The food is fantastic, the service was on point, portions are large, but a little pricey for my taste. Pasta Jay's also has locations in Boulder and Denver and are very consistent across the board. There a ton of dinning choices in Moab, but Pasta Jay's is one of the better restaurants in town.

Service was great. Food tasted above average. I ordered the chicken parm and it barely had an mozzarella on it. It tasted 8/10, but why is there barely any mozzarella on it? Everywhere else I have gone, it is smothered in mozzarella.

For a touristy place this is good food. Pastas and pizzas were good. So were salads. Rest was alright. Service was great and they were even able to quickly adjust for a large group (11 of us).

I truly thought this was the best Italian restaurant I've been to in the US. No, I haven't been to all the Italian restaurants in the US :) but I've been to Italy more than just once, and this is pretty damn close. TRY THE PESTO CHEESE BREAD.

The food tasted good but wasn't anything special and the prices are WAY too high. We went with a friend and got a couple of pizza's for my family of 5 to keep costs down then stopped at Wendy's before going back to our hotel so everybody got full. The large pizza isn't all that large. The friend we went with was even less impressed than us and would likely rate it a 1.

We were seated pretty quick then left sitting there for much to long without even water. The garlic bread had hardly any garlic, however it was good bread just no garlic flavor. My Dr pepper was weak at best, and there pizza we ordered which comes with a very thin crust was also lacking in flavor and was black on the bottom. Very disappointed

The spaghetti was amazing. I wanted to order more food but due to the slowness, the kitchen closed early. I was dissatisfied because I wanted more spaghetti!
Pros: great tasting pasta and bread
Con: I couldn't get more spaghetti :(

Food was way way way over-priced. I gor the rustica pizza for $12, (plus $8 for the chicken), which was basically a thin pizza crust with tons of salad and a few pieces of white undercooked chicken. Tasteless and very disappointing. Husband got a chicken casear salad with same results; little chicken and even less cesear dressing. Wait staff could not make change for $100 bill. ?? Might be a good place for dinner and pasta, but lunch was sub-par.

We have eaten at Pasta Jay's numerous times. It's our go-to place when we hike in any of the neighboring parks (and there are quite a few). I never fail to order the Chicken Parmesan -- it has always been great. My husband is a more diversified eater than I am and he maintains that he has never had anything but a great meal here.

There is outside seating, which provides a great way to watch the people parade that is Moab in good weather.

This place is always swamped at mealtime, especially in peak season, so make sure you get there early.

We usually pop across the street for some great ice cream dessert.

Here for a late lunch on Thursday. Food was hot and boy ever sever told you the top plate is hot. But, nothing special here for taste. Dings for Jesse not being really friendly. Staff seemed inconvenienced by us visiting. And seemed like an upcharge for everything. We had an experience at a brewery just down the road.

They messed up our order - and did not compensate with a discount or anything. The menu did not indicate up-charging for shrimp (for the item that we ordered), and yet they charged us $7 extra for shrimp. Wait staff was nowhere to be found when we needed utensils. Small portion, OK taste, bad service - worse of all, very expensive.

Food was amazing!!! As was the service.our server was Montserrat. She was really good and attentive. It was the best pasta that I've ever had. Prices fit portions. Just one entree was more than enough for me and my wife. To the person that said it tasted like it came out of a can I don't know what you were talking about. You must have found some really good canned food though. Will be eating here next time I'm in Moab

Food was good and portions were large but the service was TERRIBLE. We were seated outside and basically had to keep going inside to beg for someone to come to our table. Our drinks weren t refilled, plates weren t cleared. My meal was ordered very specifically (no cheese) and it came out covered in cheese. When we said it was wrong they told us it wasn t (???). Then we had to walk inside again at the end trying to find our sever to bring us our check. Lots of employees standing around. No one checked on our table. Not once. Poorly managed restaurant, which is a shame because the food is good.

Over priced low grade food and service. Ordered cheesy pesto bread, came out on basically hot dog bun bread with cheap mozzarella cheese. Ordered a large Pizza, meat toppings were super low quality like out of a can, rubbery and old. Crust was like a cracker. Vegetable toppings weren t even cut up. They put a half of a bell pepper just solid on top of the pizza. Distribution of ingredients was terrible and stingy. Got some pieces with no meat and others with just one small piece. Waiter was cool, but didn t fit the setting. He reminded me of Jesse from breaking bad and his name was Jesse. He seemed careless and impatient, complained about how busy they were. I got a beer and my wife got a hot chocolate. Drinks were good, ended up costing $45 in total, which if the food was good would totally make sense, but it wasn t. Came here while camping in Moab because of the high ratings, don t want others to be fooled.

If I could have given Pasta Jay's two or three five-star ratings I would. I'm only 61 years old and I've been eating pasta all my life. Who knew it could taste so good.
I had the tortellini a favorite of mine for probably 40 years. I thought I knew what tortellini was like, however I have never seen or smelled tortellini that tasted so good. The chef may have rolled it in a perhaps breading and cheese and then baked it so that it was crusty and gooey on each individual tortellini. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
On the other hand my wife had fettuccini noodles with two sauces ,one of the sauce a tomato sauce was beautiful the other sauce WAS pesto!!! Again I thought I knew what pesto had tasted like as we have eaten it and prepared it ourselves. What a surprise this was unlike any pesto I had ever tasted When I close my eyes and think back I can still remember the beautiful rich flavor of this wonderful basil sauce.

The next time I am close by Moab I will definitely make a trip to Pasta Jay's and try something else there .It was easily the best pasta I've ever eaten in my entire life anywhere any country and a continent anywhere.

This is some of the best sauce and pastas I've had. the pizza is great, but my absolute favorite are the garlic knots and baked tortellini! A must after an active day hiking and jeeping. Hearty, great portions.

Good food, but slightly pricier than I expected. The order was to go, I repeated it multiple times to multiple people, and our order was still slightly incorrect. Not to mention the additional wait times. Ah well. Food was pretty good for take out.

Alfredo sauce was good. Server was decent. Food was priced a little too high. $15 for plate of fettuccine Alfredo and to add chicken it was $5 more. You get a better deal at Olive Garden. The pesto pizza was pretty good.

So, so good. We ate here last year & have looked forward to returning all year. Everything is delicious. Everyone is friendly & accommodating. They offer the choice of indoor or outdoor seating. They are constantly cleaning & wiping down every surface of the restaurant. Very highly recommend.

The pizza came fast. The server was super nice. The crust was crisp. The sauce had good flavor. Could have had a few more Serrano peppers on it but overall a great meal after a long day of hitting the trails. Also liked the heated patio.

Food was okay and the wait wasn't very long. The employees were all very friendly. Would've been a four star if the two of us didn't start throwing up ten minutes later because of food poisoning.

Nice spot. Great food and reasonable prices. The service was pretty poor, though not horrible. Easy parking in lot across the street, and plenty of seating inside and out. Would definitely eat here again. They have a terrific menu selection.

EDIT: Ate here a second time and the service was fantastic. Their pizza is incredible and really enjoyed the experience this time.
