I ve been coming here since I was a kid and had a season pass at one time, great park for the thrill seeker looking for fast rides, not so great for those that can t handle those kinds of rides but still plenty to see, do and ride. There s a section of the park dedicated to small children and slow rides. This amusement park is one of the best values in the country with an entrance fee of around $40

Food cost is too high. Used to have better deals. $4.50 for bottle water or soda. They try and sell you $30 of soda at once. When ride's stop they leave you waiting in line waisting your whole day for nothing. Hopefully next time is better since we have season passes. I recommend eating at a restaurant nearby or bringing a cooler. You can picknik in the parking lot and bring your own water inside. I like the funnel cake with ice cream

Great park! The goldstriker was our favorite coaster by far. The new one, the Patriot, is a bit overrated, not worth it if the line is long. Food is also expensive, and if you're going all day (12 hours) I definitely recommend the $30 unlimited meals pass, since meals are around $15 anyway.

Came here for a two days excellent value $59 special included parking and one meal and food is good here at great America. And lines are short and fast. Also very. You lose a little points on Park service's though. we bought the 1999 picture package but had very few photographers in the park so we didn't get a lot of pictures.

California's Great America remains a fun place to visit and have adventures. Full of roller coasters and rides, it still sports a day of fun and even water play. We've been going for years. While I truly enjoy going to the park, I feel they are doing a bit too much that is not included with the price of admission (which is not inexpensive). More and more rides and attractions are closed or cost extra. Please consider fixing that Great America. That being said, our family still enjoys visiting and seeing the new things and going to traditional places. I'm pleased to have this in the area and hope its thrives.

We went on Labor Day this year, expecting capacity crowds. Surprisingly the park was quite empty and we were able to ride EVERY SINGLE ride we wanted with little to no wait times.

A once in a lifetime chance of this happenning and it happened as we were celebrating my 41st birthday!

Its fun for the whole family. During the summer the water park is great, they have a huge pool that only goes about 3ft deep which is awesome for kids without parents having to worry. I love their Halloween Haunt & all of the free haunted houses.

I went during the Halloween Haunt...you can expect long line's..like any amusement park.. ... even more so during these special events. .... So when i hear people complain about the price I don't get it? You can pay $50 & you get parking, admission & parking for 1.. It's totally worth it! Italso includes entry to Boomerang Bay Water Park..where I love to be during the summer. There's a wave pool ..a huge giant pool with waterfalls all over it.. I have taken my kid's who literally play in the nickelodeon like park..while I lay in the wave pool for hours..or theres many childrens rides... They have a part where there are many game's the kind where you win stuffed animals and toys..many places to go see a show.... you can go eat they have a few spots that are ok.. expect to pay alott for food...there are lot's of new & old roller coasters! lot's of different adult rides & all the rides are lot's of fun..it's definitely got parking that's $20.00.. There is also plenty of handicapped parking.. ..the bathrooms can use some attention regarding..the shortage of toilet paper, seat covers & hand paper..it's not acceptable as a regular visitor who doesn't mind the prices being so high... except when every time! not some time's!? Or a few time's but every time I visit the bathrooms are not clean. nor are any of the abovementioned thing's are available.. they should pay more attention to that..they do have character's that walk around & can be quite entertaining for the kid's..they do have wheelchairs. Strollers as well as lockers for storage all available for rental ..

Beautifully decorated for Christmas! Was very busy for New Years. Great job on fireworks...appreciate that they were lit at 9pm. Food lines were insane. Coffee and cocoa made big money. More fire pits and no saving seats! Freezing but had a great time. Another great Cedar Point park. Clean. (Snowed on chair!)

Visited for winterfest on new year's eve. It was crowded as expected but they didn't have enough staff to manage the rides. Half the rides were not working. Fireworks were pathetic. Lighting and decoration was the only highlight.

It is sooooo small and overpriced. Six flags is like 3 times the size and has a cheaper entry price. A ton of their rides were closed so like there was nothing to do. Also, we got a henna and it was terrible. They charged us more than what they said plus it was ugly.

Been here in my 8th grade trip in May 2017 and it sucked. Why, well when I went there most of the rides were closed. Honestly I was depressed when I was here for a few hours and I have only ever been to 1 ride for the entire trip. Will not be coming back here ever again. Oh and things there are too expensive. Great America more like the Worst Park of America. Thank you for my message.

Always lots of fun. Have had season passes for 6 years in a row now! My only problem is when there are 20 busloads of kids/teenagers in the park, you can barely move and the lines are outrageous

Huge amusement park with lots of great rides, admission for adults is about 59 dollars and you can expect to spend about 40 to 50 dollars once inside on food and drinks. There is a water section of the park where you can go in your bathing suits and you can expect to get very wet on the more normal water rides. There is a section for children with Snoopy, and the main area of the park right when you come in there lots of restaurants and fast food places like subway, Asian in the box, and Starbucks where you can get food. Depending on the time and day it can very crowded I would say to expect 20 minutes all the way to 40 minutes of wait time in the lines.

My wife, Libby, and I took our grand daughter to G.A. this week. We got tickets at the hotel for $42.00 per person. We thought we got a bargain. At the park, it was $18.00 to park, $14.00 for a tiny locker when we went swimming, $15.00 for a not so good hot dog, lukewarm fries and a coke, $10.00 for a refillable beverage and so on. They also played games with different types of passes they wanted you to buy. They even have some type of fast pass to get you to the head of the line for, I believe, about $30.00. This irritates the people who don't want to spring for the extra money because these people are put ahead of everyone and can even have repeat rides while you wait. We've been to lots of amusement parks and have never experienced the "gotcha" feeling we felt here. What's worse, we drove 700 miles to get there and 700 back. If you are a movie star who makes 20 million a picture, this is your place. If not, stay home.

When we went the park was very quiet, so the attractions were easier to ride ... Super recommended you have to go when you are close to San Francisco, it is in Santa Clara TMB you can visit the Silicon Valley, the roller coasters and the pools and slides you can not miss in summer ... enjoy with your family and friends
