Awesome, awesome, awesome place!! So much fun! So many great rides! Try to pack your lunch/dinner because food prices are crazy!!!! If you get a season pass the unlimited drink upgrade will pay for itself in 1 trip, it's well worth it especially on a hot day. The park is clean with plenty of restrooms. There is a special area just for kids. The water park is awesome too! Great place for a while family to have fun!

With the Gold Membership and meal plans, makes visiting this great park very affordable. Could use a few more rides for 6-7 year olds: seems they're just too short for the bigger rides and too old for the "kiddie" rides. Regardless, our son has a great time and looking forward to being able to ride the bigger rides.

This place is such a great place for families and just everyone in general. They have great rides to choose from as well as great shows. My family has season passes and we love Kings Island.

Many of the rides are bumpy old arrow coasters, a few coasters are fantastic worth the trip if you've never been (the beast, the diamondback, the banshee). But the overall lack of quality food and restroom facilities, and a poorly trained staff, make you feel that this is true secondary Cedar Fair park. If the people run the park don't care about it, how are customers supposed to?

I love Kings Island. It has such a great place but yes the lines are long. The only few complaints I have are. I went right before school started and during Halloween haunt and the coke freestyle place near the train station near diamondback was closed so the only 2 places to get a freestyle drink is Juke diner near Vortex and the coke market place near slingshot or Vikings Furry. I love the Cincianti red hall of fame cafe near diamondback great during Halloween haunt so u can watch football games but I wish they had more people to help with the bar when the parks really crowded. The last thing is I wish they wouldn't t let parents with small kids come In or in already from the kid friendly event the snoopy Halloween party.

While I'm no longer a Gold Pass holder, I do still enjoy a trip to Kings Island once or twice a year. Some of the rides have gotten progressively more and more rough over the years (whether that's due to poor maintenance or unavoidable over the lifespan of an amusement park ride), surprisingly even Diamondback has gotten rough in the troughs of the track.

Parking can sometimes be a disaster on busy days and you'll end up in BFE with a long blacktop walk to the entrance but that's really just an amusement park thing not unique to Kings Island. The ticket prices haven't gone up in recent memory and you can get them at a discount at a lot of places (like Kroger, or some credit unions), but the parking fee is still a bit much on top of the ticket.

Getting both the amusement park and the water park with one single ticket is pretty nice though and adds a lot of value (potentially at the cost of making The Beach Waterpark that much more abandoned).

The park is always really clean and well kept, and the staff are usually pretty friendly and helpful.

My biggest gripe is the cost of food (again, I realize this isn't unique to Kings Island and is just an amusement park thing). A lot of even the basic food is marked up to pretty exorbitant prices (even Skyline Chili), and the Reds Hall of Fame restaurant has some of the worst made food I have ever eaten for the price (seriously it tastes worse than some fly-by-night, no-name buffet off a random highway).

Loved Planet Snoopy, the new Dinosaur walk thru was a total waste of time. The poor girl working in there, I felt sorry for her, first day on the job & the teenage manager had just dumped her with no instructions on how to do anything. The teenage manager was rude.

Great amusement park with rides for everyone. My only complaint about KI is the food service. The prices are a little high even for a park like this but I don't mind that so much with the Meal Plan which makes it better value. My main gripe is the service. Most of the associates working the food lines are teenagers who are slow and unsupervised. I hate spending 30+ minutes in line to pay for something to eat. Wish they had an order online option or something.

The park is very clean and the ride lines aren't too long depending on when you go. The food is overpriced, but that's to be expected. The season pass is a good deal if you like to go often.

Plenty of interactive activities throughout the seasons. Take care not to come on busier days such as Fridays or Saturdays, because the lines for rides are always extensively long on these days. Getting a gold pass is worth the cost.

Always a good time. Although I do believe we should be able to take off our masks while riding the ride since we are 6 ft away and also it's super hard to breathe already on the bigger coasters and felt even worse with the mask on. That's all.

This place is very good for the kids. We went just before Halloween for multiple days. I just want to bring up the fact that I couldn't believe how much tickets are at the park. I stepped out of line with my smartphone and bought tickets online. I then used my phone and barcodes are available for the park security to scan on your phone. I saved over $100 just on a one day admission for my family. So overall it's a great place. Just save yourself some money and buy your tickets online. They will even tell you at the window it's cheaper online but they can't do anything to match the online price. Have fun.

