A favorite location for delicious mediterranean food. Service is excellent even when they are busy. I will be back with my coworkers. Not close to my job, I wish it was.

Always love their house salad. Had the ribeye special and it was fabulous!

My first time here and had the gyro plate.it was good but the waitress just dropped off the food and never came back to check on me.I kept trying to get the both waitresses to refill my ice water but they never acknowledged my presence.I finally had to get up and go ask them to come to my table.food was good but the service could have been better.ill try this place once more.hopefully they work on their service

I admire this place very much. there is a happy feeling. The kitcen is wonderful. the service is efficient and the crew is courteous. The price is modest. I highly recommend.

I eat the pistachio crusted salmon every time I visit. It is always consistently good. Five stars!

Love this place,Have never had a bad meal here its always delicious and the staff are friendly,Went there yesterday with my wife and I had the garlic chicken,And my wife had the Mediterranean chicken,delicious as always,We ordered dolmas appetizer,Its Lamb wrapped in grape leaves and has a lemon sauce on top of it, I'm not a big fan of lamb but this is an amazing dish,We order it evertime we go and its the best Lamb I've ever had in my life,You can't go wrong with any dish here,The deserts are amazing,We get Teramasu quite a bit the portions are generous,My wife and I can split one but I would prefer to have my own and pig out lol,This place is very special to us we have gone here for our anniversary a few times,I would give this place 10 stars if I could!! Definitely worth a try if you're looking for great Greek food

mediterranean food and service here is super good. It was so savory. I've had nothing but great experiences here and will keep coming back. Prices are appropriate. If it wasn't far from my work I would come by more.

Papapavlo's is a wonderful hidden Mediterranean gem. It is upscale, but a warm environment. The food is on the slightly pricy side, but well worth it. I had the salad with the beef and lamb gyros. The care and flavor in even their vegetables is notable; but the flavor of the gyros was buttery, savory, and tasted the way you'd hope your grandmother's cooking tasted. I highly suggest you give it a try, and I will be returning.

Love coming here when I am home visiting family in Modesto. The chopped chicken salad is my favorite!

Came here for a special event and loved it! The food was very good and service was attentive. (Would have been 5 ) Came again with friends who did not like the exotic flavors of their regular menu. (3 )

Went there with my family this past New Year's Eve. We hit an early dinner to avoid the New Year's Eve rush. It took literally two (2) hours to make it through dinner by the time we ordered to the time we were served. The most disappointing part was what you got VS what was advertised. I ordered the "Surf n Turf" which was billed as a jumbo prawn and steak combo (this also happened to be the most expensive item on menu). When this main course finally came, the three (3) prawns were hardly "jumbo" and the steak portion was that of an appetizer. I can understand it being New Year's Eve and being busy. I can understand the server having no control over when the food comes out. However, skimping on portions to turn a profit is just not cool.

Heather was our server she was excellent. The Greek lemon chicken soup is Devine. All around experience great.

If I could give ten stars I would. The food was DELICIOUS. The server was attentive. I wouldn't say it was pricey. It was actually decently priced. The ambience was relaxing. If I lived closer I would definitely revisit and revisit.

My wife and I really loved the sea food pasta! One if not the best in town and customer service is top notch!

Mouth watering food! I highly recommend this Restaurant to atleast be tried once. Good service, their very friendly. My husband and i come here once a month for a fancy, quiet, getaway from our kids.

Good food and great staff. A bit smaller seating area but have always been seated quickly. The flaming cheese appetizer is delicious.

This place is too highly priced the servers suck because they do gradituity fee so no need to work hard lol i would not come back ..first and last time ....garbage there gyro sandwhiches are 12 bucks i get mine for less then 5 at super gyros the wait was like 40 minutes on top of that no thanx

Excellent service incredible food.... My father and I came here for a small lunch and enjoyed an excellent meal with an elligant atmosphere. Our waiter Alex was attentive and friendly. Definitely coming back.

Wow the food there is unbelievably good. Decent prices for a high-end restaurant. to say their gourmet would be an understatement. Love it that the staff know the menu because they've tried it. The owner even came and checked in with us. one of my top three favorite restaurants along with their other location to Familia Bistro

This place is a local gem! The food and the customer service is excellent! I ordered the lamb chops, chicken brochette and lamb brochette. All 3 were excellent. We also enjoyed the baklava cheesecake. You have to try this place!

Such a wonderful place to enjoy a quiet meal with a romantic date , someone you love or with a best friend. The atmosphere is clean just the perfect amount of light and not too noisy. I've never seen screaming crying kids there either! That is a huge Plus for me. The food is very good and the cook is very skilled and open-minded, creative and patient with the most picky food snobs. The wait staff is also wonderful. They always seem so welcoming and appreciative of your business and do everything to make your meal very special. It's worth every penny to go there. It's what dining out is supposed to be like.

The food and service were good. The "chef's choice pasta" was a bit salty, but everyone in my party enjoyed his/her food. The pasta (as in all the pasta being served) is also usually served with a side of green beans and carrot skins.

I was immediately shocked when I saw the portion for the crab cakes appetizer. They were literally three little silver dollar sized, thin patties of crab cakes with a very small side of lettuce with italian dressing. I forgot how much they were exactly, but the price was too expensive for the portion size. The dessert's were a hit and miss, but I personally liked the cheesecake they had.

The waitresses who attended us were very nice and attentive. The restaurant gives a nice ambience and is a clean little restaurant to check out. I might give it another shot.

My boyfriend and I have been going here for several years. The food is great and the service is wonserful. I love the flaming cheese. It's a little on the pricey side, so we usually save it for a special occasion.

I m from Detriot MI home of Greektown and was looking forward to a delicious treat. The waitress and salad was nice for starters but not my order lamb kabob brochette and my friends vegetable brochette. Dry tough, no flavor. And they did not have garlic sauce. And finally when I saw my bank statement the next day the waitress gave herself an additional $4 tip. The meal for two was definitely not worth $70!!

Delicious! The cauliflower wings are awesome, perfectly battered and fried. Their pesto is fantastic. I find myself craving it at random times throughout my day. The variety of selections is fantastic, and the portion sizes are very good. For anyone considering to go on a plant based diet, but is unsure of what they would be able to eat, you should definitely give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.

Great atmosphere, food is pretty good but not the most impressive I ordered the pasta with marinara and Italian sausage turns out the Italian sausage is made into the sauce making it not an marinara sauce. But the food still tastes good.

Excellent food, Excellent service .Our waiter Sergio was outstanding.From the minute we walked in ,this restaurant we were personally attended to.Another waitress Nicki was by the table several times to address our needs as well.This was our first experience with Papapavlos and we will be going back many times .They have great Customer Service .

I was open minded about trying this place at the Standiford location. It might just be me but I've been to other Mediterranean restaurants (Demetra Cafe) and Papas just doesn't stack up with the big dawgs. I still suggest giving it a try for yourself.

Tasted the chicken fettuccine alfredo with a side of green beans and a cup of clam chowder. The fettuccine was topped with a beautifully cooked chicken breast and a creamy and delicious alfredo sauce. Although some of the green beans were rubbery, I'll give them a pass because the pasta was just that good. The clam chowder was also very tasty and the clams were perfectly cooked. The waiter was also very kind and fast with refills and bring out our food, never had to ask for anything. Bring your family here for a nice meal or bring your date for a romantic evening. Papapavlo's is a great place to experience a variety of delicious cuisine.
