Paradiso Mexican Restaurant Review

We went there last Tuesday for my granddaughters fundraiser for school, they were donating 15% of all sales to the school for the trip to Washington 2020. We did not have reservations and still were seated within 2 minutes. We had Devin for our waitress and she was wonderful we had 7 people with us and she was on it for all our tables demands. We received service in a timely manner, and all food was hot and delicious. We have been there many times and normally have MJ for our waitress and she is also fantastic, fast at service and friendly. We love yo go eat here.

Good food nice friendly staff portions are large for the price

Dined in the bar. Very accomidating and courteous bar tender/server. Meals were served hot and timely. We felt comfortable there watching the Vikings on multiple TV's.

Delicious food in good company of family. Service was very good except that one of our party waited about 15 minutes longer than the rest of us for his meal. No explanation was given but the server did apologize. Atmosphere was friendly and the seating area was full, so it appears to be well liked. Strawberry margaritas were delicious.

Absolutely amazing service!

My family and I are home sick with Covid and, while DoorDash and Dominos are amazing, the limited options wear out relatively quickly. Twice, Beth went out of her way to accommodate us by taking payment over the phone, waiting for me to call and bringing food out to set down for me to pick up outside. Crazy times... But this place is definitely going out of their way and being difference makers!

I and some other people went there yesterday. For someone's brithday meal. And I thought the service and food was good.

I dined at the bar. Bartender was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. My dinner was delicious and plentiful. The Margherita was good also.

Food was served with excellent presentation and very good quality! Staff was quite friendly and proficient in menu knowledge, as well.

I love this restaurant, and was very disappointed when my order to go got prepared incorrectly; however, the manager on duty ,i apologize i didnt get the gentleman s name. He made sure i was happy so no complaints. 5 + stars

Worst steak I've ever had. A rubber ball would have been easier to chew. Worst part is the manager will not maintain contact.

This has got to be the worst Restaurant I have ever been to. No wonder why they have buy one get one free burritos cause they re garbage. By the time I got my food it was cold, oh but don t worry the plate is so hot it can burn your damn arm off! Makes no sense. If y all like this place, ya need help. Period.

We love Paradiso, we were in the bar.Had a wonderful bartender and enjoyed the taco bar.Will be back real soon!!

Good restaurant: very similar to the Fargo location with the following differences: 1) more jalapenos on the jalapeno burrito (yay!), 2) but no choice of sauce for that, only red, 3) there was an odd moment when the food runner or manager presented the meal and was trying to announce the items. Either she didn't know the menu, or was trying to be funny or sarcastic and the joke fell flat. But other than that, it was good and we would return.

At best I would describe it as a Mexican restaurant. It's not great, prices weren't terrible. I've eaten here twice and at least left full, I hear the drinks aren't bad, service was ok.

Definitely the whitest Mexican restaurant I ve ever had the displeasure of sitting down and eating in! Don t be fooled be the outside, don t be fooled be the deco, or the Spanish music. The only thing Mexican was the modelo! Everything else was just Monterey Mexican! Very disappointed. I left two stars because the service was good and the modelo was cold! And what real Mexican restaurant charges for taco sauce!!!!

Great service! We spilled some of our leftover food and they made a whole new serving for us to take with us!

Chips were not fresh! Couldn't find a whole one in the basket!

Luckiy I gave one star. That's for the service. Food was terrible. I will definitely not eat here again.

Very good food, great staff, good prices. ALL YOU CAN EAT FAJITAS WEDNESDAY

The quick service brings my review up from zero stars. My food was abysmal, completely disgusting. It was a perfect representation of what foreigners think of american cuisine, everything just smothered in cheap cheese. I had a vegetarian "trio" platter. The cheese enchilada had shredded yellow cheese, which had no flavor, no quality, and nothing a mexican would ever use in their cooking with a dry, bland tortilla. The enchilada was the best thing. The burrito was filled with under cooked carrots and broccoli, some peppers, and that was it, no flavor, just crunchy veggies. The chili releno was an abomination. It was this fried square thing. Square. A chili, ok, i can't even. Trashy, flavorless food, and not at all a representation of mexican cuisine.

It was noisy and not relaxing, kids running around and climbing on tables. The food was good not the atmosphere.

We wait for ever 20 minutes for the rest of our dinks I ask if they had salt and pepper I never got it he said they did but guess not allowed to use it. Then took for ever to order food. I won t be back but I traveling but I am sure there are better places in Jamestown ND to eat at

Worst fajitas ive ever had. They put a couple pieces of chicken with my fried onions is all that was.The rice was grainy and flavorless.

This restraunt is one a a few that are in Jamestown. The service was good when I was there it just didn't seem like the best quality. They definitely have a decent selection to choose from and have been in business a long time here. The chimmy was good and their chips and salsa definitely hit the spot. I've been to hundreds of restraunts like this one and that is why I'm giving it an average. I would definitely stop again if I was in the area but it's not one that I would go out of my way to get to. They do have great people that work here though and they always greet you with a smile. Try it today and see what you think. They are always ready to serve if you come in the door.

Foods good and food specials are great, there doing OK on social distancing (booths great/ tables poor)

Service was a little slow, wife's food ok. Mine was very good. We will there again.

It was pretty good for the most part. It probably wouldn t hurt to take a few extra seconds to place the food on the plate a little better because appearance is everything.

The entire dish wash warm all the way through & the plate was scorching hot, so be cautious of that. Food tasted pretty good, nothing was cold & no chewy parts. Staff was friendly & on top of everything from what I seen.

