Visit as part of the exhibition on Christian Dior.

The place is of a rare beauty, as for the exhibition one is speechless in front of so much talent.

I recommend both the museum and the exhibition which ends in a few weeks.

Nice museum but on the other hand muddle with a vigil .... thank you to give something other than a small piece of paper with a number for the instructions. Because in case of loss it's quite a story even if you can prove your identity.

We visited several museums in Paris, the D'Orsay, Pompidou, Louvre, Romantique, and Jacques-Mart Andre, and this was one of my favorites, with the Pompidou and the D'Orsay tied for second. It is a lovely, spacious, and uncrowded - the displays are on multiple floors surrounding the multi-story atrium - with exquisite pieces of French decorative arts.

Congratulations to the designers and organizers.

With entrance on rue de Rivoli, it is the last born of the Louvre museums. On four floors it collects thousands of pieces of furniture and everyday objects from the Middle Ages to today, often unique, always beautiful and precious. The rooms dedicated to jewelery are head-spinning.
Impossible to expose all that is found in the immense deposits, every 3-4 months they are exhibited in rotation in beautiful exhibitions dedicated to costume, fashion and design. Over the years I have seen exhibitions on the history of underwear and the Vionnet fashion house, collections of fans and toys from the 30s and 40s, on Toulouse-Lautrec advertising posters and on the Bauhaus. Unmissable.
The internal restaurant is excellent and very comfortable, an indispensable stop during the visit.

The management of this museum is scandalous! Since October, I have asked for the reimbursement of two guided tours canceled by the museum due to a sick guide, I am assured each time that my request has been sent to the accounting department and that the latter will contact me, and always nothing. From such an establishment, this is totally unacceptable!

Because of the riots in Paris, this museum was chosen. Museum gives a good picture of the development through time, but it did not really surprise me. Signage is much better and ticket sales are also very inefficient.

Super museum, with exceptional temporary exhibitions.
Be careful, these exhibitions are very popular, it is not uncommon for there to be an imposing tail at the entrance. Aim for days on weekdays if you can.

The exhibitions in the collection are relatively general, not very suitable for tourists, but more suitable for teachers or researchers. The objects in the collection are all good objects, but the arrangement is too close and it looks tired.
But there are often wonderful temporary exhibitions here. For example, the current Dior 70-year retrospective is very worthy of attention!

Very beautiful building located in the heart of Paris, right next to the Louvre.
I visited the Luxe collection and WOW the master collection in the middle of the enclosure was impressive.
I strongly recommend to visit this beautiful museum.

This venue hosts some amazing exhibits worth taking a look at when in Paris. Positioned at the far end of the Louvre palace (towards the gardens) you'll find an assortment of interesting and inspiration shows.
Most recently went to see the Barbie exhibit-and what a show, do whatever you can to get yourself a ticket, it's not something you're going to forget in a hurry.
You'll also find a spectacular fashion exhibition as well as rooms filled with some exquisite jewellery from centuries ago, furniture and sculpture.
So many people say it, and that's because it's so true, this is definitely one of the best museums in Paris.

It was just a normal experience compared to other museums in Paris. Without special exhibition, its actually quite flat. Of course its historical and classic. I will recommend if you have plenty of time ,you should have a look but if you don't, there's so many better ones to explore and less crowd.

This museum is beautiful and presents a beautiful collection of decorative objects.
Good point: the permanent collection is free for -26 years old.

Very nice temporary exhibitions are regularly organized including magnificent retrospectives on the work of great fashion designers.

A must do a few steps from the Louvre

It was great, I was with my teenage niece to visit the Dior expo - the only downside to the crazy success of this exhibition. .. suddenly there were really many people. I had done another fashion show a few months ago And there the visit was a little more pleasant. Generally satisfied earlier.

Dior history exibition was wonderful. On Sunday, it opens at 11 am. I arrived 11:30 am and there was already a long line. If you go online, purchase ticket and print it, you can save time to enter on the other much shorter line.
