Many controls, including where to scan your passport and take a picture yourself. Good selection of shops and restaurants otherwise
Awesome place to live or visit.32 visits from myself.always excited m kat every visit. A welcomibg pkace to live with all year round sunshine friendly locals.
Irreproachable. After the arrival, everything went quickly and efficiently.
An eerie place! The queues are huge! It's not really clear where to go and where to get in line
I really like this airport. Every time i come here, its clean, smooth and even the first time I arrived in the middle of the night and was a bit cautious about the group of taxi drivers standing in front of the airport. But I learned the airport and all connected services with the airport are smooth and safe. Nice airport to arrive or leave from. If you are departing it has two lounges and a big number of shops which are open also late in the night. For arrival there is a coffee shop, snacks and all other common airport services.
Racism, EU second-class citizenship and nonsense at passport control
According to my experience, the airport was beautiful and the staff were very good and safe as well
Very smooth procedure at immigration, I cleared myself in 1 minute & baggage came in 3 minutes. Literally I was out of the airport in 10 minutes after landing, fastest airport clearance in my 45 years traveling around 33 countries. Can't expect more. Thanks Cyprus, love you so much
We had luggage problem because they didn t know how to explain us how they handle the whole luggage process, so we had to throw some stuff away. And whoever we asked about that, they said that they don t know anything about it. There is no priority boarding, and whole process of checking-in and boarding was really confusing. Worst airport experience so far!
Good but they need to be a bit more organised in relation to Covid 19 tests.
3 Stars because of the new layout on the way to the gates. It's just awful. You have to go through all the duty free shops, it's misleading, and you will wonder if you are in the mall or the airport.
The new self-service check in is nice and handy, scant your ID, take a photo and hand the printed card to the customs.
In general its pretty nice and modern. They said exit to the gates is just big turn off for me.
In low season there are few flights. Quiet and crowded. Duty Free shops are very expensive, souvenirs here do not make sense. The water in the departure zone costs a minimum of 1.8 euros.
Okay what phase, it looks good but we waited an hour to pass the test. When we arrived with 2-3 other flights it was a bad omen, the Cypriots tsaioi to interrogate the French, the Greeks to shout for the delay, the Spaniards to cough on everyone and the rest to lean on you and ask what happened? Drop us girls what happened we will all stick to the coronation that happened.
Nice and cozy airport. Do not rush to take a taxi on the arrivals exit. Drivers are arrogant and rude and charge twice a normal price. Better book from any of the available app, or just google for private drivers. If you walk to the left end of the arrivals hall you will find the intercity buses, they go each 30 minutes and cost reasonably. Free wifi is available on the road.
An organized clean airport with many shops is easy to find for anyone who smokes at the back of Burger King you will find smokers.
A small airport, almost all signs in English, so everything can be found. Buses, taxis, coffee shop and most importantly helpful staff
Incredibly noisy and confusing airport. Bad with info boards and a chaotic security check. Screaming at the speakers almost all the time. Here you need not be longer than necessary
Easy to find information and all gates are less then 5 min walk away
Who flies victory with hand luggage, purchases from duty-free will need to be placed in the calibrator along with luggage, do not get carried away with purchases)
Do not travel to this airport if you are muslim black or dark haired, theese so called inspectors "randomly" select all racially profiled people and harass them for hours.
A nice small cosy airport. Easy to get in and out. Simple and fast immigration. Very friendly staff.
After a long queue through security my young goddaughter spotted a lovely lady applying face paints and having lots of fun with other children. We learnt that her name was Christina and quickly relaxed my goddaughter who can be shy and proceeded to play a few games with the children that had already started gathering! Christina is incredibly talented face painter, she could be an artist! After chatting to her, as she is incredibly friendly and her spoken English is better than mine, I learned that she is also a make up artist... I just wish she lived in the UK, I wouldn't hesitate to use her for myself. Well done Larnaca airport for employing such a brilliant young lady. It certainly made the usual wait at the airport far more interesting for the little ones!
This is a clean and well organized airport with convenient rental car and airport shuttles to different cities right at the arrival terminal. When we arrived the early morning, the information desk clerk Mr. Sparhias walked extra miles to help us contact rental car. It turns out almost staff at the airport is helpful!
The airport offers good facilities to travellers such as free unlimited wifi (good one), charging plugs areas, bureau of change, atms, shops, restaurants, bars, etc. It has good local transport connections (buses)
Great airport. There are many check-in desks, but very few working desks at passport control and a huge crowd at the personal search.
One of the best and most modern airports in Europe I have visited ... 5 stars !!!