If they have a minute though, one of them should wipe the menus down. An maybe kick up the ac a couple of clicks. Was pretty warm in there.

Really good usually has fast service and good food.

I haven't been here for awhile and I was pleasantly surprised it is as good as I remember it. The service was great and the food just as great! I'll be back!

Took an hour to get food. Place was not busy when we ordered. It took the waitress 20 mins to come and take our order.

I choose this as the best Paradiso in North Dakota. My favorite is the seafood enchilada. I love the sauce and the chips are always fresh. The margaritas do use a mix of simple syrup which I have a bad reaction to. Just a caution in case others can t take that high of a zap of syrup and preservatives. As usual, the service is prompt and I have always had friendly staff. Even when it is very busy, you don t have to wait long to be seated and you are not left unattended.

Not that great, not real Mexican, all you can eat fajitas is the best meal for the cost

Literally the only 2 good things about what had there, the waitress was cute and the hot sauce was good. I can make better food in my truck. Very disappointed! Won't waste my breath past the next sentence. 23 dollars for a lousy burrito, a tamales that was mostly Masa, and a fried corn tortilla with melted cheese on it! Shameful. I wish I would have seen a chipotle or a taco bell!

My boyfriend and I came in and got our chips drinks and food right away then took way to long to get our bill we sat and waited for what seemed like forever and we were the only people in the restaurant it shouldn t of taken as long as it did not very happy and this is one of my favorite places to eat

The hostesses were rude. Our waitress was helpful, but when we brought our rotten tasting beef to her attention, nothing was done about it. We were then redirected back to pay our bill to the extremely indifferent rude hostesses.
This was not a pleasant experience. It was my husband's birthday. Next time we will go somewhere else. It's worth it to just pay for the meal and get good service and food that isn't old, than to have another experience like this one.

Service was good, food was fast. However, two of us ordered the enchilada plate which is normally two cheese and two meat. We both ended up with all meat and it was very dry.

We haven't been there for a long time. Service was great along with the food. The margaritas were tasty also. We will stop again when in town.

Paradiso is not even a mexican word, its italian. The food strays from mexican. My rice was dry, something I haven't had in a long time, dry rice. The fajita was chewier than expected. Best thing food wise, was the salsa dip. I give it 3 stars because staff was friendly and attentive, kept my cup full. Just wished the food had been adequate.

Veryvrasty. Loved the old pictures on the walls. As an historical author they were very interesting.

Food taste good, soft beef cut small pieces with onions, rice and guacamole. I been order to go but inside nice clean atmosphere. I'm not sure understand people who gave low rate here

Decent food. Almost didn't stay since I saw no spanish speaking people in the place but their food was good. Got it to go since we were on a motorcycle and there was a storm brewing. They gave us plenty for take out.

Usually great service, however tonight the server missed one order completely and brought out another that was totally wrong. I understand mistakes happen but to not even offer a sliver of a discount to me was very unprofessional

Was not impressed. Service was just ok. The chicken fajitas were skimpy for the price. Love Mexican food and have eaten at many great places across the U.S. This was not one of them.

Food here is hit n miss! We've had some visits that have been amazing and others were not.....

I always have to ask for my veggies cooked a bit more for the vegetarian burrito. The food is very good and comes in a timely manner. Didn't get any refills for table though.

Great food here and great service. Truck parking across the street. Will be back again.

This was a nice stop for our celebratory dinner finishing our 1600 mile motorcycle ride. Just off the hwy easy in and out,big noticable sign. It took a minute to be seated but after that the wait staff was a bit slow. The food was good, no doubt. Just had to wrangle someone to get a drink and to pay our bill. So if you're in absolutely no hurry this is a really good stop.

Went there for a watermelon margarita, of course! The bartender, Haley, was awesome! I was greeted immediately and served in a friendly and timely fashion. It was a nice atmosphere to sit and have a drink with my friend. I would recommend you go here if you want some delicious Mexican food, tasty drinks and polite staff!

Our meals were good. Chips and salsa, meh. Just passing through the area so not likely we'll ever return .

I guess I should have left reviews on other occasions because they would have been mostly 5 star reviews and I feel bad leaving only a bad review. I love Paradisos and have never had a bad meal until tonight. I ordered the chilli relano, taco, & cheese enchilada plate with green gravy. ( I have ordered this almost every time I eat there). Tonight it came and the green gravy was completely different, it wasn't even gravy, it was like the really chunky green salsa and it tasted nothing like the green gravy ive always had for years. It was very strong garlic taste and was clearly not made like it always has been. My husband said it was absolutely disgusting and I'd have to agree.
My food was also not even lukewarm. The cheese enchilada didn't even have melted cheese in the middle. The Chile relleno was cold! None of us had salsa left and we couldn't get our waiter to even come back to our table to talk to him about the issues with our meal. Will I go back? Probably, because I've eaten there for years and it was great, so I hope the next time the food and service will be back to the quality of food I've had there previously.

Great food! I'm from Texas and was not expecting to find very good Mexican food in North Dakota and was I surprised. Service was fair.

I stay at the hotel across the street all the time
Come in here and eat. The portions r small lets start with the salsa bowel it is 1/3 of what used to be. Ordered the 3 tacos w/ rice and beans. I was shocked how little food u got for $14.00 bucks.
2 bites of rice and 2 bite of beans. The tacos were so thin i had to look for the meat the most food on the plate was lettuce that the tacos were lying on i used to take food to the motel for lunch the next day. I am not a big eater. The service was good and fast
