I went there this morning for breakfast with some friends of mine and I was really impressed. The menu was huge. I had a hard time deciding. The waiter was very nice and helpful. He was patient with us and asked us really good questions. I will definitely return.

New place that my sister recommended. She said that dinner and appetizers were good so we did breakfast there. I found it to be very generic but the service was good. I had the salmon eggs Benedict and found the salmon to be very salty and fishy tasting. The server assured me that the Hollandaise was made in-house but found it to be bland and too yellow. I feel I paid too much for subpar food.

This was one of the best experiences I have had at a local restaurant. Our waiter was very helpful and answered all of our questions extensively. He was also very good with service, asked if we needed drinks in a timely manner. Food was excellent, had a medium rare burger that was cooked to perfection. It was obvious they knew how to keep the burger at the safe temperature for the right amount of time. I would recommend this place 10/10

Every meal I've had here has been excellent, and I always look forward to the food. Only complaint is that, while the servers have always been nice, they will immediately forget about you after you have paid, even if you are still at the table.

I have it on very good authority from a friend of a friend that this eatery had one of its employees test positive for COVID-19, but told none of its other staff members. Incredibly irresponsible both for patrons and employees.

So excited for this place. My new regular hang out. Dinner was great and the portions were amazing. Plus the decor and dining room was so nice (the lighting is spectacular). The server was really great and helpful with suggestions and let us know the full menu is online. I had an amazing salad and we started off with the snacks platter so we could save room for dessert. So much to choose from. A great welcome to the neighborhood. Ended with an almond toffee latte.

Great food, a huge menu (both the brunch and dinner menu are amazing!), and a beautiful atmosphere inside. The staff is always super friendly. A great option if you live on this side of town, and you don't feel like traveling to the Marietta diner. It has similar items to the Marietta diner and a similar feel, just smaller, and less hectic. They have very good cakes and pies made in house too!

Pretty nice atmosphere and service wasn t bad at all. However, the Salmon grill cheese sandwich (at their price) was sorely underwhelming in size and execution. The description sounded interesting but when one thinks of grilled cheese you might expect a little oozing of that cheese. The goat cheese was barely noticeable and the fried egg within the sandwich (believing it would top the outside) was overcooked. The overall sandwich was simply dry. So not worthy of a $13 meal. To their credit, I did not send it back but willing to give this place another go round given their large menu. Hopefully, the next experience will cancel out my unfavorable first impression.

Love the food at this establishment! The fresh bread with oil and balsamic is a great way to start a meal. My favorite soup has been the Autumn Squash Soup. The lemon chicken soup was great during the first opening months but I feel like it hasn't quite been hitting the mark. I definitely recommend the Corned Beef Hash, Fish & Chips and the old fashion pot roast. Highly enjoyed the Nutella Cafe. There is typically a wait, tends to get super crowded at dinner rush. However, the food is definitely worth it!
(2/3) Pictured is the White Chocolate Raspberry Cake. Yum. And it was on the house! What an awesome treat!!

Food was fresh and good. What I remembered a diner being when I was coming out of college. They had delicious looking desserts but we where full. I had country fried steak and potatoes with a vegetable medley that was real good

I'd highly recommend The Diner for breakfast. We took a party of 6 for a birthday breakfast and received top notch service from Evie. She was extremely kind, provided quick service and catered to our tables needs, without hovering and interrupting our meal. Everyone's meal arrived exactly how it was ordered and the food was hot and fresh.

These people are always great. Food is always great. The service is stellar. It reminds me of that Bukowski poem called "Nirvana". When you walk in the door you know you're there. Thanks for a great mother's day brunch!

Great food, great service. My nature is I don't try many different things but everything I've tried has been really good. Chicken quesadillas, burgers, grilled chicken sandwich, fish and chips and salads have all been very good.

Omg they have Vanilla egg creams. I haven't had them since I lived in NY like 13 years ago. Love this place, love the atmosphere, love the food, especially the donut burger. It was so great. Just wish you were 24 hours like other diners in NY.

Visited location on Sunday 2/9/20. It was a busy afternoon, but they took a last minute reservation for a table of 14. Employee on the phone was very nice as well as the hostess (young blond - hate I didn t catch names). Not only was our waiter (gray goatee with glasses and possibly manager) top notch. The food was outstanding and when our waiter overheard that it was my girlfriends birthday, he ensured she received a slice of cake with happy birthday written on the plate. He went above and beyond with his service skills and my family and I are customers for life. I only hope someone sees this and shows him!!!

