy and the reason I was concerned was because I don't want someone having a bad day pricking me. She had to prick me twice and the IV hydration was painful, unlike my first experience. She was not friendly whatsoever. I am leaning towards not ever coming back to this place.
- 3 hours of my day was wasted
- The doctor did not know the services this clinic offers
- I do not think I received the services I came here for especially the B12 which was important to my visit
- I probably just paid $35 in copay plus whatever the clinic will charge my insurance for 1/2 liter of nothing but water in a bag.
Most expensive water I've ever spent money on, and I wasted gas and 3 hours of my day.

If this was your experience, wouldn't you be livid?

My primary care physician moved to this facility and I followed her. I have had one issue with billing before and it was immediately corrected. I have never had anything but pleasant staff members interact with me and am always almost immediately seen when I scheduled an appointment. I feel that I have one of the best care providers. This whole facility really does care for their patients and I hope that more people will begin to open places like this. Never have I felt more listened to until I met my PCP. I highly suggest this facility!

After having a long term cold I decided to get it checked out. I ve seen a few Innovative primary care physicians, and they are all great. However, today I had the pleasure to be seen by Jayme Sibley, she was absolutely wonderful! Not only did she take the time to ask me all of my symptoms, but she also answered all of my concerns. Explaining with detail her thought process of what the issue could be .Jayme also took the time to show me how does GoodRx work to make sure I spent as less as possible to get my prescription. All the staff from their receptionist to their nurses are all wonderful!!! Every single person in that building welcomes you with a smile and make you feel very cared for. I would highly recommend innovative Express Care to anyone!

It was fine but now you cannot even get a hold of anyone when you call. Your voicemail is interrupted by a voice saying "We've sent you a text" yet they never respond to the texts. Most tasks through innovative are much harder than they need to be, I would recommend avoiding them and wish I had

The service as Innovative express care is good but I have had multiple billing issues now and the latest I have been trying to get clarification on for months. All they say is its correct, and wont actually answer my questions as to why the exact same service 3 days apart was billed at to totally different rates and much higher than ever before. As I say this is not the first billing issue but usually I have been able to resolve them.Very unhappy

Very friendly and very quick service. I had a 5:15 p.m. appointment and I showed up about 30 minutes early since I already had my paperwork filled out over the phone all I had to do was check in and sit down. Promptly at 5:15 p.m. my name was called. I was in and out with the doctor in less than 30 minutes. Doctor was very professional and very helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Beware of their billing practice!!

At the office we were asked for insurance, which we initially provided. While the front desk employee was copying the insurance information, we decided we didn't want to use our insurance after all, and would pay the cost of the visit on the spot ($175). We let the employee know that we do not want to use insurance, and asked her to remove the information from the file. She said no problem, and we paid the fee by credit card.

Well, this medical provider proceeded to bill the insurance anyways. I called their billing department, and let them know we paid for our visit on the spot by credit card, and that we had requested them not to bill the insurance in the first place. Even though it is illegal to bill the insurance after we had requested it not be done , I wanted to give them the benefit of doubt, mistakes happen, and give them the opportunity to fix it.

I was told it would be fixed. And then I got another bill asking for a payment. It's been over a month, and this situation still is not fixed. At this point this is not an honest mistake anymore, but willful ignorance.

I've sent two emails to who I was told was the manager, and no reply from either email. In addition to that, I've made at least a half a dozen phone calls, asking to speak to a manager. There is never one available.

I'm filing an official billing complaint with the Illinois Attorney General, and initiating a complaint with BCBSIL regarding the medical centers fraudulent billing practices. Unfortunately, it seems this is the only way to get issues fixed with Innovative Platinum Care.

They've had me on hold for over an hour now to speak with a Manager... What they are actually doing is hoping I will just hang up. No, they just hung up on me after 1:15 on hold.

Update:
The owner reached out, apologized, and remedied the situation. Except for the billing situation our experience was a positive one.

I am extremely happy to have found Innovative Express Care. I believe they are ahead of the curve and their time in the health and wellness space. I look forward to watching them implement new technology/strategies that will not only help shape the future of health but also items that I can implement into my daily routine hopefully helping me become a more healthy adult.

