Your family can have a fun time and can go on great family rides
Very good experience. Have some of the best wooden coasters that ever road and some of the biggest metal roller coasters I've ever road as well I've been to many theme parks across the United States and this one's right there at the top
Beautiful fall decor and they've got lots of protection in place for COVID. I felt very safe bringing my family there, although they do tend to be more crowded than I would like by afternoon.
(Pre COVID) this park is amazing and offers a reasonable value compared to most other amusement parks. Solid variety of rides and usually the lines aren't that long compared to Disney World they are very short. Water park is awesome but usually too crowded on nice days.
(During COVID) Food prices have gotten better but the quality sometimes isn't consistent or that great. They need to bring back the Food Trucks if they can't manage the food. This park has a good variety of rides for adults and decent for kids as well. Unfortunatly Chick-fil-A is still not open on Sundays here .
I took my son to play here last Friday, the kiddie rides are not all open but they do try to accommodate most of them.
Compared to many other parks this is overall a solid decent value for your price.
Such an awesome theme park right in my own backyard. Classic rides like the Beast and new soon-to-be classics like Mystic Timbers.
It's the best at Kings island there is so much to do and lots of places you can shop and eat plus you never have to worry about safety everything there is super safe and gets check Ed every single day I recommend going here if you like rides you won't regret it
Great place lots of fun. I would tell my friends wife n me love everything
Expensive to eat here (expect around $12 per meal). However, it has some of the best rides in the Midwest!
There is also Halloween fest which includes several haunted houses.
Not enforcing social distancing. Kids are right up on you in line. Masklessness here and there.
First time in kings island and not a very good experience they kept closing most of the rides just because a little bit of bad weather and the water park was close more than it was open and we were there 2 days it was a total bust we asked for a make up tickets since we couldn t fully enjoy the park and their answer was sorry you ll just have to buy more tickets we don t do refunds or give out make up tickets better luck next time also I think 20 dollars a day for parking is ridiculous just another greedy amusement park
There is so much to see, so much too do, Winterfest is Amazing!!
Atrended last nigbt from 7 pm to midnight.A few rides were down including the Beaat. Last night was fun but there was way too much fog for their "Fright Night", Not enough benches to ait and relax. Also not enough lighting. IF I wasn't a veteran of attending the park it would have been difficult to navigate. Comcessions way too expensive. Not enough water stations
My son had tons of fun and thats what counts. I as the "chaperon ' was frustrated and felt i had to be extra vigilant
Great place for a lot of fun. Nice location for a concert. Some of the better rides at a park
Fun and exciting. The only downside is that it's so expensive
Great place normally....way too many people there on this day to really enjoy yourself. Haunted KI was great but........again too many people. Ridiculous wait times on all rides including haunted attractions. Wish they would cap number of people allowed in park. Would make time there much more enjoyable. The chicken shack restaurant on the inside was an ABSOLUTE DISASTER. They did not know what order went with who. People wprking there did not care if orders were filled and delivered correctly, very disorganized would never eat there again inside the park.
Had a great time was kinda up set wanted to buy a gold card and it has a dead line
Love this place! Sad to the the Vortex leave us but excited for the new rides that are coming! Gold passes with meal and drink plans are definitely worth it!
the staff was especially kind and just really made our day that much better
I love kings island its very fun and it may not be the best amusment park but its still really fun and i think everyone should get a chance to go there because its a really good experiance
Fun but really really expensive...bottle of water 4 dollars..
Me and my group had a blast age levels ranging from 3 to 60 everyone had a blast the rides were fun the employees friendly the food was tasty my only complaints is the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the prices of the food I really think an average of 13 dollars a meal is a bit much
Winterfest we went for the new year celebration...and they were still singing about Santa??? The restaurant's we all closed at 9pm but they were open till 1am??? I just figured for kings island they could do beter....i enjoyed the time with my husband.... lol
Attended during Halloween Haunt with about 22 people in our group. The haunted houses were great. Some not so scary but that was okay for our 9 and 10 year old boys.
Kings Island, you are amazing. I have never not had fun here, even on the busy days! A wide variety of rides and roller coasters in a decently easy to navigate park. I do love bringing new people and look like a tour guide knowing the fastest ways to get everywhere in the park.
As far as food options go, there are quite a bit. Yes it does get a tad expensive, so if you don t want to spend more money, just pack some lunches in a cooler and leave it in your car. If you choose to eat in the park, my suggestion is The Festhaus, right next to the Pirate ship on the left side of Main Street. Great pizza, good size drinks, cool dining area, and often shows going on. My typical food schedule is breakfast at home, Festhaus pizza for lunch, and Skyline Chili for dinner. Somewhere in there you make room for Blue Ice Cream.
If you have some extra money, don t be afraid to buy a fast pass. Yes, if you have a big group, that will get really expensive. But if it s you and a few friends, at least think about it! You can literally ride every ride in the park after a few hours, then do it again! Or ride the train to the water park to soak during the hotter hours of the day. Fare warning though, once you get a fast pass once, it will be soooo hard to go without one ever again.
Finally, if you are looking for a Christmas tradition, check out Kings Island s celebration. Amazing lights, great shows(especially at the Festhaus), and they turn the Main Street fountain into an ice rink!! That s the best part as someone who has been visiting KI for years and always dreamed of diving into the fountain.
