An amazing tour, with friendly guides, and a lot of behind the scene stuff.
An amazing tour, with friendly guides, and a lot of behind the scene stuff.
Nice experience, but expected a little more than a ride around the studio and a walk inside an empty daytime studio room.
Saw a lot of action on this lot and it was awesome with all of the historical props and buildings we were able to see. Tour was well done and interesting with movie and TV show facts molded to what we were interested in. I liked that the tours were kept a small. No more that 7 or 8 people in a tour which was nice to be able to ask questions.
If you re looking for a more laid back tour, with lots of inside movie information, make sure to come here!
Our tour guide Helen was only three months on the job, but she did an awesome job and provided some good and funny information.
It is such an honor and a privilege to be asked by Paramount pictures for our opinion. Elexis Richmond V.I.P (Internal) Movie Post Production Evaluator for Paramount Pictures.
A great place to see what really goes on behind the scenes of the most popular movies of today and yesterday
Best studio tour in town specially in a close group of 6-8people ensuring best of quality
Any movie fan will love this place. Just to see the buildings where some of Hollywood's most classic movies were made is reason enough to visit this place.
We were only disappointed that we were there on a very quiet day. It was like a ghost town! Would have been great to see the place bustling with production.
I think we were just unlucky!
We had a blast and were so glad we chose the Paramount tour vs another studio. While we didn t see any celebs, the highlight was definitely our guide, Robert. His knowledge of Hollywood history and movies was wonderful.
We had a wonderful tour of the Paramount Studios. Our page Brian was an excellent guy. He was resourceful and very pleasant to talk to. I would recommend going to Paramount Studios for a taste of Hollywood.
If you love movies, the Paramount Studios Tour is great, with lots of iconic places and oportunities to take photos on those places.
Catherine was an amazing tour guide and very knowledgeable. Enjoyed the tour and would strongly recommend it to anyone in the Los Angeles and Hollywood area!
Fun little studio tour. There isn't a lot to see on this studio tour but the history is deep. Since the Paramount lot absorbed other lots such as Desilu, the history is awesome! If you want a slice of Hollywood movie history without doing a huge theme park (Universal), this is the spot for you!
Very nice tour. A must see to be honest. The forest Gump bench is in that picture.
Impressive. We saw Octavia Spencer going by on a golf cart, and LLKoolJ outside a studio. Kool man. Of course we had to play it off that we're not star struck.
That was a lot of fun. and as with any of these tour it really is important who your guide is of course. Also, for the next time I would choose the VIP Tour.
Just walking by that historic place allows you to feel the legacy of greatness that has come from there. It was somethin.
Didn't get a chance to do the tour, but the hosts were friendly at the front desk and the building was great to take photographs!
Good value for money, well organized, lots of great info, fun for the family, great in large groups or small
Still didn't get my Steve Harvey check or is this the studio with Dr. Phil
History. Just amazing history. If you love film you are swimming in it at Paramount
Really interesting the attraction, know how s the filming and stage works
It's not a tour, it's a way of life.
Working at this place is one of a movie junkies goals in life. Loads of history and you can almost feel the spirits of cinemas past wandering throughout the property.
The buildings are graceful and remind me of stables at the track. You can tell there is so much history here and it's always a privilege to wander around.
Boring trip. Would rather recommend taking the Universal studio tour in the park. The app recommended is not possible to download from play with a Norwegian account
I AM THE ONLY TWO STAR REVIEW. GIVE ME A NOBEL PEACE PRIZE!!!!!!
I'm just to thank you for listening to us and redesigning the new sonic movie. Wasn't go go watch now i will.
We went on short notice. We made our reservation just one day in advance. The tours were mostly groups of 6-7 people, so they may have consisted of one or two groups for each tour. They matched our party of four, with a very nice family of three, from South Africa. After leaving Universal Studios, which was very crowded, it was a pleasant surprise to be on what I considered to be an intimate studio. Paige was our tour guide, and she was awesome! Also, we did run into some other tour groups, at various studios, and the other tour guides seemed to be very upbeat like Paige. I would highly recommend this tour. I felt it was well worth the money.Nice job by all at Paramount!
A great experince with tour, a nice guide and unique secrets of movie making haha
Taste of LA was fantastic. So many different spirits and delicacies.
Expensive for what you get, seems to be on the way down when you compare it to universal, most things they show you are from really old films
Great Studios to visit: book your tour in advance! You can't just show up at the gate. A lot of interesting stuffs, props, buildings, objects, stories, ...
This was such fun, we got to walk on the set of Grace and Frankie, such a surreal moment. We also learn how the parting of the sea happen in the Ten Commandments. Which was awesome. Bit of history on Lucille Ball/Desi Arnaz True fan, since my love for Star Trek is there fault.
Today (4/22/17) my friend and I wanted to take a tour of a movie and TV studio. There were several choices but we decided to take the Paramount Studio Tour. It truly was excellent! Our tour guide was Ricky and he was great! He answered all our questions and was very knowledgeable about the movie and TV shows. I highly recommend the tour and try and ask for Ricky for even a better experience. Well worth the money. Oh, by the way the Paramount parking lot is $12.00, so try and find parking on the street. Enjoy!!!