Small but nice. It is clean and you find your way very easy
Very efficient airport, clean and easy to navigate, highly recommended
Excellent excellent service. An international airport located in Larnaca.
Nice place ... revamped it now ... but very small duty duty
Unfortunately the service is very good. I have traveled to Cyprus many times and I always have a lot of luggage !!! Unbelievable hassle !!! I waited for an hour and a half!
Very nice atmosphere at the airport, they will always tell you, help. Many shops, duty-free, there is always a place to sit down. The only negative is the very expensive parking
The sea is clean, the sand is grayish.
The city itself is of course like a village, but there is a place to walk (Center). I liked it, I advise.
A beautifully organized space, only a black spot of luggage control where it is to be ...
Terribly unorganized with incompetent staff that caused delays without any reason.
It is a good airport, but not everyone knows the information about buses and how to get the different parts of Cyprus
Perfectly fine airport. The terminal is very modern and open which is is nice and there's plenty of facilities. the arrival experience was odd. the automatic passport machines they use for EU citizens are really strange. You have to scan your passport on these machines, before they print out a piece of paper with your picture on to scan on your way out. if you get an X on your picture you have to be manually reviewed. They also didn't tell us that if you were under 16, you would get an M on your piece of paper and it had to be reviewed. Needless to say, everyone was confused.
The departure experience was easier. You had to go through the weird passport machines again but it was easier than it was since we had already done it before. There were also plenty of facilities but some parts of the terminal, despite being quite new, did feel neglected. Please do keep in mind that most shops do tend to shut from about 10PM onwards, which would be fine, if pretty much all the flights to the UK weren't scheduled to leave until after 10PM. my flight to Manchester wasn't scheduled to leave until 0:45 and it was delayed until 2:30, so needless to say it was incredibly boring.
Overall, a decent airport; not terrible, but not that great either
A well-equipped airport, at a high level, modern. There is a Costa cafe and a souvenir shop if you do not have time to buy something. Lots of shops, where to eat. For smokers a great news - there is a smoking room :)
for 8 hours, the airport staff was unable to identify if my passport was biometric. about 20 different officers told me it wasn't, without even checking it. I was not allowed on my flight, was transferred to interrogation room, wasn't given any answers whatsoever. They lied by saying that airlines have blocked me (which was utter nonsense). Afterwards they forced me to buy a ticket back to my home country, in case I wasn't accepted in my destination airport. All in all, I had to buy 3 different tickets and on top of that, 2 different tickets were voided (because the airport staff didn't know how to check passport!!!!) It's a bloody joke, not an airport.
, .
Very friendly staff. Check-in was smooth and easy. Security check was at a very high level. In Larnaca the staff made a huge difference.
Good airport, but I did not find any places for charging gadgets. Baggage inspection (after passport control) hell. I only saw this in Gatwick. Cream 120 ml taken from me. Although I fly a lot, most often miss such an excess in volume without problems.
A very pleasant and well-organized airport. Waiting for the flight have nice memories. Nice and helpful service. I can confidently say that this is one of the best airports I have ever been to.
Small but comfortable airport. Fast unloading of luggage, and quick passport control.
It was a small airport but clean and I was very easy to use.
The immigration area was very large and smooth.
However, taxis and shuttles are the main access from the city, so it is better to arrange a rental car.
As usual russian speaking staff are not polite at all
I was waiting for them to finish their conversation and to realise that they have one costumer in front of them.
Airport like airport :) but biggest than Paphos airport.
Clean, wide, transparent and simple in positive way
Good handling by specialist staff due to Corona. Quick entry. Were divided into groups.
Excellent Airport that handles crazy volume smoothly
Busy airport.. Facilities and shops ok if a little lackluster in service. Think island pace at the airport.
A relatively new, modern and beautiful airport. I was there, there were no queues in passport control, walking and returning
Duty free
Modern airport. Serene employees at the check-in.
Security check was well manned and also thorough.
As a follow-up to the entry: even the corona test of the entire machine went very quickly due to the CyprusFlyhPass.
The facilities are very good, everything else is TRAGIC. They harass people for no real reason, most employees are rude, DO NOT PRIORITY CHILDREN and you even see large families with babies waiting in huge queues. They do not have a case to make themselves. Either the airport management and policy should change or they should AT LEAST be properly trained and learn how an airport should operate. The prices of food are also tragic. UNACCEPTABLE and I am sorry that for personal reasons I have to travel to Cyprus often and pass through this airport.
All staff were very professional in dealing with the covid-19 situation.
Seeing Larnaka airport empty on arival in August was a vary daunting sight.
