Too many issues with rides in one visit. 3 rides down in one visit is disturbing to say the least. Worst when you wait in line for nothing, disappointing.

The lines are quite reasonable for an amusement park especially the high thrill rides. Good variety of activities for all ages.
Food needs improvement in the kids area taste like it was freezer burnt.
bought membership for the whole family and already been here three times. Kids have a lot of fun and can spend a whole day
Lots of fun. We went in the lazy river & floated down it. We also went in the large tube & got soaked. Went with my kids there.
My Kids Love This Place!!!! Membership is Affordable & Great When You Have Alot of Kids!!! Get Atleast 2 Gold Passes for Parking. Lol
Closed for some dumb event... I guess you guys don't care about the season pass I paid GOOD MONEY for.
Great place to hangout with friends , kids, family. Plenty of options for rides, but very limited when comes to water rides!
Nice place, but food and beverages are too expensive
Very nice to go in family maximum in this season I recommend it. Much diberization
It's a pretty cool place, typical amusement park. Personally, I feel like the rides aren't too thrilling or anything but that's probably just me. Food's a little pricey but that's expected. It sort of feels like it lost that happy vibe though, like there's no more excitement in the air.
Its been many years since i have last visited this park. I was so disappointed with what they have done to this once exciting place. The railroad is gone. There are spaces of cement where rides use to be. Old town square looks like an outdoor mall with Subway Sandwiches. Panda Express, Auntie Annes Pretzels. The only area that appears to have survived unchanged is Orleans Square....well almost, i remember a trolly use to go through this area. The charm of the park is lost and i cant see it recover anytime soon.
We deliver some coaster columns to this place, fallow instuctions to call receiver as soon as we where loaded FOR WHAT!! we where there from 7pm Thursday till 11am next day. REALLY! "Receivers" show some respect and stick to your word !
Great America I love Great America I've been going there since I was little and now I'm grown and I still go there
Very nice park just need some parades and more shows because they are poor in that way and also more fireworks
Thrill and fun. If you re not scary and love thriller then must try Rail Blazzer and flight deck
I loved the coasters. Can ride rail blazer over and over again....
amusement park... but also redzone rally before 49er home games
The rides are as fun as I remembered when I went as a kid. Drop tower was changed though, it only goes down once now. Other than that, I enjoyed all the rides I went on, the actor in the mass effect 4D ride was AMAZING! I got to win several stuffed animals too, I'll be going back when my brother gets more free tickets.
I took my son to ride this drop zone ride. He ask me to ride with him. We love it
Its a great family place. Lots of rides. Food. Music. Live entertainment. Come and visit you won't be disappointed
Good place if you want to kill some time and go on roller coasters. Not quite as good as some of cedar parks other parks such as cedar point or knights but still with a visit
Been to this great America 3 times and just about every time 1/3 of the rides were operational during peak hours.
Grate place to take the kids and have fun. Also a great place to bring out the kid that's inside of you and have fun.
RUDE WORKERS, PREJUDICE WORKERS, COST HIGH, PARKING ISSUES, ON LINE OK.
We went on a week day not a whole lot of people. But seemed to not get thru all the rides. The all day pass for food was actually a great concept but not good for the price of the band and then some of the places like sweet treats don't except it. When you have kids that is what they want as well as food. We used the food pass one time not worth the cost.
Now parking well I tried to get the perfered parking and online said it was sold out. When we got there and up to the time we left , there was so many empty parking spots. I am disabled but time don't have a placard so parking some what close would have been nice.
The guy that worked in the old time picture store was very rude and told us we couldn't do the picture session even if we did like 2-3 sessions we had 13 people in our group and it was my grandson's birthday so this was disappointing for him and his friends. As well as my family, my son came in from Montana and we hadn't had a family picture in years so myself and my 4 grown children wanted to do a fun family pic and this guy just told us no he wouldn't do it. When we walked by about a half he later there was about 15 people in there he was getting fitted in outfits. Just very disappointed.
Really friendly for a group or whole family trip.
There are different level of rides you can chose.
Fun and relax place to go.
If you live in north California and have little kids, definitely worthy to get a Gold pass.
But food there is not that good.
Preparing your own lunch at home maybe is a better choice.
We went during "off season" and it was awesome! Surprisingly clean, short waits on pretty fun rides, and reasonably priced food! This was my wife and my first time here. It was a great value!
Good fun for kids and adults. Annual pass is definitely worth it to visit Halloween, winterfest and summer water parks
New year fireworks were surprisingly absolutely great
Their Halloween Haunt is a ton of fun. Highly recommend it.