Your loyal for life customer now - Chad

Food and service are amazing. Staff was warm and friendly. Had a hard time picking something to eat, everything looked so good! Walked in at 12:30 on a Saturday and while it was busy there was no wait.

Had a delicious corned beef hash with perfect eggs over easy for brunch today (12/15/2019)! Our server, Jermaine, who is excellent, said they have one guy that cooks all the eggs and potatoes: Hector. Kudos to Hector and his ability to leave the yolks runny and thoroughly cooking the whites. Not an easy task!!!
We discovered this place in October this year and have been retuned at least 3 times already. If they offered any non-dairy alternative options for their coffee on a consistent basis I would have given them the perfect score.

Excellent American style restaurant. The menu is huge and the deserts are even bigger. Service is always good. The quality of food is usually good. Have had an eh meal once and the appetizers and good but not great. If you are looking for a quite romantic spot this is not it. Really worth a try.

A friend and I went for dinner on Friday evening and we had a wonderful experience. Our wait was approximately ten minutes, it was a comfortable amount of time with chairs to sit in. As soon as we were seated and ordered our drinks our waitress brought homemade bread with olive oil and balsamic to dip our bread in. I ordered fish and chips, I swapped the fries for seasonal veggies, and it came with cole slaw too. My food was excellent. The fish had a light batter and the white fish had a very good flavor and was not fishy smelling. The seasonal veggies included yellow squash, zucchini, broccoli and it was tasty and cooked to perfection. The cole slaw was very good, the cabbage was cut in approximately inch and a half pieces, was in a milk based dressing.
My friend ordered chicken picata with risotto and she said it was very good. (This was her third or fourth time at the restaurant and this dish has been so good that she has ordered it every time). She ordered a fancy drink of some type and I ordered coffee. My coffee was good and my friend finished her drink stating it was quite tasty.
We both had leftovers to take home. Also, our waitress brought a large piece of red velvet with cream cheese icing in a box to have at home. Let me just say that it was extremly yummy. The price of our food and drink was in line with other restaurants in the area. I will definitely go back!

I had the unfortunate experience of returning to this diner after what was a splendid breakfast for lunch. Do yourself a favor, avoid this place at any other time and for any other food. One would think that a Greek diner, with Greek owners, would know what a gyro sandwich was. The sandwich, as described by the menu "...shaved slices of seasoned lamb and beef..." was nothing more than pre-formed deli gyro meat warmed and carelessly thrown on a pita with lettuce, tomato and onions. I wouldn't serve this to my dog. The soup was bland, cheese sticks cold, and overall a complete disappointment.

Edit:

The gyro was the same gyro kit one would purchase at costco. I hardly think that is what anyone would expect, nor is it near fresh or best at all. I did not mention that our appetizers, bread, and entrees all were served at the same time. Actually, the appetizers were served after he entrees. I did mention to the waiter that the gyro was not what i expected, and the cheese sticks were cold. All he said was sorry. I see some food and service quality training opportunities in this establishments future. I tried to speak to someone while I was there, but the waiter could care less. Not every service will be perfect, but this complete meal was a disaster. Had I not been with my daughter, I would have just left, but she needed to eat, and understand that not every meal or things in this would will be as described.

Went on a Friday night with two friend and we were seated within 15 minutes. Fun and friendly atmosphere and a TON of menu items to choose from- maybe too many! My party all got something different and sampled each others- all fantastic tasting. Got desserts to go and one serving fed all 3. Loved our experience and the prices so much we went back the next morning for Brunch. Recommend the tuna melt and brownie sundae!

I'm usually an easy 5 star, but we had terrible service. We got an appetizer with no plates to eat it. Waitress didnt stop back to check on us once. We asked for napkins and couldn't even get that. The manager noticed and decided to avoid the table. Just spend your money elsewhere, too many good spots to waste a trip here.

Spinach pies are wwaaaayyyyy better than Marietta Diner's. Though I was a little disappointed in portions. In that category I think MD has the upper hand. Can't wait to try their breakfast!!!
