If I could give them a 0 I would. The hotel was a dump and Pastimes is just fine having them be one of their hotels to offer families for more than a $100.00 a night. It was a comfort in and we expected it to be up to par. Thanks for caring about how much and where your baseball parents stay at. Just because you have a ton of teams attending does not mean you shouldn't have some level of peace of mind that you are offering families good places to stay. P.S. stretching out the games to ensure longer hotel stays for your kick back should not be nature of the business. If you need a tournament look at Perfect GAme and Mid America

If I could give a zero, I would. Came to watch my nephew. The gate attempted to charge my husband and I $60.00 at the gate for ONE game. They only have tournament passes at the gate. If you want to watch one game you are directed to some website and asked to txt a screenshot of the receipt for a day pass. Total waste of time. If you can offer a tournament pass at the gate, you should be able to offer a day pass at the gate. Again, zero stars from parents who live in the community whose tax dollars help pay for Grand Park.

Charging $40 PER PERSON at gate is pathetic! Parents aren't allowed to bring in containers OF WATER HELLO IT'S 90+ DEGREES WITH HIGH HUMIDITY!!
Rearrange schedule multiple times only to change again minutes later and have to stay another night at the $150.00 per night hotel.
Who's getting rich here? It's about the kids! Not you and the money you're making gouging and arrogant people run this show.
Will not repeat this circus!!!
Stay in your own community to play baseball.

(ALL COACHES AND PLAYERS) I would (NOT) recommend doing a pastime tournament this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at any baseball event. No organization and the communication is a joke. Not enough of fields to accommodate rain delays so they just cancel games. The scout aspect of this tournament was never even seen by our team. They stretched out the game for longer hotel stay and made sure the brackets were not posted until 10:30pm the night before they took all local teams even though their were better seeded teams the way they determine the bracket was unethical.

Terrible University of Michigan tournament in June 2020. A minimum of 30 to 60+ minutes from the stay-to-play hotel with cost $134 per night, but $59 to the non-tournament public. Gave our team an 8:30am start time for the first game even though we are from the other side of the state. This required an extra night stay at the hotel. Advanced two 2-2 teams and left our team out of bracket play with a 2-1-1 record. Excuse was run differential. I thought run differential was used to break a tie, but Pastime Sports makes up their own nonsense.

I would highly recommend Pastime to college students and/or teachers looking for some extra money. The hours are long some days but the pay is really good and the people you meet are great. If you love to watch baseball this is a job for you.

This was our first experience at a tournament to this caliber. Overall our experience was a great one. We played and saw some great baseball in some great facilities. My only complaint is that you couldn't pay for a day pass but could by a week pass!! That was the silliest thing ever. Thanks for providing a great tournament for my son to experience!

Please Do NOT waste your time or money. Don't believe the hype! It really is a scam. I have had my teams in tournaments for over 10 years and have not only never been ripped off like this but have never been treated so poorly. The excuses that will follow are just that. You cant make an excuse for being classless. It is not professionally ran as advertised. I have never left a review for anything baseball or otherwise before. Pass Pastime up for anything else. Zero Stars

Scam at the gate for spectators! Charging $20 for a weekend pass is one thing. But still charging $20 per person on the last day of the tournament is ridiculous. There was only one game left, the championship game. So it was $40 for two of us to watch one ball game. That's not right. If you have a weekend pass, then you need to have a daily pass too.

Pastime tournaments continues to under perform. ...

Pastime tournaments continues to under perform. We paid for a 4 game tournament. Our opponent(Ohio Elite 16u) in Game 3 Forfeits at Wright State at 9:00am. We get word while we are on the Road. Our Next game is at 1:00pm at Xavier. So nothing like a drive to Dayton for Nothing. Then afer our 1:00pm at Xavier - (Ohio Elite 16u) shows up for their 4th game. So instead of Running Ohio Elite from the Tournament and giving a team who paid the entry fee and showed up for its games, it gave Ohio Elite the 3:00pm game. If you are going to host a "Scouted/Prospect" Make sure you teams have enough players to meet the commitment. Absolute Horse Manure organization. Its funny, a local fall ball league had a scout event with over 20 Scouts last week. AT the pastime tournament the had 2 or 3. Just another low rent money grabber.
