Parrot Cay Resort & COMO Shambhala Retreat Review

We just love this place! Beach is epic....probably one of the best beaches in within 10-hour flight from the USA. We traveled to a bunch of places, and the beach is our specialty. Calm, warm and beautiful.

The rooms are spacious, clean, very mindful, the room is cleaned twice per day and water is given as well twice per day. Everything is wooden very Bali inspired, very calming, the bathroom is super nice! BUT don't expect bold luxury like some resorts. Don't expect in your face luxury.

The service is beyond epic. We went to so many 5 star places and this place is epic, 5 stars truly, I would even say 7 stars. Every single person that works here, smiles, cares, works super hard and it's hand-picked. Miroslav is outstanding, James in the kitchen is A+, Minas is A+ guy that makes sure your stay is A+. Hotel manager Jordi is nice and makes sure everything is running smoothly.

Kevin overseas COMO and makes sure that quality is put in place, just great!

Food...OMG, food is IDK best food I ever had, not even sure how can they cook so good. Lotus is A+ Asian inspired place, bar drinks are great, a Mediterranean place is great as well. Best food ever guys.Ade Kurniawan MAKES BEST FOOD A+

Kids: I was surprised we brought our kids and they had a blast! We saw maybe 15 kids here, we were here for Memorial day 5 days.
Water activities: Epic! Aldo is so nice, he really made our stay amazing. You will be able to sail with him.

Price: Yes I guess you can always say, this and that...but I would say accurate price for this amount of work! A+
Overall we will be back for sure, ASAP!

Worst customer experience I ve ever encountered with any resort. With all the uncertainty surrounding Covid-19 I had to cancel my most recent trip to Turks. Unfortunately I tested positive for the virus 24 hours after making my booking. I promptly called the resort well in advance of my reservation and just 24 hours after booking. They had absolutely no flexibility and kept $22,000 for providing no services. This is disgusting for an institution that is revered for high class customer care. It just shows they really just want to take advantage of charging astronomical prices without actually caring for the people that stay there.

2nd trip to this piece of paradise, this time with children and friends. Excellent time to go, the summer. We got 3 beach villa and felt like rockstars, thanks to butlers Sha, Restu and Yoga... we shall be back!

Five stars, six stars, ten stars, a hundred Stars..... I would give this place all the stars in the world. The accommodations were amazing. The staff was amazing. The butler service was unbelievable; seamlessly anticipating your every move he took care of every last detail. I honestly can't say enough about Parrot Cay..... We will be back soon!

When I think about places I want to go on vacation, unfortunately I just keep thinking of this place and want to come back here.

The rooms are classy but understated. The food is surprisingly good. The beach is unreal. The service equally unreal. The beach bar is a great place to watch the sunset.

A private island? Perfect.

The most wonderful place! It is quite and unique. Perfect rooms and delicious and healthy food. If you love peace and empty beaches, it is the perfect place to be.

Como delivers beyond your expectations. Through a combination of beauty all around and outstanding service, you won't be disappointed. Restu, Shaw, Yoga and several others took great care of our family and friends.

Make sure to snorkel the reef and to enjoy the sand bar in the ocean, which makes you feel like you are walking on water.

On top of all of this, we unexpectedly enjoyed Hurricane Isaias while there and they kept us safe, fed, and went out of their way to ensure we still enjoyed our vacation.

Beauty resort in private island. But they really need to improve the quality the food in the resort.

What can I say? It was a fantastic honey moon escape. We travel often and are not easily impressed, however, Como really exceeded our expectations, especially their breakfast. We always felt welcome and the staff were on the ball The management were very accommodating when we expressed anything that wasn t to our expectations. Great work. .

I visit this excellent restaurant every couple of days as I love the good mood that is unique to this restaurant. The staff is highly cordial and professional. The service is extremely fast. Needless to say, the food they serve is magnificent. I frequent many times and I was always delighted. The expense is reasobable. I highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends.