This part is good if you are looking for a fun and exhilarating day where you can up your steps average on your Fitbit :)
It s my first time here, very relaxed and refreshed. Amazing king Island!!! A lot of entertainments
If you must go to a cedarfair park this is the best one . The employees are friendly .The park is clean &there are plenty of places to sit and relax in the shade.
It's a fun park with lots of rides but charges insane amounts for small things. Bags aren't allowed on many rides so you must buy a locker for $2. Parking is expensive. Food and drinks are expensive. They need to take some notes from Holiday World.
Always fun to come here, love the rides and the show's they out on
One of the best amusement parks in the state, with so many rollercoasters (and a diverse selection too) that even with a Fast Lane you may have trouble riding them all. Still a little sad I never got to suffer a ride on Son of Beast.
Light crowd today. Minimal wait time in park. Longer lines in Splash City.
My kids had a great time and had the fun of your life
Always have a blast here!!! See ya next year , fast passes and meal tickets are the best way to go! Way worth it!
Good all around park. Great kids area, good coasters but not as good as Cedar Point.
Great experience. Expect high prices when buying food. But everything is quality. Knowledgeable an nice staff. Plenty of different rides for everyone with the Banshee being the scariest. Bumper cars never last long enough.
I LOVE Flight of Fear, The Beast, and Halloween Haunt, and cannot wait for Mystic Timbers. The blueberry vanilla swirl ice cream is always a must every time I go!
I've been a huge fan of this amusement park since I was a kid, and it is by far one of my favorite places to visit! With the best thrill rides you can ask for, an exceptionally friendly staff, and very well-kept grounds, it's a great place to spend a day (or two) with friends and/or family!
Been going here since I was a kid. Park has definitely seen its ups and downs. I really like the rides here, but feel the glory days are behind us. I miss when Paramount owned the park and the rides were tied to the movies. Just had a better vibe to it back then.
Have the rides are normally down and when I tried to located MY MINOR brother they said there was nothing they can do since he's over fourteen. Even though I haven't seen him in hours. They could've atleasted attempted to take his description and attempted to help some. But I guess it's too much work to take a description and try to keep an eye out.
Great park, great staff, just seems like you need more of them!
Love the place but was very unhappy that I paid 50 dollars for all day drinks and still had to put them in lockers for rides
Kings Island is a very fun place. The lines can be long though so I recommend going on the weekdays if you can. There are food options which are okay but they can be very pricey. If you're on a budget I recommend stopping at one of the fast food restaurants or local restaurants nearby. The waterpark is very busy and quite popular.
Kings Island is always fun. Season is almost over though. Mystic timbers 2017!
I love this place. Covid is inconveniencing everything right now but kick butt roller coasters and entertaining attractions of all sorts are still just as enjoyable and good for mental health as ever.
Great collection of rides and coasters. Not much shade on the midways. Like nearly every amusement park very busy on Saturdays. Top coasters are The Beast and Banshee
Plenty of rides for all ages. A good variety of old favorites like the Beast mixed with newer roller coasters like the Banchee.
I love the rides and lines for rides and food is short.
Went for winterfest. Good New year's show and beautiful lights. Surprisingly not very crowded, but that may have had something to do with the weather. Food is a little pricey but you have to expect that from an amusement park.
Good variety of rides, coaster times are kind of short short with a little bit of a wait, but a fantastic thrill that is worth waiting in line. Something for everyone, that is for sure. Platinum pass perks were not worth it at all though.
Very nice amusement park! Lots of trees for shade, some great coasters, and the Snoopy land area for kids is quite nice for families with younger ones. Diamondback coaster was down all day :(. Some rides stop accepting riders 10-20 minutes before park close, so beware.
My husband and I found this years Haunt to be lack luster at best. The best thing about it this year is the Pirate area. Otherwise yawn city.
Great selection and the staff is always ready to answer questions
Awesome rollercoasters and rides all around. The Haunt is super fun and festive too
I miss the "Paramount", but the park is still an absolute blast to visit. My favorite time to go is in the fall for Halloween. The atmosphere is amazing around that tie of year.
Kings Island is an amazing place to go for every age!! Ride lines are fast, the service is amazing and prices are cheap!! My daughters are going with their church in a week and they can't wait!! The rides are amazing!!
I LOVED this park. They have rides for younger kids (Planet Snoopy) they have water rides, and thrill rides. Perfect for all ages.
Liked all of the Halloween decorations and all of the family activity
They have closed the diamondback ride for over two hours citing weather as the issue. However, the Vortex has been operating for 1:20 minutes of that time... I am going to Holiday World or Cedar Point next time.
update... Went back and parking is terrible. DON'T GO. YOU ARE BETTER OFF AT CEDAR POINT!
Great place being going there since grade school. I am getting more picky on rides as I get older and the Diamond Back and the Banshee are the only AAA rides on site. Beast is the beast and Vortex is showing its age. My family enjoys the KI haunted experience each year - not for little ones.
Fantastic for all ages spring through the holiday season. We visited for winter fest and it was fantastic!
I didn't like the way that they handled situation when my son got lost
If you have a fast pass then you are good all day. If you do not, then earlier the better lol
Horrible Wait times. And main attraction breaking down like every 45 mins for 15 mins.
Had a great time. The only thing I wish they had was more water bottle refill stations.