Terrible . I had purchased season passes for my family. And my son was not allowed to get picture taken unless removed hat . This is unexpectedly it should be a right if someone wants to have there hat on or not .its America right . It was the 4th of july he even offered to turn it around and the lady said no . It was really unexpectedly i already paid for these passes. So not a good course i guess next year i will know better.

This park was would have been so much more amazing if 2 things had been different it needs more locations with the park map on it. Abd two if it hadn't rained. We got here at noon, you have to pre order tickets right now due to covid and its non refundable. It rained from 12 30 to 3 a huge majority of the rides shut down during the down pour so we walked around soaking wet with blury glasses unable to see much inhead of us only one pavilion to sit at that provided coverage and tons of exspensive restaurants. Its a non smoking park so be prepared for long hike to the front entrance when you intend to smoke. Six flags in ny is non smoking but provides areas through out the park. Because of the weather it wasn't until 4pm we found the one huge map of the park and the path to this amazing small childrens rides area hidden on the right side down a path that isn't very obvious if ecspecially if you take the left instead of the right path in the beginning of the park. By 5pm we were beat down tired sopping wet and ready to go home whicb was so unfortunate for the littles. Had the weather been good and more map locations it would have been a 5 star day. The place is stunning. They are extremely picky about keeping your mask on the entire time. Even when your on a ride and social distancing is absolutely possible. So thanks again for that covid. The eifel tower has elevator rides to the top for an amazing view of the park if your not afraid so afraid to look around once your up there

This review is late because I visited with my wife and kids in April 2019. My only complaint is the kids rides are separated from the big rides so my older son has to walk far to meet his mom. Apart from that, amazing! Diamondback, mystic timbers, and the beast are world class! I do not mind that the beast is rough and I think it was a good reason they closed vortex. That was rough. I recommend it to anyone and thank you very much Kings island staff!

Best Christmas lights in Ohio. There's something for everyone. Ice skating, cookie decoration, Christmas carolers, live shows, a few rides still open, candy shops, hot chocolate cups with free refills, the list goes on. Oh and let's not forget station to write Santa a letter which is taken to him from one of his elves. U can buy next year's season pass and see the lights this year and next. They have payment plans as low as $11 a month. Great gift that can be appreciated all year long. This is our 3rd year and we still love it. It's better every year.

They took all the nostalgic Rides away. They were replaced with roller coasters. Needless to say Les rides you can do the parking 3 hours on a non busy day and it's not worth the money. Family places are supposed to be about family yet everyone I saw was aggravated at the prices and lack of activities. A family of four would spend upwards of $400

Always fun, but too busy in the summer for my liking, especially with how hot it gets. Good evening thing with my kids on weeknights, or in the fall once it cools off. Haunt seems cool, but I'm a scaredy cat. Wish the hours weren't so limited after summer.

Kings Island is so much fun. There is so much to do here for the grown-up crowd, as well a huge kiddie area. They have some great rides. The place is well-themed and always clean. I get a season pass every year and go several times every season.

The reason I only gave this place 3 stars though was because of the unfriendliness of the park staff, and the over-priced unfresh food. When I am spending $20 or more on a meal just for myself, I expect fresh food, not stuff that has been sitting under a lamp for who knows how long. And the park staff seem to get more rude every year.

Hello, I spent over $500 last year on GOLD passes with free drinks and free food and was not able to use them but one time due to a automobile wreck. So I contacted them to see about a replacing my passes and was told WHEN I CONTACTED KINGS ISLAND THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY WAS SORRY BUT THEY COULD NOT HELP ME!

I love this park! 2017 will be my fourth straight year as a gold pass holder and the park never fails to thrill me. Diamondback, the Beast, Vortex, and Banshee are world class coasters and among my favorites, and the Racer, Flight of Fear, Drop Zone and The Bat are just a hair below that caliber. Most of the other rides are pretty good too. Mystic Timbers is bound to be a very good coaster too. The waterpark is excellent but can get crowded very quickly on hot summer days. All around this park is world class and with a gigacoaster can easily rival Ohio's other great amusement park, Cedar Point.

We had an amazing time here. Unfortunately someone stole our drink cups. $60 total it was a hard hit for a single mother trying to let her kids have a good day.

Some of the vendors were grumpy (subway) but the rides are amazing and it was really hot so it is understandable.
