Fun place. Service was good, restaurant is new and clean. Food was good, could have used a little more seasoning. I order the chicken and waffles and my mom had the breakfast skillet and potatoes. The potatoes definitely needed more seasoning as well as my chicken. But it was still good. My mimosa was excellent and strong!! Order the single so you get more champagne.
Their menu has soo many choices so its something for everyone.
We will return again!

I am a frequent guest at the DBC. The food is very good and consistent. There are many choices from breakfast to brunch to dinner. The waiters and waitresses are very friendly and helpful. Then there Is the Five Star points you earn on purchases.

We came early Sunday morning to find a clean and fun atmosphere. We were seated quickly but I'm sure later on it will be very busy! Had some kids meals plus a Belgian waffle and I had the Portobello skillet! Service was timely and kind!

Lots of options and good atmosphere, but even after trying several dishes none have really popped as a must have favorite. Nothing is bad, mind you, but I haven't had my Aha moment considering the price. Always super busy at breakfast on weekends so time your visit carefully.

I finally checked out the Diner Bakery Company with some friends for brunch and I'm kicking myself for not coming here earlier. The prices are great for what you're getting and our server Kevin was very nice. My corned beef hash skillet was delicious and the biscuit was very fluffy.

Family group of 10, excellent service (Simone was our server) we asked to have three milkshakes served in 9 shot glasses and she obliged! Food was great, nice variety. We even saw a groundhog rooting around in the outdoor fireplace (no fire at the time *_*)

One of our fav places to go for breakfast. Staff attentiveness is ok but the food is higher par than other places. I have been for lunch and that was delish as well. Great locally owned place with character and amazing dessert case!

I don't give 5 Stars very often so understand that. I love this place. I eat here frequently without worrying if I'll like the food or coffee. The only thing I have had that I won't have again is the meatloaf - but that's just me; other people love it.

A bit expensive for so so food. Service is a bit slow, breakfast is not all day as it should be with a true diner. And they close too early for a diner. In my book a diner should be open 24/7.

The place was cool looking. Very modern. The menu was extensive and they serve breakfast till 4pm. I ordered the shrimp and grits. The place was really busy, to be expected on a Sunday afternoon. After a long wait I was presented with the blandest and wateriest grits. Perhaps it was the fact they I ordered them without peppers and onions. I used an abundance of salt and butter but to no avail. I was going to order something else but my group was half way done and didnt want to make everyone wait since it was a long wait. This place has great potential but my $18 grit water soup makes me apprehensive. My friends said we'll be back for another try.

My wife and I just had the worst food served to us. We walked. Fries were old and the chicken sandwich was so chewy and nasty. They had 100% A and the menu we had were dirty and the table the was supposed to be clean was sticky. Been there plenty of times and we probably will never be back.

This place has the best customer service I ve ever had. The food is phenomenal, our waiter was Jim and even though I was being kinda picky, he made everything that I wanted happen. I was blown away by the customer service, I have been here twice and was stunned every time by how amazing I was treated. I will definitely be back and will be telling everyone I know about this place!

My family came here Sat. for a late Thanksgiving meal. We were escorted to a private room to a long table and found our seats and ordered our meals. The staff was very nice and while they didn't have any sweet potatoes, they did take the gravy off my meat. No cranberry sauce, but my sister-in-law-s sister gave me hers and the meal was excellent. The tea was very good too. My boyfriend and I hope to come back some time soon a restaurant we liked went out if business so this is a great alternative to it-even if it's not an Irish pub.

They are working on a new menu and a new process for serving so our service was a little slow, but the people are nice and explained what was going on. The food was absolutely incredible though. The French Onion Soup was hands down the best I have ever eaten. The Chicken Piccata was luxurious and rich. We'll visit again for sure. Hopefully their new system will be fully implemented by then.

The waiters and normal staff was great. The one lady who looked like a manager just looked upset that another person showed up. Love the food. Love the working staff. Tell your managers to smile if they are going to stand up front.

The food is definitely hit or miss here. I had the NY Strip, and they are definitely not a steak house. The steak was OK, but I've had a lot better. It was cooked properly, but too thin and the seasoning was wanting. The baked potato was dried out though and I almost chipped a tooth on the "bacon bits" that we in it. One of my sons had a burger, and it was good. The other had fettuccine, which was pretty good. The carrot cake was not bad, but a bit dry. The cookie dough cheesecake was pretty good though. Like I said, hit or miss.

The only standout to me was the service. Our waiter, Kevin, was awesome and did a great job of taking care of us. He was on top of everything and had a great attitude. Thanks to his great service I'll definitely be going back, but I think I'll try to stick with the burgers next time, or maybe breakfast.

The dinning room is buzzing with chatter but still quite intimate and welcoming! I will start with the menu, its about 10 pages long!!!! We started with the calamari it was a large portion of appetizer. It taste it fresh and no fishy flavor at all the breading was light the garlic mayonnaise is fantastic, just keep in mind is very garlicky. The marinara sauce is perfect robust strong has body and just deliciously seasoned. The soup was the French onion and it was light but delicious not what you will be used to. You are also giving a warm fresh crispy loaf of bread with some olive oil at the beginning of your meal. The side salad was a nice portion full of fresh ingredients and the dressing was on point. There is nothing sweet about the sweet tea is just not sweet at all. The country fried steak with pepper gravy was true to the menu. However the pot roast was fantastic, tender and savory! The gravy was absolutely perfect and it complemented the mashed potatoes...this dish is exceptionally delicious! the grilled vegetables were not my favorite but they were done al Dente and seasoned with garlic flavor, not overcooked so all in all a big thumbs up for the pot roast. Erin was our waitress and she was brilliant! fantastic! And very knowledgeable on the menu, she was eager to engage with us and make our experience perfect! Thank you Erin for the great service!

I have been to the Diner Bakery Restaurant a few times already for different meals including breakfast, lunch and dinner. The lunch and dinner menus are large enough that whether you have a large or small appetite, you will not be disappointed. Breakfast is wonderful with a very large menu offering.

Service has been outstanding, with the servers, management and the owner getting to know the guests and are truely trying to make your experience great.

The food is the main reason for going, and you will not be disappointed with the selection and the product coming out of the kitchen. In many new restaurants, food is mediocre.....but not here where it is chef-owned.

Everyone should give this restaurant a try and I'm sure that in the near future that the newest place in town will be a hard seat to get without waiting.

Good Luck to a great group. I'll be back many times.

The good: Cool atmosphere. Pretty good selection on the menu including some nice coffee bar offerings. The idea is great and needed in Kennesaw.

The bad: I'll start with the food. First big problem is it took over 30 minutes from when our order was placed to food on the table. My wife had a omelette and I had a variation of an eggs benedict. My two kids simply had plain bagels. When our food finally got to us, both mine and my wife's were barely warm. My hollandaise sauce had a film I can only assume came from sitting in the window. On top of that, my english muffin was burnt. The film found on my sauce was also on mine and my wife's grits, which were also barely warm. The bagels were just okay, though a bit over toasted.

During our extensive wait for sub-par food, our server seemed to avoid the table. She is young and I think this may be her first job as a server, but there was zero communication until we flagged her down. The manager did come over as well and tell us ours was the next ticket up, but didn't tell us until after we ate that the kitchen was short staffed. (But why was our food cold?) She brought us out a couple cannolis as an apology (without actually apologizing), but even those were not very good. The cream was grainy and they tasted frozen. I'm not saying they WERE frozen, but they tasted like it.

I want this place to be successful because I love the idea, but they need to fix these things quickly. As for us, it will take some time before we can work up the courage to try it again.
