Evocative and sensitive place. Great to spend an afternoon in a quiet, safe place next to the river. An amazing spot to take pictures too, but make sure you get a permission at the entry since it's a memorial site. The Sala PAIS tends to have art exhibits too, make sure you don't miss it.

It is a memorable place. Of a lot of political history, of tragic stories and artistic representations according to what happened with the disappearances and tortures in the past years. A place to walk and learn a little more about the history of the country. It is also a good place to take good photos, or just to sit and reflect on life.

A very nice park but it has very few places of shade (trees). I recommend going early to be able to get somewhere sheltered from the sun, and more if the day is nice. Generally there are few people, so it is an interesting place to visit.

It is an invitation to introspection and reflection. The names and surnames that are rigorously arranged in the stone come alive. The sculptures provoke, shake and at the same time give peace. It is a tour to do in silence. It is a sad and melancholic journey through our history. The guides that are at the entrance of the park help a lot to the interpretation of some places. There is also an exhibition hall that usually visually enhances the visit. No doubt you have to know him.

That would not be the qualifier "I loved it"

That would not be the qualifier "I loved it"
It is very important that this place exists, that the 30,000 disappeared are honored and remembered
And may memory serve to never commit crimes against humanity again.
Never again military coups

It is the memory park for those disappeared by the AAA and during the last Argentine dictatorship between 1976 and 1983. It is divided into sectors. There are some stones with the names of the disappeared that are in alphabetical order. These names are within easy reach of anyone, high or low, so you can touch them ... Anyone in the family always has a flower or photo. Although it was established in the late 90's, the installation of that park was highly controversial.
On the other hand, there are the sculptures that represent different symbologies related to that time in Argentine history, so painful for many until today.

My experience was beautiful, I went with my girlfriend to rest with fresh air. The sun was very strong, but the wall of large stones helped me, that is, it is called "Stela D", it contained shadow, there I sat there. To drink mate and chat. Beautiful view. I toured the whole place, very nice but we need to improve every day.
