My company Christmas party was held at the hotel. The decor was festive and provided plenty of room for all employees. The food was delicious and the service was phenomenal. We had a great time!
I attend a professional conference at the Par-A-Dice, the rooms were elegant and we'll maintained. The atmosphere was perfect for the event. Would recommend!
Rooms are pretty nice. I always get free room because of contributing at the casino. Usually don't loose more than the room is worth. Reasonably clean and quiet. Referigerator and free one cup coffee maker.
Everything about my stay was nothing but quality as good as some of the Vegas rooms I've stayed in in vegas

My wife and I were visiting the Par-A-Dice Hotel to participate in a Red Cross blood drive. EVERYONE - Red Crossers & Par-A-Dicers were extremely caring & nice.
Veey nice, comfortable beds, clean,nice view of IL river.

Currently under remodel at least the entryway is but the casino is still up and running 4 floors all types of games table & slots. The construction might be a new restaurant. Hotel is right across the parking lot from the boat. I personally have never stayed there.
I had a great time back. It was my first time back after 20 yrs.
We attended a wedding reception here and had a blast! They were a little overboard with checking our ids to get on the boat and their security wasn t the most pleasant about it either. Other than that we had a fantastic time and the staff was great!

The machines are a little too tight!!! Now for the hotel.....the first one I had was nice and clean. The second time I stayed....Ewww the room was a bit disgusting! The curtains looked as though some bodily fluids were on them and on the lamp shade as well, Ewww! The corners of the dresser was beat up as well as the nightstand, and the table was nasty too. I always make it a habit to bring bleach wipes and disinfectant spray everytime I go to hotels. But this time I used half the container and disinfected the beds, toilets, and carpet. I think the housekeepers are slacking a whole lot or maybe they don't have enought staff to deep clean those rooms. I hadn't been back there since. (The Paradice Hotel that is.) if those machines keep on being really tight I'm gonna have to stop playing at the casino too!

Now for Options Buffet......often I go for the crablegs 1st Friday's or when they serve them as usual
on Saturdays. We went that Friday and it was like they couldn't keep up with the demand! I stood in line for about 10 minutes to finally have a server put more out! It was a good 5 to 6 people other people waiting in line after me. It was like they were not wanting to supply the demand for the crablegs! If you guys don't want to keep up with the demand then stop advertising it, because me I am a avid lover of those legs and it makes me upset when they are not at the steam table. Then thus past Saturday 10/6/2018 again I go for the crablegs as well as others did and this time. It is always a hit or miss! Sometimes they could be just right, boiled to perfection and easy to crack open. Then other times they are soaked in water and difficult to pry open and not as fresh! Please remember we pay $25 plus tips to eat those crablegs, and it is a shame that we can't get consistency when we come eat them. Pull those cooks aside and let them know we want crablegs that are boiled to perfection and not soggy sitting in water!
It's fine if you go with friends and you're only going to use the rooms and you're only going to use it to sleep after a day of walking around the city, but if couple visits is not cool. the rooms are not comfortable at all.

Would definitely stay again. Very clean rooms and property. Shuttle takes you right to the casino or is a nice walk along the pathway.
Had a seminar over the weekend...meeting room and food served was on spot. Staff was in and out throughout the day refilling water,cups,ice etc. Front desk staff was ok..Saturday night was a big cluster for those wanting to shuttle to the Zac Brown concert. Was told 1 bus,leaves at 5pm then later found they were running every 15 minutes but never bothered to put up signage or make any attempt to notify people. We Ubered and it was fine. Rooms were nice and beds comfy...housekeeping gal was super friendly. We didnt use the Casino other than to eat breakfast which they give you coupons for $5 buffet and it was very good.

The classic Paradise Riverboat. It is seeing some age, but the staff does their best to keep the facade inside nice and clean.
Enjoyed a weekend package at the hotel and casino while celebrating wedding anniversary. Hotel accommodations were fine. And the casino was fun as well.
Casino Only: Very crowded, all decks packed in like sardines. We walked in, looked around, walked right back out. Saw many people that didn't care about how they dressed; ratted out and tattered clothing, very unpleasant atmosphere. There was a couple people being pushed around in wheelchairs and had difficulty moving because of the confined space to get as many games on the boat as possible.
My first time and when the weather gets warmer I will be back. Love the staff especially the one on floor 5. Thank you so much
Pretty decent small casino. I only went to play blackjack. The dealers were down to earth kind of folks. Extra points because I didn't walk away a loser.
It was fun, but way too many penny slots, food was marginal, service only fair, and it s loud just about everywhere.
I usually have pretty good luck at casino s and this one not a bit of luck. Jumped around and played some slots. Hit my lose limit and it's time for me to walk. Nice casino just not a place that has very loose slots in my opinion.
Bed bugs .. When u call they will try and cover it up!! I have photos and all. I will be contacting an attorney!!
Oddly, no good crosswalk from the parking lot to the hotel. Otherwise, experience there was relatively limited. The room used for our gala was nice enough.
I'm not much of a gambler but enjoyed my one trip here with my husband.

Wonderfully clean hotel with a great view of the river if you ask for it! Mini fridges in the rooms as well.
If you like to gamble go to Par-A-Dice. They have slots machine, poker, roulette, and so many other games. On the boat they have three levels you can visits. I played the video roulette.
Had a friend's wedding and reception. Nice clean ballroom. Nice space. Good bartenders.
Red Hot Christmas was a blast! Nice venue. First time here and I ll be back!!

I went to the Rocks bar. I had a glass of water I couldn't get refilled. When I went to the bar to order actual drinks, the bartenders would not take my orders. I left and spent my money elsewhere.
I was there for a Christmas party. I did not spend the night.

To many people at the poker table & not enough dealers. I MEAN, for real though. If you got a FULL POKER TABLE & 5 People on a waiting list. , why Not open another table. OR TWO?? I SAT for 2 an a half hour & still didn't get to play!

Person 1, A lot of outdated machines, newer machines are set really tight on payouts, bonus games hard to come by. Person 2, Blackjack dealers not very personable. Person 3 Soda cups too small for thirsty patrons, elderly patrons leaving there walkers in the middle of aisles. Person 4, it's a casino, your not going to get rich, bit stuffy, air circulation not filtering out the smell of old people piss, cocktail waitresses were on the ball with drink offers.
We rented a room for the night and it was ok. Nothing fancy but nice enough. The casino was very small but kind of neat since there are not many river boat casinos left around. Overall it was just okay.
Our stay was in room 321 it was very clean the buffett was better than some of the other visits I would rate this trip very good
Hotel staff was very friendly and kept facilities very clean.