A few weeks ago I went to Innovative Express for an annual check-up and this past weekend, I brought my 9 year old son in after a pretty severe allergic reaction to a bug bite. The facility is beautiful and the service -- front desk, nurses, and doctors -- is outstanding. Everyone was kind and was very respectful of our health concerns and time. My son had some issues with the steroid that he needed to take to calm his allergic reaction and the doctor was extremely patient; he tried four different ways (liquid, flavored liquid, pills, shot) to make it a good experience for my son -- and somehow he succeeded in doing so. The follow up was also remarkable -- the doctor called that afternoon to check on my son and, in both of our cases, summaries of our visits were online the next day. I strongly recommend Innovative Express -- fantastic experience and exactly how I believe health care should be provided.

I don t think I ve ever had such a great experience as i had today. My previous doctor had a wait time of over an hour. I was seeen right away and everyone was super friendly. Doctor Elaine Cabugason was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. You can tell she not only cares about my overall health but my money as well.

I highly recommend this place for your healthcare needs. I ve been here 3-4 times and have had 5 Star experiences each time. Everyone is friendly and informative. They also have a pretty amazing waiting room. I usually make my appointments on Zocdoc and don t have to wait more than 10 minutes to be called in to a room. With a walk in- you also don t have to wait very long. I will continue to go here for my health needs !!

I see Michelle Nagel PA innovative Express Care in Chicago. She is an incredible resource, very thoughtful, ensures all bases are covered, remembers our last visit. Doesn't stare at the computer. She ordered an IUD for me prior to billing insurance to be sure that insurance would cover it so I don't get stuck with a bill. I never feel like she is rushing me and she communicates what I need to do and ensures I understand.

I haven't had the same experience with other providers at innovative but michelle keeps me coming back

This place was amazing! All of the staff was super friendly and helpful. I did not have to wait at all to be seen, and then, exam, x-rays and 12 stiches all in less than one hour. I was very impressed with the level of care that I received as well as the facility itself. The free and easy parking is also a huge bonus. I highly recommend Innovative Express!

Just the best doctor's office you could imagine.
1. Everything is up-to-date technologically. You sign in with an iPad (if you don't check in online ahead of time). They offer skype/facetime appointments with a clinician. It's all super efficient.
2. I've never waited more than like 10 minutes.
3. Nurse Practitioner Meredith Villareal is THE BEST. She is kind, an excellent listener, but also quick and efficient. She makes me feel comfortable about going to the doctor. She really listens and cares! Cannot recommend her enough.
4. I was sick and work required a doctor's note. I called Innovative, got a telemedicine appointment, had the appointment, and they sent the note in an email to my boss. I never got out of bed!

Not a fan of going to the Doctor to begin with and disliking the way our health care system is, I found using Innovative Express Care to be a totally different and dare I say innovative experience. From the way they gather information for the chart to the service and personal attention you get, I was genuinely surprised and came away not disliking the going to the Dr. Experience after all.

If you need to see a Physician I highly reccomend Innovative Express Care!

There is absolutely nothing innovative about this clinic. Mind boggling how they manage to get nothing right even down to the basics in patient care and privacy. Be prepared to have the entire waiting room and receptionist hear what is wrong with you due to paper thin walls in close proximity to waiting area. (Hope you have nothing embarrassing to share with eveyone, otherwise it's going to get awkward). Be prepared see different doctors every time you come in, but of course never the one you actually booked to see. Be prepared to have your prescription sent to the wrong pharmacy, even if you specifically wrote down the name and town of the pharmacy you use. Be prepared to not get prescribed any medicine for your condition until your third visit even though it should have been prescribed sooner. Be prepared and go elsewhere, as I have never had these issues at another clinic.

I visited Innovative Express Care when my daughter...