Love the backlot for filming, and it has a lot of entertainment industry history.
Nice tour
Our guide was very knowledgeable. Just amazing to know how movies was film
Top notch studio, was treated extremely well while working there
Being born on Location during a Movie...I can only tell you...The people you meet here are great...Only sad thing is----You may never see them again...But hey...Thats Show biz....Awesome Stages..Awesome outdoor stages...Shows from Star Trek to Sabrina-ect..
My tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Unfortunately the tour itself was pretty boring. We only went into one sound stage and many spots were off limits due to the sets being in use. Most of the tour consisted of driving past office buildings and sound stages which was cool but I expected more. It would ve been cool to have actors perform a scene in a real set or stunt actors do a few stunts. Perhaps even visit the costume department and have someone from the tour dressed up like a character from a movie. My tour was late in the afternoon and the place felt like it was closed which was similar to the eerie feeling of visiting a mall right before it closes and everything is shut down. If you re in the area, I would recommend visiting the studio and taking pictures from the outside. You ll still be able to see some sound stages and the iconic Paramount Studios sign. The tour is just not worth it in my opinion. Boring and overpriced.
The history of being one of the oldest studio lot in Hollywood
What a truly amazing experience. The staff we all very welcoming, helpful, and super nice.
It was a bit role but they add up and pays the bills. Paramount like all the others is first class throughout.
A wonderful place for paramount pictures and a dream
Great tour! We went on the set of Grace and Frankie and Dr. Phil. Amazing to stand on the set where Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin live in the show. A lot of history was given on the early days of Desilu Productions, RKO and Bob Hope. Makes me want to learn more about it and read everything I can. Should have done this years ago!
This studio tour will take you back to the history of cinema and how movies were made then and how it has changed now. Forrest gump, The godfather, curious case of Benjamin button and transformers are few of the movies that this studio has produced.
We visited places where movies/ TV series were shot in the studio and a Netflix show set as well (they have pretty high budgets :P).
Our tour guide was very friendly and answered all our questions about the movies that were produced by paramount.
There is a parking area in the photos below which has a crazy little story behind it. (Go visit the place to know more :P) You need to witness all this by yourself to understand the cinematic genius of the movies!
Wonderful tour in small groups and visiting multiple sets from TV shows. Not much movie focus though.
I believe this is by far the best tour of all the Studio Tour s! The films and the television shows filmed here are ENORMOUS! So much history So much detail and the Tour Guides are helpful, informative and friendly! No question seemed beyond their grasp.
When I was waiting at the entrance to the main gate, I thought it was a mistake, but I entered it a little later. Wait for grouping while looking at photos and films at the entrance, start the tour on an electric car
Tour guides such as huge sets, endless lighting, and Hollywood roots can be relied on for geek-class knowledge
Pranormal Activity is also paramount
It s a very fun tour
Really fun
And cool
The nostalgia can't be beat. Take the tour for some good info.
Out of this world. A must see if you get the opportunity
Went here as a substitute for universal studios ,glad I made the decision. Seeing studios of ongoing and previous shows also they give u explanations of how they shoot and how the result of the productions are.
Went for the taste of la. It was a great experience with awesome scenery with lots of delicious foods and alcoholic beverages. Will be back The Taste of LA 2019
Our tour guide Reagan was vibrant and excellent! The tour was great and full of movie magic. I loved it.
We ended up doing a VIP tour which we had an absolute blast. Katherine our guide was absolutely phenomenal, very professional and highly knowledgeable. She made our experience even that much better.
Great tour, very personalised in a small tour like we had. Our page Ben was absolutely fantastic. He had loads of stories for each of the sets and had me truly interested and engaged in the tour.
Great tour, great guide and super nice. It's worth it
Paramount Pictures/Nickelodeon Movies/Hit Entertainment (The Thomas & Friends Movie Variant)
great tour well explained, our guide takes time to answer all questions.
I love the paramount Studio!
I recently went to master of taste and it was parked at this historical studio! Walking into the backlot you are instantly teleported from LA to New York!
I am sure being in LA everyone experience Universal Studios Tram Lot , this brings you to a closer encounter and it was just so much fun!
What a wonderful way to spend time I Hollywood!! The tour group was small enough there was plenty of time for everyone's questions. Seeing the old buildings, props and photos was such fun. Pablo, the guide, was a wealth of knowledge, accommodating, funny and patient. It touched my heart how much time the head sign guy who's family is in the Bay Area (sorry I forgot your name) spent chatting. So nice. And Jeff in Archives - I could have talked to him all day!! So interesting what you guys do. Oh, and lunch rocked. Thanks so much for a memorable experience -
Went on a studio tour today with Sean. He was incredible. Give that guy a raise! The tour was great. Highly recommend.
Very nice visit; but young Americans are more familiar with the actors of TV movies than those of the films of the end of the century: Audrey Hepburn; Marlene Dietrich
Get a tour! The staff is so knowledgeable, kind, and accommodating.