Came for Halloween haunt. Ride lines were short because everyone was lining up for haunted houses
Pretty nice amusement park. This amusement park is for rollercoaster lovers. If you come with kids then expect them maybe going on no rides.
A long time ago when i was 14 years old since 2008 and we went to the field trip at Great America from Benjamin Franklin Middle School. PS You don't have to thank me but this theme park from Santa Clara is so much fun.
Really nice experience for Halloween, lots of fun, lots of people
Super pretty Many games for children of different ages. Good staff My kids love going to these games. The bad thing that sometimes on Sundays is kept closed.
Loved this place. Only reason I am giving 4 stars because I feel they can add more ride options for smaller kids. Special festivals Halloween, winter fest are awesome here
Great place to definitely go an visit. Rides are a thrill, "bigger" rides, that is. Place was well kept & staffed. Venues, like food n drinks, as to be expected.. bit on the pricier side of things. Water park area, when a bungalow reserved very well usefull. Kids, teens, and adults, can easily have a good time. Thumbs up from all whom we went.
For thirty five years I have been going here and bringing my kids for almost ten years. It is always good. I like nights and Halloween the best. When I was a kid we would come here for IBM days and all the rides were open in the winter and there were no lines.
One new development is disturbing. No tickets in the arcade? What is the point without tickets?
They also took out the log run? Whoever made that call needs to find a new job.
Last, the line cutting fastlane stuff is dumb. Nobody likes those people and they look like fools cutting line. That is some straight mid-west stuff.
Absolutely beautiful. Amazing selection of rides. Got undercooked chicken though
It's an amusement park. What's not to like? No long lines some good deals on drinks and my kids love it. I would recommend getting the year pass to anyone that lives close enough. Will definitely be returning with my family.
Thrilling rides for teems and adults. Not good enough for younger kids and family
This place is fun for kids and adults I suggest going later when the lines go down like after 4 pm for rides but if your going for the water park earlier is better
We been to ganesh utsav here..the parking ticket is very expensive but the ganesh g idol is beautiful as well as the shops here for jewellery, kutis, lehanga, skirts are useful.
I went there for the Halloween Haunt, it was absolutely amazing. I went on 4 haunted houses out of 8, the road kill haunted house was the best one, I'll admit, it made me curse a lot because of the jumpscares. If you're looking for a very scary one I would recommend the Wax Museum Blackout, and the Tooth Fairy one. Those 2 were absolutely crazy.
This place is awesome! The only thing that I have a problem with is that they don t take a ton of care of their equipment. I was stuck for about half an hour on a ride, and as compensation everyone got fast passes. Not my group. We already had fast passes, so we got free drinks every hour and free food every hour and a half. Other times were really fun, my friends and I love going here!
My review is for customer service ...not the park itself. I called as well as emailed with a genuine issue regarding my upcoming visit. Both went unanswered. As a repeat season pass holder, I expected more. All staff in the park is great. Mostly young kids but friendly and attentive .I just wish the people in the office had been the same.
*UPDATE*
I didn't mention that my reason for contacting customer service was to requests changing the date on a cabana rental .My reservation was for Monday July 16th but can down with food poisoning the weekend prior. I did eventually receive a voice mail offering to change the date of my rental. Unfortunately the call was made to me on Wednesday the 18th. Two days after the date I had a reservation for. My return call has again gone unanswered .
Loved going here as a kid it's still just as fun as an adult and now I take my kids and they love it.
We loved coming to the games and the theater this Christmas this super dad.
Everything is pretty pricy in the park lol for no reason so be prepared for that ,they are updating the park with the water park ,they need to update HALLOWEEN HAUNT because it s getting old lol or maybe I ve gone too many times. The rides are good but sometimes they break down a lot
This amusement park is enormous with a variety of rides and games.
It's so much fun there! All od the rides never get old and i just had to get a gold pass!!! One of the things that i was a little bummed about is that every time I go the new ride is not open!! But in the end it deserves a five star rating
Because it is very beautiful and because it has swimming pools for children and everything is very safe to get up to the games they always assure you and also in the pools and many life-saving ones that are attentive to save lives here in need I recommend it we always had an amazing time love Ami and amis children
Had a blast but two rides simultaneously were shut down and put a slight damper on my mood but it's hard to blame the park for such issues
Food catered by GA is terrible. The whole experience is nothing to remember. Much better to go for a hike or swim and then eat a good meal somewhere nice.
Reasonable rides, good funnel cake, dippin dots available from carts inside the park. Personal favorite ride was the mass effect 4d experience, however they need to flush the water lines on that ride with chlorine.