I visited Innovative Express Care when my daughter became ill after just moving to Bucktown. We were pleased to find an urgent care center in our United Healthcare Network so close to our house since we did not have a family Physician yet. We arrived at 5:00pm on a Thursday with designated parking available 10 feet from the door. Upon entering we were greeted and kindly offered water, coffee, juice or sodas (just nice!). I signed in and paid the deductible on a tablet (great technology...very quick and easy..no paperwork!) We then received immediate attention by staff and Doctor. They correctly diagnosed my daughter, confirmed 15 minutes later with a blood test...Mononucleosis. They treated her for dehydration and brought us to a nicely appointed private room with a TV while being administered an IV (very accommodating and gentle when my daughter expressed her fear of needles!). They took the time to fully inform me about the condition and listened very carefully to my follow up questions. I can't speak enough to the professionalism, competency and friendliness of the staff, the bright, cheerful, modern space and ease of check-in with the use of technology. It was a calming and pleasant experience for a nervous mom and uncomfortable daughter! In the future, our family will always use this office for our immediate care needs without hesitation.

I made an appointment with Innovative Express Care and was able to see a doctor on the same day. Everyone was incredibly friendly and they listened to my concerns about my health. In an hour and a half I was given a diagnosis and the prescription I needed. I would thoroughly recommend Innovative Express Care to anyone who needs medical care!

If you want to experience the WORST bedside manner, wait for a long time while the many staff laugh and chat AND get poked and prodded with a needle- this is your spot!
Not only did the nurse dig around like a med student while trying to find a vein, she was extremely rude when I finally asked her to remove it.
The service and professionalism here echos that of a free clinic.

I was feeling ill last night with a sore throat and that usually means strep throat for me! I went to my insurance providers web page to look for somewhere to go that was included in my insurance plan and started calling down the list only to realize because of the holiday all were closing at 8 which meant I only had 15 minutes to get there before closing. Well then I called innovative express care and to my surprise the Dr. Who owns the clinic and he said we will stay open for you relax you have nothing to worry about we will stay open and wait and to my amazement it was 15 minutes past closing and the staff was still waiting and very friendly even though I kept them late on a holiday weekend. It did turn out to be strep and if I had to wait till next morning I would have been in horrible pain and recovery would have taken longer but instead they had medication there and the whole process from walking in to leaving with antibiotics was quick and very easy. The staff was wonderful and I would highly recommend this clinic to everyone.

I wish I could give less than 1 star. Absolutely do not go here for anything COVID related, its a scam. I went on June 12, everything went smoothly with my antibody test. I was told I'd get a call in 3 days with results. After 4 days, I called and you are not even given an option to speak with someone directly. So I waited and waited and waited for days, checking my phone consistently and making sure I was not on silent to ensure I don't miss any calls. After finally leaving a voicemail at their offices today, I got an automated text within a few mins saying my test came back negative, that I could see my results on their online portal and that someone called me & left a voicemail on June 15. None of this is true, and if you look online at other reviews like this one, people are sharing the same experience of being the same thing. They have a script where they tell patients someone called and left a voicemail on a day that is conveniently 3 days after the appointment, when patients did not get a phone call at all. Do not go here, this is not a legitimate COVID testing center and I'm taking action to make sure the testing gets shut down so no one else gets scammed by this place. I haven't even gotten the bill from my insurance yet, where they probably charged me $200 for a test that costs only $10.

I have been seeing Jenna Benoit
at Innovative for primary care and mental health concerns for the past 1.5 years. She has helped me through the most difficult time of my life with her kindness and exceptional medical care. Prior to seeing Jenna, I had many unpleasant experiences and truly dreaded going to the doctor, so finding her was crucial for my health.

Their care model is also super efficient, I can make an appointment online and I never wait more than a few minutes before they call me in. You're also not stuck sitting waiting for the doctor after the nurse sees you, they come see you right away. Nurses and doctors are all very kind people, and do a great job.

Oh, and there's LaCroix in the waiting room, nice touch! ;)

Just an update on a previous review . After a few weeks of unanswered emails regarding a billing issue their staff reassured me in writing would be corrected I finally received a response. Apparently because i shared my experience with regard to their lack of communication then they are no longer obligated to hold to what their staff reassured me would take place but they wish me luck with my future healthcare. How kind of them.
