Patient Innovation Center, Get Covered Illinois Review

I was supposed to receive help from doctor Erika. Instead I received an awful attitude and such lack of care for her patients. I had an evaluation and did not know it was only a video. I recieved a call 5 minutes after my scheduled time while trying to load the video when Erika without any consideration said "do you just want to reschedule?" I told her I was almost in and she responded by saying "I do not have time... I will reschedule you if thats what you want?" after that, I did not feel like I wanted to speak with someone about my personal life that will probably judge me and have no empathy towards me. Thanks but no thanks. Do not recommend!!

Every time I go there the doctors see me pretty quick, not a lot of waiting.

Honestly, don't bother going here. Go elsewhere. I can't believe that when people leave poor yet accurate reviews the rhetoric their business model utilizes basically brushes it off as insignificant. That isn't a way to treat patients. They do only care about money: 175$ to be exact. I went in on Friday they swabbed me for a Strep Throat and send me on my way with an Amoxicillin prescription. But, what I remember vividly was how the PA felt unconfident and insecure thus making an inaccurate diagnosis which only led me to the ER at the Masonic hospital two days later to which a doctor finally said, "you Emmanuel have shingles." If it was diagnosed sooner the pain and spread may have lessened. Thank you so much for wasting my time.

I had such a great experience at innovative express care. They took real good care of me, and I felt extremely comfortable. Had to get blood drawn (keep in mind I m terribly scared of needles), and they held my hand through the whole process. Great group of workers here.

Had a great experience at this clinic. Was seen in a timely fashion. The staff was courteous and efficient, and the doctor was knowledge. Would go back in a heartbeat.

However much I love the doctors and the staff at Innovative Express Care, unfortunately I am almost always seen around 30 min to an hour after my designated appointment time. Usually it's fine - I make sure I set aside a lot of time and always make an appointment so I don't have to wait the 1-2 hour walk-in time. But today was one of those days where I actually needed immediate care when I came in. Despite my appointment at 2:45, (I arrived on time around 2:35), I wasn't seen until over TWO HOURS later. And why, you ask, was I finally seen? I got up to ask a receptionist how much longer the wait might be, and suddenly felt faint and sick to the point of having to hold on to the counter to stand. After being noticeably in pain and weak by the reception staff, I was instantaneously wheeled into an empty exam room, saw my usual doctor immediately (within 3 minutes), and I was out of there in about 10 minutes with a prescription for my much needed antibiotics, pain killers, and nausea medication for the infection that I had. I'm really disappointed that despite me being on time and making an appointment for urgent care, many people who were walk-ins were seen before me. To me, at least, this seems very unprofessional. If you have two to three hours to spare to wait even in the middle of the day on a weekday, then yes, this place is worth the wait because you get everything that you may possibly need covered almost completely by most insurances. But if you're really in dire need of immediate care, go to the ER. I made that mistake today, but it will definitely not happen again.

Such a pleasant experience I had all the way from check-in to check-out. Very helpful team, smiling faces making you feel comfortable when you are sick. My nurse and doctor were so dear to listenning to what Health problems I had and providing correct medication. Price was also very reasonable. Thank you

I have a family of 5, so there always seems to be a need for a doctor/medical assistance. Innovative is always our go-to medical help for everything from sinus infections, broken bones, and high school athletic physicals. They do it all and are always very professional and kind. Definitely recommend it!

Every time I've gone here I've had to wait at least 15 minutes before seeing my physician despite making an appt. Additionally, I was charged more than $100 for a "flu test" when I wasn't showing symptoms of the flu. Clearly they ran the test so that they could charge me on the back-end for it. I tried reaching out to them to potentially waive the fee or find some resolution and they were non-responsive and made it intentionally difficult to get a response.

We run a podcast and I ve had a cold for a bit and my hearing has been off, Jayme and this nice nurse dude helped flush my ear and she pulled out this epic ball of wax and prescribed some meds to me. Not sure if it ll work yet but I feel confident in their triage skills.

Quick, comfortable experience and getting my ears cleaned out is one of my new favorite things. Thanks Innovative Express Care!
